Yo thanks for the time stamps homie
@@pixaafterdark9915 sorry this is late but no problem
Personally I love CF over WW because WW was a good game, but CF improves it and adds a new area
I always felt like the NH 3am music was making fun of me for still being awake at that time. (Which I see as both a good thing and a bad thing).
"We know you're still awake you clown, go to bed"
lmao yeah. It's tonally similar to 2 AM in gamecube, the only difference being 2 AM is an absolute bop.
Yeahhh for real but i feel like the previous games still did it way better. Wild world 6am and GameCube 2am r great examples of this
The 2pm theme in NH also just really feels weird to me. Which is why I tend to avoid the afternoons, the morning & evening themes sound nicer to me.
For City Folk, you could also use the Wii nunchuck to move around instead of point and click with the Wiimote. But you still had to use point and click to do anything in your inventory
I wanted to like new horizons so much but after a while of playing it it just got tedious and I didn't really want to play it anymore. The customization stuff was really cool but I think it was just too much and kinda got me discouraged
The older games have less content, but they all have so much more heart. New horizons is stressful in comparison. The older games are just so chill.
@@pixaafterdark9915 fr, it may just be nostalgia but I loved city folk
The damn 3am music I always felt it judging me when I was up late playing
Ima try to make a company that spans multibke games
i 100% relate to new horizons' music just inducing exhaustion. like after the initial excitement of a new animal crossing game wore off, playing acnh every day started to feel like a chore, and the music REALLY boosts that feeling up to 11 somehow lol. i wish they had added an option in resident services that let you switch to the hourly soundtracks of previous games. even if all the new music was perfect, i still think that'd be a really cool feature.
That'd have been so easy and so appreciated, like the payoff to effort ratio is crazy with that, yet so few games do it
I got New leaf in 2015 and played nearly every day for about 4-5 years straight. I stopped playing New Horizons consistently in 2022. Just two years for me to get bored of it.
I love some of the music esp the early morning songs but....man....some of them....are not good songs to hear on repeat for a whole hour lol
I hope for the next game they have sound and music options
I would turn down the hourly music and waterfalls so fast haha
Or just turn off the music altogether
I played city folk and the point mechanic is annoying- but, you could hook a nunchuck to the wiimote and use that to move. It actually worked slick!
Ohhh yeah i remember nunchucks
Wild World was my first and only AC game gifted me, and it's so special to me even if it gets boring. The music any time of day is god-tier and the characters still had their own fun personalities. I always envied the City Folk game tho bc Wild World does feel like that small town that gets boring after exploring everything. Even so, it still has that comforting quality (snowmen, travelers, balloon packages, funny letters from mom & dad, KK playing at the Roost) that makes AC so special. ♡
I love all the games but wild world is the one I go back to most often. While I was making this video I was actually wishing I still had my Ds and could play it lol.
me too! it was my first ever AC game and it was gifted to me by my cousins for christmas. i remember them teaching me how to play and all i did for a while was just collect apples. it's such a special and cozy game, the music and graphics really take me back
The only thing that bothers me in ACNL is the grueling task on having to donate to add stuff like benches. It just took too long and I'm always almost out of bells once the project is over.
I dont mind having to do it to add stuff to main street or add the cafe, it's just the minor stuff which just makes me wish adding furniture outside was added sooner
(Also sorry if anything was incorrect, its been a long time since i played the game)
Lmao public works projects were a breeze for me since I was a hardcore capitalist in that game haha. I’d go to the island every day for hours and import sharks and tropical fish like I was a 17th century merchant.
But public work projects were so much nicerrr and gives u more of a sense of accomplishment than customizing in new horizons is (I do agree tho getting the bells for them was tedious)
Acnh is the type of relationship where it has so many flaws but you still love them. I got 1k hours. I’ve done a lot played a lot of multi player, practically know every secret, etc. but what is so painful about acnh is it’s extreme potential that never got there. Like all the updates were amazing!….for a day or so. The lack of many charaters, the lack of things to do after 300 hours. “Well why don’t you redo your island!” Listen bud, terraforming and transerifng this little area on my map could take up to 4 hours. This Could’ve been the Minecraft of animal crossing games. We could’ve gotten caves,we could’ve gotten a city to build up! But naw. I wish we could’ve gotten a online multiplayer trading hub or a place to build your own market place, make restaurants and work! Acnh had the amazing potential to be one of the best MMO’s,but naw within two years it was shut down
Ikr. I literally restarted my island from scratch thinking I could relive the magic. I quit after a day and went back to new leaf.
@@pixaafterdark9915 restarting in ANY AC game is a huge mistake. you think it's gonna be a fun and fresh start to get you motivated but then you just realize you have to relive both the good and the grindy and end up quitting. we've all learned it the hard way and I haven't done it since I reset my first WW game as a kid and got so unmotivated
I agree with the flaws of ACNH, the worst being the villager dialogue for sure. It is still my most played switch game at like ~1300 hours. I really enjoy the DLC though and spend a lot of time there while also collecting other recipes I don't have (there are just wayyyyy too many)!
As someone who’s played these games since WW launched, NH also really altered some elements of fandom for the worst - all of a sudden it was all about ‘rare villagers’ and Nookazon rather than sharing personal experiences and stories, it just felt like the warmth was sapped out (and not just because the number of fans grew to 100x more than ever before)
for sure. it feels really superficial, materialistic and, honestly, i hate to say it - but so much of the fanbase is toxic and hostile now. ://
Literally like everything turned to being warm and cozy to threatening people over those 'rare' villagers and memes; I didn't like the influx of fans for that reason
ACNH is a beautiful game graphically but it misses so much content and features. For previous games, I liked the events such as flea-market day and acorn day.
Why can’t I multi-craft in NH? Why is Nooks shop only upgraded twice 😭 (this one hurts me so bad bc I always loved the challenge of getting Gracie’s shop). Why are Leaf, Redd, Tortimer, and everyone else only reduced to getting a van on a separate island instead of your main island? This hourly music is the worst out of all the AC games. I could seriously go on and on 😭
Please make more AC videos :)
with city folk you could use a nunchuck actually, so it wasn't too bad if you had one
and hardcore agree about the burn-out from new horizons, it got so boring after i got a general layout of my town
it was so anticpated yet so, so disheartening
New Horizons isn't necessarily a bad game, but it IS a bad Animal crossing game and every time I play it I just wish I was playing New Leaf
most annoying thing ab the earlier games is that u cant change your skintone 😭 had to run around circles for like 30 min to finally reach my skintone lmaoo
BRO FR for a long time my only AC game was WW and i remember i would just leave my villager in the top furthest corner of my town in the summer season and leave my ds running for hours just so it would look like me 😭
@@QueenLethargy That's actually funny af
Great points in this video. I've been thinking about the series a lot lately since I'm planning on reviewing it in-depth. You can use a Wii remote and nunchuck for City Folk, but the game's controls are still not good. The biggest issue to me is that there's no designated run button unlike the other Animal Crossing games. The B button is used for both running and picking items up off of the ground, which means if you have a custom design path and go to run on the path you'll pick up a custom design from the ground every time you're in range. It's also annoying with flowers. I like Wild World more than City Folk since the dialogue is so great even though the game has more technical limitations. Most of the points in this video I've thought about before and agree with, but I totally forgot about the trees issue in the original Animal Crossing. To stop myself from writing more paragraphs, I wrote down the list of what I'd consider to be the worst parts of each mainline Animal Crossing game.
GameCube: Only 3 items per storage furniture item (bad item storage), camera shift between acres, no character customization, some dialogue can be a bit too mean but I still think it's great
Wild World: Dirt and grass mottled throughout the map looks ugly, lack of real holidays, and you need someone else to visit your town in order to unlock Shampoodle which is bad since online services have been discontinued and it'd be difficult to find someone to visit your town anyways
City Folk: Villager dialogue loops, can't get photos or anything exclusively from villagers, controls aren't that good, not a very innovative game, Animal Tracks were too easy to make
New Leaf: Difficult to place Public Works Projects, issues with villager plots (got better after the Welcome Amiibo update), April Fool's Day holiday made villager photos feel less valuable
New Horizons: Lack of late-game content, difficulty, and progression over time aside from decorating your island; Golden tool durability barely better than standard tools which makes them not worth crafting or using, no way of seeing tool durability, still lacked content after the final 2.0 update, villager dialogue is overly polite for every personality type no matter the friendship level and has issues with being repetitive
Love this comment and how in depth it is. Read every word of it. Great points abt GameCube and wild world I never thought abt. The storage issue in GameCube is something I always tune out lmao.
I can never see anyone talk bad about new leaf. For me, its the fact the animals leaving without you knowing. I lost so many villagers. I had to fix it with amibo cards. I also lost perfect pears because Butch decided to land on them. Thats why i like new horizons better.
My personal beef with the new horizons online features is Nintendo greed with it being locked behind a paywall
like one of the reasons I loved new leaf so much was because it felt like such a community game, if you were new to the game other players could help you out and give you things for the small price of your freind code on your ds
And getting custom codes for clothes and paths was only a QR code away, it was wonderful it felt like such a community
where as now it the only way you can get a "good" island is to have Nintendo online so you have access to the codes and other peoples islands because the only other option is to ge SUPER good and making codes and time skipping a bunch to get one furniture item you need.
It not online relayed but
I also HATE with a burning passion the fact they added a crafting mechanic BUT THEY DONT HAVE BULT CRAFTING.
THE HOURS I HAVE SPENT CRAFTING FISHBAIT I WILL NEVER GET BACK!!
I swear we need to have a rally to the creators so they'll give the villagers their own personalities. I have Erik and Sherb and I'm tired of hearing the same dialogue out of both characters.
same. I recently talked to two villagers and literally got the exact same thing back to back from both of them within a span of 30 seconds.
I’ve only ever played new horizons and after hearing all the stuff that was in new leaf I was just SHOCKED, like how could SO MUCH of the new leaf content not be on the new horizons base game?? on the brightside I recently got a 3ds and I started playing new leaf and I can’t wait to get into it!
It's a legit masterpiece. I've had like 4 towns that I've sunken hundreds, if not thousands, of hours into.
Ok so small update about things that have impressed me after two weeks with NL:
- THE WII U YOU GET FOR PLAY COINS HAS A MINIGAME???
- speaking of play coins, I love the nintendo extras you get for buying fortune cookies, really wish they were in NH
- cuatomizing furniture depends on finding different ore and there’s so many cool ones (I haven’t woken reese up yet tho)
- minigames on the extra island
- more buildings, which is something I always wished NH had
That’s all I’ve noticed so far and I know I still have a lot to discover :)
@@marykings5825 oh, i'm so excited for you to discover the other little minigame items
I started back playing animal crossing new leaf when I had finally got one of my favorite villagers in my town, and it's super cool, but I do have some annoyances. Like while I haven't reached the bell requirement for the last shop upgrade I still haven't gotten Gracie to come to my town for the fashion check, which sucks.
Other complaints:
-weird one but many times when I was younger I would get to Toy day but because of the outfit requirement and the shoes from kicks I would never really get to do the special event that day even if I got all the other items, wish it wasn't so strict
-Villager plots, this was very much improved in NH, and while I like the randomness of NL it isn't great
-Villager dialogue, it's not as bad as NH (which is BAD) but still i just got another normal villager move in today, so now I have 3, including my favorite, Lolly, so I'm going to be getting the same dialouge and interactions across all of them
-Campsite mechanics, another improvement in NH, I'm scared to try it in NL because when I had got a villager to move in just for funsies it took Oliva out and I had really liked her💔💔And now I don't wanna risk losing Lolly because I've reset for so long to get her
This makes it seem like I have so many problems with the game but nah I've played since it came out and I still think it's great, I've just had a falling out with the animal crossing model/gameplay loop over the years. I agree with the music point for NH tho, it's not bad, just a downgrade from NL for me, each hour is not distinct enough musically to really represent the hour well tbh.
I still have my OG copy of the gamecube version I got on launch, it's still my favorite AC game, honestly the acres make it 100x easier to graph stuff out and find critters
New leaf is my first ac game and I started it only a month ago. It's really good
Yo enjoy it man. Trust me, the more you play the better it gets. I’ve had like 4 towns.
i had a counter for new horizons that i started 300 days from its release i understand the disappointment 😞😞💔
Lol, the moment it was announced, I swore that I would main villager in smash until the game released.
Good video, you know you can use the nunchuck on city folk to walk
Lol thanks for watching. I’ve never actually played the game on official hardware so I didn’t know that. Still sticking to the steam deck tho haha.
@@pixaafterdark9915wii remote controls for city folk wasn't the best. I would prefer normal controls. 😂
Great video man, one thing about New Horizons is I could just never get to properly designing my island. I felt like all my ideas were bad compared to other people I saw online. I want to pick up the game again and at least try designing my own island but I don't really play animal crossing for that reason. New Horizons felt like they were going for style over substance.
i have like 800 hours in acnh... i deleted my first island which i had the most hours in but god did it burn me out even resetting didnt help. i think the time acnh was released has to do with the reason why it was so popular and why it couldnt last in the long run which is extremely sad because it is not a terrible game, it just lacks the characteristics we usually know from animal crossing games. and it simply feels unfinished and empty.
i have always loved new leaf though, its just timeless, i still play it to this very day ;(
great video! as someone who played both new leaf and new horizons, i agree with the points you mentioned, especially with the crafting/durability system in new horizons. it does get grating after a while and was more of a chore to recraft stuff like an axe or shovel.
8:37 Objection! You actually can play the game with the analog stick on the nunchuck
I take care of three towns in New Leaf, Let's Go to the City and Wild World. New Leaf will always be the best among these three, colours are just so bright, you can feel the different parts of the day, there are lots of customisation options (in the correct quantity) and... I just feel at home in that game. Then I bought Let's Go to the City because I wanted to build a bigger town on 25 acres on two levels and I liked it, I love seeing my town on the big screen even if controls are frustrating sometimes. Then some months ago I wanted to try Wild World mainly because of the dialogues of the animals 😂 All of these three games are masterpieces... But... Nothing will beat 5 pm musuc on New Leaf. Nothing.
I lovee that bossa nova sound i think that ones my favorite out of all the nl soundtracks
The 3am song would’ve given me a jumpscare if I ever played at that time 😂
animal crossing good game ngl
The online feature for new horizons is SO horrendous I gave up trying to score fruit on other islands it’s not worth it
Same lol. Glad they made it easier to get fruits without online.
New Leaf was my favourite as well! While the DS was my first console, the 3DS was the first I got animal crossing on. It was perfect! Tangy the orange cat was definitely my favourite villager in my town. I loved going to the islands, and I loved all the decorations. I wanted my tree to be the biggest, and I wanted all the decorations to the point I was running out of room. I spent almost every hour of my summers playing that game. After New Horizons, I migrated back to that game.
Tangy is my fave as well. I’ve drawn her multiple times, she’s great.
i personally love acnl, but I find really annoying that the only way for my character to match my skin tone is by being afk for hours in tortimer island
Yo same, I completely forgot to mention that.
As someone whos never played any of the ac games other than NH i love it because i use it as a decorating simulator more than what i think the game was made for. But if i acutally played the game as "intended" i would of long been bored of it. great video!
New Horizons villagers feels brainwashed, its like they are forced to not show any emotions other than happiness. I miss when villagers were allowed to be mad or sad, it made them more relatable.
alao fun fact the 3 am music is supposed to be wonky because thats the "scary" time. hence why if you have tv or computer screens they glitch out. I think its a cool detail but ik its subjective for everyone, nothing beats new leaf night music tho
Totally love this video, love a good complaining sesh haha xD NH is my favorite just as like a design sandbox, but yeah it's... just barely still an Animal Crossing game. Would love a follow up with your favorite parts of each too! I miss the cafe work minigame in New Leaf T^T and "nick jr. dialogue" omg
P.S. here's a tip for ACGC: when you have a new fruit, chop down one of your existing fruit trees and plant the new fruit there. Then you'll know it will grow!
Actual genius idea for the fruit tree tip. If I ever pick the game back up again I’ll definitely use that.
I cannot state how much I agree with you on all of this like oh my god. As a old player since wild world, New leaf was really the peak of the series
City Folk was my first animal crossing game and I loved playing everyday after school. There was a hack you could do where you didn't really have to point and click. If you had the nunchuck you can move around with ease and you barley had to use the censor bar so you can just turn that off. But New Leaf is and always will be my favorite
the instance you mentioned tools breaking, my SHOVEL BROKE 😂
I am in your walls
@@pixaafterdark9915 definitely you are... should I change my locks? Hahahahaha
the 3am song sounds like it was made in club penguin
How the hell do you only have 430 subscribers??? This is such a good video
I played AC on Gamecube way back when it came out, and it's the only animal crossing game I've paid my debt off in. Me and my friend played it for hooouuuurs taking turns going to the island to farm coelacanth late at night. Loved the game, especially the music.
I have tried every other AC game, and have always come away from them disappointed. They just don't feel like they hit right. There's always something that bothered me about the others, plus the music never even comes close to original AC imo.
Good video!
Pretty sure the City Folk controls are more of a personal issue because you can easily just plug in a Nunchuck to the Wii Remote and there you go. Analog control
lol yeah
2 hour long video about new horizons downsides and best of every animal crossing would be really cool to see!
I’m sticking to shorter vids rn since I’m really new to editing (also I’m impatient) but maybe in the future.
Something bad I thought about animal crossing new leaf is the player customisation. If you aren’t white there’s really no options for representation other than the mii heads at Shampoodle
Yup. I got so accustomed to it that I forgot to bring it up in the vid.
I agree with the controls thing for the Wii port of Wild World which is why when i played it, I used the nunchuk exclusively.
The 3am music is like that to tell you you are a clown for playing at 3am 😂
I love how honest you are in each of these. keep up the good work.
The 2.0 update made new horizons more bearable but I cannot understand why it has no club tortimer-like feature - that would’ve been a huge selling point for nintendo switch online. Sadly the updates came out as players were already burning out. I loved feeling like I could escape into another world in the older games but new horizons feels like a blank canvas. While the customization is fun, it’s also overwhelming.. I don’t want to decorate a town with furniture and cute animals, I want to move into a town, pay my debt, and form relationships with my villagers
Great video! Had me cackling many times 😂
« who is gonna watch this video » I DID DAWG.
Lol, I was expecting this vid to flop tbh. Surprised it’s doing so well.
8:27 Hot take, the controls for lets go to the city are really good
Also you do realise that the Wii version lets you use an analogue stick??
(The nunchuck)
Ye
8:25
i got that nun-chuck action bro
most nostalgic game EVER (Animal City theme goes hard, especially the remaster in ACNH)
9:19
dissed balloon furniture 😭
A game called "City folk" should have sidewalks and assault and subways and cars and busses and stuff
this video is so well made youre so great at this holy cow subbed
1:30 I realize now that a lot of games of that era "don't respect your time".
I think a lot of modern games are afraid of being too obtuse or 'long-term'. (That's not a real word, it just means the opposite of instant --gratification-- satisfaction). But sometimes you get 'lost' and that's okay.
Ocarina of Time, for example, will leave you not knowing how to 'progress' the main story, but that can work in its favor because the side quests and world exploration are equally as compelling. Chulip on the PS2, on the other hand, can be fairly called BAD for a whole host of bad design decisions, but it still has a niche following of people who are willing to look past all that. Because it's about making bonds with the townspeople (the closest game I could think of is Persona? but I haven't played that) & it scratches the same worldbuilding/immersion itch that Ocarina of Time does.
I think that's why I like only _some_ ""lifestyle"" games, ones where you roleplay as a character w/in the world. Not that sims crap.
GCN Animal Crossing is goated, but Mew Leaf is my favorite. I just wish there was a “blend” game that takes the best elements from both New Leaf, with the awesome content, and combines the charm of the original with the more grounded villagers or like the rougher parts of the original Animal Crossing game.
personally i like that 3am music, because it sounds more in-keeping with the AC music i loved from WW, CF and NL. Most of New Horizons' hourly music is so un-AC and bland. :/ Also, since the 2.0 update I've fallen really in love with NH, but when it first came out, it really was so barren and empty. the 2.0 update added almost everything that I felt was missing, but I have NO idea why they removed New Leaf's multiplayer minigames. Now, in NH, there's basically nothing to do with friends, whereas in the previous game you could have so much fun on the minigame tours. :( I don't wanna just run around aimlessly.
edit: why the hell can't we help brewster anymore either? man, i'm fuming
The fix for not letting special fruit trees die, is to chop down an existing tree, remove the stump with your shovel and bury the fruit in the space left behind. That way you know a tree will grow in that spot pretty much, guaranteed.
my boy... city folk worked with the nunchuck! don't you know!?
This was such a well made video, I thought you were a big creator. Im definitely subbing to see where your channel goes! ☺️
New Leaf is my fav AC game, the only thing that bothers me is the repetetive dialogues, sometimes a villager will say the same phrase 3 times in a row.
If we could mix New Leaf with Wild World dialogues and New Horizons graphics, it would be the best AC game from all the time.
new leaf has the best music out of like any game ever, not just animal (tied with a few but still), however acnh has a great soundtrack as well, i love the country feeling aesthetic it has, and 3 am is one of my favorites 😭
its nice to find another small youtuber to sub to! I'd love to see a video about the best parts of each animal crossing in your opinion sometime - also yess new leaf is def the best animal crossing game
I love you pixa I can’t believe I found your channel at only 500 subscribers. I’m glad we both love animal crossing. Your editing and commentary style is very entertaining and I genuinely think you could make it big. Just make sure you remember us when you do 😉
I certainly will
I hope Nintendo sees everyone criticizing the blandness of villagers takes the actions needed to make them feel more personable
Wow such an underrated guy, I was expecting you to have probably around 200k subscribers after watching this vid :O Keep up the good work! haha
you were wrong about one thing: the city folk controls are only point and click *if you don’t have a nunchuck.* although that doesn’t exactly make the controls great, seeing as the motion controls for the tools means you can’t adjust your hand without randomly going fishing 💀 good video though!
also one thing i hated about new horizons is that they took away / completely changed old sets of furniture and clothing. like yes a lot of them were silly and/or ugly, but i loved collecting the wacky sets! in new horizons it’s just boring regular looking furniture for the most part lol
I think you could play with the joystick or controller that plugged into the wii remote for city folk? Ain’t no way I was pointing and clicking my way through that game😅 Big kudos on this video. Please do a video on the best aspects of each game. 😊
CF was my first AC game, so it's great to hear someone else liked it :D it definitely had it's issues, but it also had some good stuff. there was the city with a bunch of shops, there was still some character backstory (Labelle!), when your house was fully upgraded it would have a little flag that you could customize, villagers would lose their house key and ask you for help finding it, the lost and found, the recycling bin, the fountain you could unlock that came with a special character, and last but not least, it has my favorite version of the Turkey Day event (Look it up if you haven't played it before! it's hilarious). I realize this doesn't fit the video topic technically, but I'm so used to people hating on CF that hearing someone say it was their second favorite got me so excited!
Oh, and CF also has better dialogue than NH
CF is also my favorite! I played it the most consistently of all the games. Having so many places to check out daily (including the comedy shows which never came back😢) made the game easier to check in with everyday. I’m considering going back to it now, haha
great video, keep up the good work !
Honestly City folk is my favorite game yeah grass decay is annoying and all but you can fix it by not running. I loved coming home from school and playing it and I still play it. The graphics are phenomenal I think it’s a complete upgrade from wild world
I enjoyed your critiquing of the Animal Crossing series, it brought back so many of the early Animal Crossing GameCube day lol, anyways liked and subscribed, bell notifications hit looking forward to future AC videos 🥰😎
I love when someone tells me how much they love acnl! Please make a video like that :)
Me finding this video was so odd because I recognized your profile picture from a different social media platform from about 4 years ago. Other then that, this was a pretty good video, I'll check out your others and I'm interested in what comes next.
Thanks broski. Yeah ik you’re Isaiah-draws from Pixilart
You like animal crossing AND bloons. Good taste.
I am a very cultured man. And I can see you are too, considering the animations you've made.
also New Horizons is great. Lots of fun lots of fixes to things the other games did wrong. It has things I don't like too but there is terraforming, swimming customize every house, it helps you make friends.
If you had Bob in Animal Crossing, that means that you have Sonic The Hedgehog in your island, but if you have Dotty instead, mean that you have Tails The Fox in the game!!!!!!!!
I LOVED THIS VIDEO SM everything you said are FACTS and the edition!! very entertaining to watch :]
I HATE the fact that the Nintendo online membership is so invasive in New Horizons. I shouldn't have to pay for an online membership to use features of the game that weren't locked behind a pay wall in previous installments, mainly scanning QR codes for other players' designs. I really suck at making my own designs, so downloading other designs is sort of the only way I can make paths and stuff look good, unless I want to strain my eyes copying down patterns 🙃 It really makes me wonder what's going to happen to New Horizons when Nintendo stops supporting the switch. I know that probably won't happen for a long time, but still, will we just lose access to all the online features? Sharing designs has been such an important part of my animal crossing experience in the past.
💖 you can use a nunchuck on the wii version, otherwise yeah
Breath of the Wild wouldn't be the same without the durability mechanic (The Master Sword is the only weapon that become unusable for 10 minutes instead of breaking).
okay abo-mii-nation gave me a good chuckle... animal crossing gamecube was BRUTAL in hindsight haha
Glad someone appreciates my comedic genius.
this video was so funny, I agree with every point you made 😩😂
What ARE your favourite things about each Animal Crossing game?? 😮 this was a fun watch btw so true
I love New Leaf but man I hate how organizing and going through storage takes forever, and decorating taking jumping around storage. And how public works projects would get little donations and you do the rest taking a million years, I can't just pop things down but then again probably a hardware limitation.
Other then that I love New Leaf.
Nice video.❤ Followed!
Glad I'm not the only one who felt burned out from playing New Horizons (whereas I didn't with the other games). Figured it was just because I'm older and have more to do.
It seems that New Horizons focuses way too much on the multiplayer aspect, of having your island look pretty so people can visit it. Everything's literally just a prop, including your villagers.
Sure, I found trying to make my island look nice fun at first... But then, especially with the whole "you have to wait a day to move a house" thing, I started wondering what the point is, and started playing games that actually have some action. The game just felt like a chore where you do the same, boring daily tasks over and over.
With the other games, there was some fun with finding rare items. I loved trying to get the silver and gold items! But on New Horizons, they can break! So, why bother?
HISASHI NOGAMI IS NOT A SOCIOPATH HE IS A NATIONAL TREASURE
I think a lot of the problem from day 1 acnh players is that the game was never intended to be played for 3 months straight like it ended up being, so the problems became so apparent while they should’ve really been realized maybe a year later, not right after launch
Love the pixel art of your profile picture
I grew up playing acnl so I'm pretty biased to dismiss its bad mechanics lol :P the balloon furniture is so ugly but it holds a place in my heart for sure
New Horizons is still missing content unfortunately. Within about 30 hours of playing it, I was disillusioned. I still like it, don't get me wrong but I had never been truly disappointed by an Animal Crossing game before.
Fact is, this is by far the best selling Animal Crossing game, we should still be getting updates to this day imo.
This guy actually thought that Wii Pointer controls were the only way to play City Folk.
Animal Crossing New Horizons AI for the animal dialogue gets better over time, as in, the more you talk to them, the more different and unique things they have to say. That's why if you have a favorite villager you talk to more than the others, your fave will have better conversation dialogue than the ones you ignore the most and they are still stuck on basic. (Some people dont like certain of their villagers and want them to move out, so they go talk to that villager regularly to hassle it, or see if it will move out soon, but you may have noticed doing that has an opposite effect....they stay and stay....) but yeah sooo....
