Egg Pickles also if you listen closely, when the magazine almost empty in bf1, you can hear the distinct noice from the mag, the noice of that last bullet in the mag. Oh and also if I'm not wrong you can also hear the firing sound with more depth or something when you ads in bf1
And it's very smooth in a way compared to modern warfare like I understand that the guns feel like real proper guns with strong recoil and stuff but there's a middle ground were it's smooth and realistic
I just played Bf1 multiplayer and WWII multiplayer back to back and what a night and day difference. BF1 has more photorealistic graphics, better immersion with explosions and the feeling of war being all around you, better maps, better teammates, much better gun sounds on my sound bar, and you just run into more people.
Honest opinion, the guns in COD sound like they recorded some gun sounds and just added some sort of synthetic bass to them, but battlefield sounds sounded as if they were recorded at a range. They sound authentic and they sound as if you are actually there in the war zone, like u can hear the echo and all that
i think its actually more accurate than in bf1.. shovels are heavy. and when you swing it around like that, it is exhausting, so yeah, yells are accurate, as well as heavy breathing, but not for the first few swings

Being super honest but the guns from Battlefield sound so soothing, and makes it sound as if you were there in real life. The echoes it gives off after every shot makes it sound and feel realistic.
They both have there pros and cons only thing I wish would change is the amount of online traffic between the two. BF should be getting more players but they don't because people who play COD play it just because it's "COD"
You cant deny Battlefield is the winner. The producers actually recorded the gun sounds of the actual gun. For the guns where they cant find it they just recreated it

There's a difference between graphics and animation. I think they both look amazing when it comes to graphics. But check how smooth BF1 looks, how the gun shakes when shooting and how smooth it looks. COD Looks good, but not as smooth as BF1. Check How the Lewis gun in bf1 looks hella smoother than the lewis gun un COD. But that's just my opinion.
Im Legit He's talking about the animation. For example, the gun movement in BF1 is 60fps while the gun movement in cod is more like 30fps. That's what he means by smooth.

Cody Shultz the 1903a4 never had an offset scope, at least not a unertl scope which is what that is supposed to be. It also makes stripper clips impossible to use. And reply the video the scope isn't offset of the gun, it's like they was loading at an angle which again isn't possible
Were the graphics on high settings for CoD? This game looks king of ugly... And BTW, the sound design of Battelfield 1 is just PERFECT. The immersion is total. Seems like the CoD sound were taken in a studio and are not rendering great in open space. But CoD is an arcade and nervous game while BF 1 is more a kind of cinematic game. Almost 500, keep your efforts! :-)

Except for the fact that the Lewis gun was used throughout the First World War, the BAR was used right at the end, and guns like the Helriegel weren't used even in the Second World War. I couldn't imagine any of the smgs in bf1 one being used in either, but there are photos of German soldiers holding the MP18 in WW1. The same with the medic rifles.

The Springfield reloading fail is an instant classic!!!!! (You couldn't reload a full clip because of the scope on the way and you had to reload one bullet at a time. In BF1 the scope is on the side, but in CoD the guy reloads through the scope)
That's not the only fail... If u reload half way like 3 rounds left in the rifle, the soldier just puts in a new 5 round clip and it magically becomes 5 in total instead of 8... How fucking dumb and lazy is that. CoD devs don't know shit about weapons in any way possible. Same old shit

Mistakes I can find in cod ww2 and bf1 but imagine cinemasins voice when reading this CoD: -Lewis gun thing behind the plate mag is the opposite way -even if m1911 magazine can be extended it would be 13-15 rounds not 9 -schnellfeuer m712 are rare and the rate of fire is too fast the entire magazine would be empty in split second -you cannot reload a stripper clip when a scope is in the way -Detachable magazine for the sniper rifles doesn't exist except for Lee Enfield, but it's not use for reloading and it's only for cleaning to avoid weapon jamming -3/5 *Still uses stripper clip to reload* -campaign might be iconic but what the heck is the point of adding Soviets, English,French, and Japanese weapon when there's only Germany and Americans -Normal Load outs is inaccurate -Mg42 is slow probably as slow as Mg34 it's big brother -PPsh only holds 56 rounds when in real life it hold 70-71 -most of these weapons are silent -Theres no thanks in cod ww2 when there's one in the campaign and more in WaW -HITMARKERS ARE LOUDER THAN EVERYTHING IN THAT GAME -M1 garand bolt usually closed by itself when the clip is inserted and there's some acception to reload it that way because the weapon is muddy or dirty - *when every weapon is mudded it goes away by it self* - silenced weapon is silent but the bullet is making all of the noise -Invisible walls -whats the point of having AT weapons when there's no tanks? -magazine fed shotgun doesn't exist in the past -physics aren't working properly - *why Chinese language when I open the game?* -why is there a Soviet weapons in the first mission? -Historical Accuracy is a little bit most of them are not accurate enough -only Soviet Russia recruits woman in ww2 or if you know some countries that do - Molotov is supposed to be a tactical but no they're adding it for kill streak instead BF: -Tanks are fast in real life it's slow -iron sights is weird -lewis gun magazine rotates very fast that you can only catch it in slow motion -some of these weapons aren't accurately placed in the right time -also your load outs is inaccurate for your faction - this time BLACK man in the battlefield people assume this game is racist but no -THESE WEAPONS ARE MASSIVE COMPARE TO REAL LIFE *Done* Now talk shit about me and be offended because these mistakes are real and you have to accept it and not defend it
bf1 wins based how it looked in the war for example the Lewis gun in ww2 always had the jacket on but in cod the jacket is off this is stupid because you will burn your hand and the fullauto c96 was uncontrollable without the buttstock in real life because its firerate of 900-1000 but in cod you can control it like it is nothing
Montagne He makes sense, the Lewis Gun witout the jacket is only used on aircraft, and Day of Infamy got it right with the full-auto C96 by having a stock.

Robertjr82 Call of Duty is made by three developers; Infinity Ward, Treyarch and Sledgehammer. They all take turns releasing one every year so they have more time to work on it. Making even a half decent game in a year is quite challenging.

Cod ww2 will definetely destroy bf1, only if they dont copy paste it from battlefield though. You see, bf1 looks like a good game, but it really is a boring full priced game full of glitches, unreallistic af and completely unbalanced. That is the biggest problem, balance. In bf1 skill does not matter, what matters is who will first get into the light tank, and get on a solo 50 kill streak, while a highly skilled player using a one shot reload sniper will get a chest shot from one centimeter and only deal 97 dmg. If cod requires killstreaks for you to earn tanks, planes etc it will be a 10.000 times better version of bf1. If only dice took advise from visceral, and they made a proper pvp game.
Thotpatrol 69 its your choice, if you want, you can jump into a light tank and get a solo 57 kill streak, which is very easy to do. In cod, you need fast reflections and skill, all guns need skill, even explosives.
I cannot deny that COD always does a great job on there textures, their materials are always highly detailed, convincing looking and they have some of the best animators in the industry. But, the Frostbite engine rendering destroys the engine COD uses. And its basically no contest with Frostbites audio systems.
KillerRedVine agreed 100 percent. cod ww2 has also a good hip fire Base. what I mean with that is that aesthetically is could look better in what kind of position it's been held. for example, the m1903 in cod is being more on the view of the player which looks cooler in my opinion. where as in bf1 it's lower and looks maybe more realistic (actual hope fire) but less cool. but then you see cod putting in stripper clips through the scope and realise it's an unfinished product XD
I don't mind the look of the guns, rather the feeling they give. Nothing in Call of Duty feels heavy or powerful. The weapons look like toys because they animate like they weigh nothing.
Sebastian Ruble it's not all just about the quality, although both games look amazing, I love BF1 and it's graphics are good, I have also preordered WW2 and it's looks very good, I know that the recoil in WW2 does not look as good, but keep in mind, the game isn't yet finished.

I like to play both cod and bf. I never even considered them that much of the same type of game. Gameplay between the two are extremely different and i find that to be a good thing. If they were the then these arguments about "BF HAS THIS or COD HAS THAT " would actually make sense. When it comes to graphic, they are both good. visuals can be update and changed. For all we know the build that was used didn't show the full potential of WWII. So at the end of the day they are both great games "when its boots on ground cod", both with their own flaws.

I dont think the graphic will change all that much in the 3 months till release but in my opinion they are still good. As long as the game is good I don't care if the graphics are slightly worse or what not, as long as i have fun im good.

Battlefield 1 has more of a variation of sounds between the guns and also has more of a realistic recoil but I got to give Call of Duty some props for coming back from their fall in Infinite Warfare.

That's every COD game except for last year's Modern Warfare. Every gun in the black ops cold war alpha felt identical. In WW2 some guns at least felt different. It was only cause Infinity Ward did some hardcore research for MW2019 that the guns feel any good.

There's a difference between graphics and animation. I think they both look amazing when it comes to graphics. But check how smooth BF1 looks, how the gun shakes when shooting and how smooth it looks. COD Looks good, but not as smooth as BF1.
Check How the Lewis gun in bf1 looks hella smoother than the lewis gun un COD.
But that's just my opinion.

Except for the fact that the Lewis gun was used throughout the First World War, the BAR was used right at the end, and guns like the Helriegel weren't used even in the Second World War. I couldn't imagine any of the smgs in bf1 one being used in either, but there are photos of German soldiers holding the MP18 in WW1. The same with the medic rifles.

The Springfield reloading fail is an instant classic!!!!! (You couldn't reload a full clip because of the scope on the way and you had to reload one bullet at a time. In BF1 the scope is on the side, but in CoD the guy reloads through the scope)

-schnellfeuer m712 are rare and the rate of fire is too fast the entire magazine would be empty in split second

-Detachable magazine for the sniper rifles doesn't exist except for Lee Enfield, but it's not use for reloading and it's only for cleaning to avoid weapon jamming

Cod ww2 will definetely destroy bf1, only if they dont copy paste it from battlefield though. You see, bf1 looks like a good game, but it really is a boring full priced game full of glitches, unreallistic af and completely unbalanced. That is the biggest problem, balance. In bf1 skill does not matter, what matters is who will first get into the light tank, and get on a solo 50 kill streak, while a highly skilled player using a one shot reload sniper will get a chest shot from one centimeter and only deal 97 dmg. If cod requires killstreaks for you to earn tanks, planes etc it will be a 10.000 times better version of bf1. If only dice took advise from visceral, and they made a proper pvp game.

I cannot deny that COD always does a great job on there textures, their materials are always highly detailed, convincing looking and they have some of the best animators in the industry. But, the Frostbite engine rendering destroys the engine COD uses. And its basically no contest with Frostbites audio systems.
KillerRedVine agreed 100 percent. cod ww2 has also a good hip fire Base. what I mean with that is that aesthetically is could look better in what kind of position it's been held. for example, the m1903 in cod is being more on the view of the player which looks cooler in my opinion. where as in bf1 it's lower and looks maybe more realistic (actual hope fire) but less cool. but then you see cod putting in stripper clips through the scope and realise it's an unfinished product XD

I don't mind the look of the guns, rather the feeling they give. Nothing in Call of Duty feels heavy or powerful. The weapons look like toys because they animate like they weigh nothing.

I like to play both cod and bf. I never even considered them that much of the same type of game. Gameplay between the two are extremely different and i find that to be a good thing. If they were the then these arguments about "BF HAS THIS or COD HAS THAT " would actually make sense. When it comes to graphic, they are both good. visuals can be update and changed. For all we know the build that was used didn't show the full potential of WWII. So at the end of the day they are both great games "when its boots on ground cod", both with their own flaws.

Tobias Timm because the main goal of a beta or alpha is to get people hyped with the gameplay. I dont think the graphic will change all that much in the 3 months till release but in my opinion they are still good. As long as the game is good I don't care if the graphics are slightly worse or what not, as long as i have fun im good.
Why is the Cod trenchgun muzzle flash blue?
It's probably something to do with the lighting. Or it might be a bug.

kevin i just watched a video about this gun, I'm pretty sure it has to do with the way the smoke is released out of the gun causing the muzzle flash to appear blue, sort of. Or I could be a glitch like the other person says

I think it's because the shells are hitting the metal plates on the firing range, which makes it a bluish color
Battlefield is has more choas and more realistic, bigger maps, with more people, you can ride horses and tanks and other vehicle's. I love BF1
BF1's gun sounds have a more crisper sound to them. While CoD WWII's guns sound louder. At least within this video.
The cod sounds are dull, They have no umph. While battlefield sounds like your shooting something powerful, and it has the echo of the shots as well.

zeke geek what's to finish? Every call of duty is the same map with different textures, using 2013 graphics. Their maps are like 1/4th the size of battlefield 1's, yet they look SO HORRIBLE

Battlefield 1 has more of a variation of sounds between the guns and also has more of a realistic recoil but I got to give Call of Duty some props for coming back from their fall in Infinite Warfare.

That's every COD game except for last year's Modern Warfare. Every gun in the black ops cold war alpha felt identical. In WW2 some guns at least felt different. It was only cause Infinity Ward did some hardcore research for MW2019 that the guns feel any good.
