    I wish 8bitdo and more reviewers were more clear that the button mapping and profiles only work when the controller is on 2.4 ghz mode. I almost sent the thing back because I could not program the back paddles no matter what I did.

      It something I mentioned in my full video... Not sure what software you're using (eaplay, steam, or xbox gamepas) but in bluetooth mode the controller the 8bitdo runs in d-input and in 2.4htz it runs in X-input which is what most gaming platforms in pc are compatible with! If in D-input a lot of the buttons will not work! ruclips.net/video/viDJu5JTFuk/видео.htmlsi=bo6FOGod2fxK83qF&t=209

    As a former Xbox gamer using an Xbox elite 2 controller i love to see 8bitdo do everything the elite controller can do at literally half the price. And you get a decent looking charging stand with it unlike the stupid looking block that comes with the elite. Big fan of the integrated paddles too, that was my one gripe with the elite controller. Even with a minor impact or God forbid an actual drop, those back paddles fly ungodly distances and always end up in the most the least likely, and hardest to get to spots.

      I'd also like the 8bitdo Ultimate be compatible with the Xbox One or Series X... I noticed it doesn't work really well in bluetooth mode on pc for certain gaming platforms because I believe I read it runs in D-input while in Bluetooth mode and x-input while in 2.4Ghz mode. I think that is what I found out during the making of my review: ruclips.net/video/viDJu5JTFuk/видео.htmlsi=2U7pxZwQ2clKXrCl

    How does the turbo button work? I have it on the star button but i have tried on on smash but it doesn't do anything. Does it only work on several games or what?

      It should work for whatever button you program it to no matter what the game... ruclips.net/video/viDJu5JTFuk/видео.html

      The controller might need to be in 2.4 ghz on the back toggle switch, youll need to use the included adapter for the switch

      @@Wedeemgaming I hear that the turbo button is not ideal because you cannot change the rate the turbo button presses at, ¿eS correcto o no?

    I can't find anything online about it but the status LED on the bottom of the controller in green that tells you what control you're connected into sometimes has all of the green lights lit up for an entire play session.
    Anybody have an idea what that is about?

    I bought the 8bitdo Ultimate (69 euros) for the switch and the input lag in Fornite is unbearable, I don't know if it is defective or if the controller is worth more than what it offers.

    • @Wedeemgaming
      @Wedeemgaming  8 месяцев назад +1

      I haven't tried it on fornite or any online game for that matter... My biggest issue is that it runs in x-input instead of D-input like the Xbox controller, so most gaming series such as epic games or ea or even gamepass don't recognize it in Bluetooth mode. It has to be connected via the USB dongle! This is not a huge deal, but what's the point of Bluetooth if if you can use it 90% of the time.
