Recently, I've been playing with my Switch for over a month now and at times, I'm still getting challenges using it's joy-cons. Its a good thing I have my XBOX Controller here but it is not compatible with the switch itself. Better yet the @8BitDoTech has an adapter that allows you to connect XBOX Wireless Controllers, PS3/4/5 Controllers and all its devices. You just need to plug it, pair it and it connects instantly.

Yes! Keep in mind one adapter is equivalent of 1 controller only.
