- We travelled on a sleeper bus from Luang Prabang Laos to Chiang Rai, Thailand. It didn't go as smoothly as we thought it would!
After spending 3 weeks exploring Laos - Vientiane, Vang Vieng and Luang Prabang - it was time to leave.

Hi Andy! It was not great, that's for sure. But it is part of travelling, full of surprises aha. Danny has recovered now, thank you. We filmed this video at the end of June before spending the summer in Europe. :)
Laotians like to enter to Thailand just to drive on Thai road when driving from northern to southern Laos and such.
We didn't know, any reason why? Because of the roads? We travelled from Vientiane to Vang Vieng, and the roads were nice, but we have to say the journey from Vang Vieng to Luang Prabang was a lot bumpy. Not sure about the rest of the country :)

Yes, we realised this as soon as we saw the bus! 🙃 And we understood why the agency didn't have any photos of the bus to show us. We travelled on buses through Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam, and we had COMPLETELY different experiences with our VIP buses. Thank you for watching :)
