@@kninezbanks Not seeing the moral argument here. Are you saying that because Nintendo has a policy you don't agree with and find annoying, that makes it moral to pirate games?
Nintendo is probably working on a firmware that detects Mig switch and/or changing how cartridges are encrypted/fabricated. So right know it can work with any game released on firmware 17 and down, but there's no guarantee it'll work with 18 and up. And they can force all devs to use new firmware for new games and updates. So this will be really interesting after some cat and mouse has been played by Nintendo and Mig Switch. Adding updates, DLCs and maybe mods to XCI is the number one feature I'd like to see coming, so if they ban the console, everything would still work offline.
This isn't just true, Nintendo already has secondary encryption systems. Presumably they'll roll out support and change how Game Cards are read in the coming months.
Great video. I have no problem pirating older games on older hardware but the backups are what sold me. The ability to legally rip games and possibly emulate them on PC is fascinating.
Holy the cost saving implications as a single father with two little gamers. I can now just buy one physical copy and just put my kids devices into airplane mode.
Please don't do this, the switch will store the telemetry data and upload it to nintendo servers once you connect it to the internet again, and you will be banned on both consoles. even resetting the consoles won't wipe the telemetry data

@zsweetxdreamzz8224 trust me, you will get banned if you play the same cartridge on two different devices, even if one of them are not connected to the internet. as soon as you connect them both to the internet at all (doesn't need to be at the same exact time), both switch consoles will be banned from connecting to nintendo servers (which includes the eshop) because of nintendo's telemetry data system
From a preservation perspective i think the dumper isnt that bad of an idea. I mean we will never know how long those switch cartridges will still work. Awesome video as always jeff
I still plan on purchasing one. My kiddo could use the help simplifying the amount of cartridges he is constantly playing. I appreciate you taking the time to go over this product!!!
Some people may not know this but inserting and ejecting a microSD many times can cause it to go corrupt. There is a reason why most retro handhelds have a shutdown menu option.
I genuinely hope that they start marketing this better as a legal backup of legally bought physical cartridges. I think it would be much easier for them to find places to distribute, and there are absolutely no vendors here that sell them, along with it also having less repercussions. I just want to be able to get a digital copy of the games I ALREADY OWN, without having to worry about cartridge wear & tear. Also, as you mentioned, I would love to be able to bring my entire library with me when I head somewhere, there's multiple games I play through at the same time, and worrying about have I lost my entire library that costs hundreds of dollars and with no backup is just more reason to not play my switch. If I had the peace of mind that I can play MY OWN games without fear of losing all of them just because I'm forced to carry it around, I would be much more likely to use my switch. On-top of that, I would be much more likely to root for Nintendo as they're giving me good value, but also respecting that my games are my own to do with, as long as it's nothing that causes them problems.
I'm one of the people who fits all the criteria for this. I have over 100 physical Switch carts. Some are Limited Run copies, some are imports, and others are just not as easy to find. I dont play online at all, and I rarely, if ever, buy used games. I just want a solution to be able to easily play backups so I can save all my games on a hard drive and not lose an expensive cart.
4:51 the reason why the MIG Switch is like this is because that idea simply won't work anymore due to code signing. While I'm not that knowledgeable on Switch specific security, assuming Nintendo is at least up to the bare minimum, they're likely signing all games with a private key, which the public doesn't have. Hence why you also can't boot homebrew applications, even ones that would run fine at user level as it isn't code signed. My best guess as to why that worked on the DS is the DS either didn't have code signing or it was weak and easily bypassed.
I should note that if the MIG Switch was targeting homebrew Switches specifically, then I believe this would work since the code signing enforcement would be disabled, but they want this to work on stock switches as well since the vast majority of normal users don't mod their switch as disappointing as it may be.
Yeah but it'd only work if you patched your switch with kip/sig patches (I think it's called that), so you'd be enabling pirate mode in order to play backups/homebrew, but with said patches you could just install them and be at the same risk of ban. Over all what they decided on is the only thing that makes sense, I think if the card had like a capacitive button on it that'd make it far more useful, as it is switching games like this is just bad IMO.
Very informative, you have laid out the answers to all the questions I had for this flash cartridge. Thank you. I will probably stay on the fence on this thing for now, I will wait a while for improvements. I also didn't like that push the cart back and forth to switch the game.
I have one of those plastic little book things filled with Switch cartridges that I haven't even played just because I'm too lazy to dig it out and swap carts to play games. Much easier to just fire up a digital game. This is the main reason I've been far more into retro handheld emulators than any of my actual consoles lately. Part of me wishes they'd implement a ripping process to move games from the cart to the Switch itself similar to installing PC games back in the day where you'd need some sort of unique activation key or something.
I have about 80 physical switch games almost exclusively bought off sites like Vinted, Ebay and Amazon. Some are special editions, limited run, import, indie and in some cases quite rare. The Dumper is what interests me. I’m a 40yo gamer who has witnessed several online game stores close down over the years, so I always feel slightly nervous buying digital (unless it’s just silly cheap and I’m unsure of a game). The dumper is a good little tool as it gives me the security and benefits and protection of digital media without the worry of having to rely on a service (online) to acquire my game should I ever run into a situation where the original cart becomes lost, damaged or stolen. The piracy problem isn’t a problem for now as the carts are too expensive to but. It’s almost as much as a new triple A titles, so seems redundant to counterfeit a game at the risk of getting your own switch banned. Switch 2 if it’s capable of backward compatibility and the mig carts become cheaper due to other companies selling similar product then it might become an issue. Just discovered your channel. Liked. Takes a lot of time editing videos and cutting out all the weird incoherent bollocks, so kudos to you ❤
I think about a few things and recourse. If someone dumps a game and sells it on the used market, what happens to the person who buys the game? 1) I think Nintendo has a threshold for banning that includes X instances of a duplicate title key. So two might not meet that threshold. Lightning may need to strike twice just to be online with the person at the same time, on the same server? I just don't know what tech Nintendo uses to really ban* 2) If Nintendo WERE to band your console along with the other party (2 instances of the same game), just take them to small claims court and bring your copy of all your games and ask for damages and loss of use. 3) If your copy was RAMPENTLY pirated and sold to you, then the same action (#2) would apply and I suspect Nintendo would buy you a new copy directly or through settlement, payment, and/or expectation that retail original copy is destroyed to prevent continued bans and continued litigation with you. 4) If you don't have access to small claims in your state, then you would have to hire an attorney :( OR AG would get involved. *I suspect at some point an Attorney will get involved and a class action would start. Through discovery, Nintendo would need to publicly disclose HOW they ban consoles and detect duplicate copies. At some point if this banning became widespread for the used market, Nintendo might be forced to disable banning based on duplicate title keys since they would have no reliable way to ban without effecting legitimate consumers. Sidenote: My worry is really about the Switch 2 and if my old games will work on the Switch 2 and if this new backup will effect the backwards compatibility and if this banning will extend to the Switch 2. WORSE case is Nintendo drops all physical media from the Switch 2. Gosh I hope not. I like to own all my games so I can sell/buy/trade. One you go digital your rights evaporate on some levels.
Must be a real NERD if you go on a travel and sit there playing NINTENDO games while everyone else is partying and embracing the scenery. Why TF would I waste my time playing that many video games? Just go live in cave and be a hermit with your precious games.
@@OkiDingoPlus how many games can you realistically beat while traveling? I usually just bring one RPG and a random action game in case I get bored of the RPG temporarily.
this cart may have inadvertently helped Nintendo sell brand new games. If people start getting banned for playing pre owned games, then the only way they'll be able to buy games will be either through Nintendo digitally or by buying a brand new copy that Nintendo get paid for. Nintendo (and all devs) don't like the pre owned market as they get no money for re-sold games, so this could end up damaging that market
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game Complete edition is so good, i recently got it on steam for about 5$ CAD. I loved it, and it is very truthful to the original comic, albeit having no dialogue or quite good cutscenes, the gameplay is good
If it weren't for the inconvenience of switching games, this would be a great solution for modded Switch consoles to have extra space. Having a 1TB or 1.5TB SD card, plus a 1TB MIG Switch, sounds sweet.
Im SEVERLY worried about the used game market, now i have to adk the seller if they use a mig switch or even know what it is. Hopefully i dont need to and this thing doesnt go to main stream. I really rather buy used games, cuz im broke, but now this makes me fear alot. Like said earlier, hope this doesnt go to mainstream
@Playerz714 if the mig switch goes mainstream into the public, that's when I'll be worried because if it does people will think, "oh I can dump my own game and then I can sell my main one" which is why I'd ask the seller if they use the mig switch or not. Tho if it doesn't go big, I'll be fine
Again most people are not going to be dumping their games lol you think people are not just going to go online and download switch roms? It doesnt help you have to pay aan extra $60 for unreleased dumper yet@@THETECHFROMJIMNIM
Great job on the video Jeff. U nailed it with pretty much everything. One thing I will note is that the migswitch does not run at the same speed as the original game cart. This was done in my video and compared across multiple Nintendo Switch consoles. The migswitch always performed slower. This could be used by Nintendo as a detection method. Just my two cents tho. Would love to have you on my podcast to discuss the migswitch!!
This is actually good it reminds me of the old memory cards for PlayStation to backup you game progress, but if Nintendo would allow creating that, is not a complete loss, because by showing proof of purchase, can do a good result in backing up for those who enjoy their games with Nintendo, as long they show proven of buying the game shouldn't be a problem, I want one to save all the games I own and being able to play without switching cartridges is a win for the consumer and the company and for those who are capable of doing that can get paid as long the person has bought their games to be added to their own safe card is actually a win win 😅 if only i knew anyone near me a would go in a blink of an eye to get my games to be installed 😢 if only there was a way near me.
I did buy one along with the dumper. Mainly for 2 reasons. 1. Dumping my roms so I can play on other devices or play mods (CURRENTLY KAPUT) 2. Potentially playing my Switch library on the future Switch 2 without wasting the cartridge slot or storage space. First one is obviously defunct but the second I hope will prove useful. For mods I plan on sending in my switch and backing up my digital copies of games because yes I have bought some of my switch games twice (Mostly 1st party) and plan on bolstering my physical versions overtime as prices go down.
in Canada each game is 70$... EACH GAME. even if this was 100$ it would be worth it. considering that the Mig has only 2$ worth of electronics inside it could be sold for 20$ and still make a huge profit.
Subscribed, ty for the vid. My library consists of over 200 carts and I organize them in logical clumps inside a book that keeps them all together, this book is so valuable I don't let my kids look at it. I'm like a damn librarian tryin to keep track of my precious. My plan is to buy 10-15 micro sd cards (16-32gb) and consolidate those "clumps" into backup cards. The kids games go all on one sd, and I feel ok letting their asses go wild on their own systems. I ordered the combo on the first of the year from moddedhardware, hopefully my time is near.
Given the fact that this essentially has created used game "mine bombs" uh I hate this thing. They were so focused on whether or not they could. They didnt stop to think if they should. And ontop of all this nintendo probably sees this as an absolute win. Now a good portion of folks are probably paranoid and now that garuntees more folks will be buying new games instead of used. Nintendo already doesn't loke the used game market so this only helps them out.
This might be a dumb question for yall but why not just buy the online version instead of game cartridge to avoid this whole situation? Is there a difference between the 2 versions?
As someone who has been on these seven seas for over 10 years, now, I can say for sure that my initial take on this MiG cart was that it was a glorified storage system just as you pointed out lol. Anyone who is worth their salt in the piracy community knows good and well that the newer consoles have much more sophisticated methods of detecting false/duplicated copies of games. Tbh this has been a thing since, even, the last generation and, potentially, some of the consoles from the generation prior. It all comes back to one thing: a check system. In other words is there a system looking at you and identifying your game's license. Steam does this wholesale! They are very specific serialized numbers that are supposed to be checked in as unique. A duplicate appearance will flag this and an event will occur as a result 99.99% of the time = most likely a ban is coming your way. In order for anyone to, realistically, consider the MiG an actual boon, they would have to wait for the Switch online servers to be closed down in favor of the newer consoles persistent online servers which, as Nintendo is famously known for, can happen as soon as 4 years after console departure or 10 years after generational departure depending on whether the console is a series or a singularity. (That is, wii/wii u to Nintendo Switch followed by 3DS closing a few years afterwards) Once that is achieved this will certainly be a great idea that pirates of that time will, surely, take advantage of. Removing myself from the pirate talk, it is not as if I also do not pay for my games as well so it certainly is a good way of having all of your games in one space so you don't have to rummage through your 3ft stack of games and, eventually, damaging your components (even if the only way to switch between games seems counterintuitive for this lol). Also, there's the component of saving all of that native console storage for saves and dlc! Let's not even mention the ability to have physical backups to games YOU paid for. I very much DISLIKE the idea of piracy being looked down upon as stealing when they, themselves, have been stealing these titles away from us for years with the increase in games being online "Games as a service" or being digital release only, only to be trapped forever, possibly unplayable... forever. I recently went on a HUGE PCSX and PCS2 binge to satisfy some nostalgia for some old lost titles I will never get my hands on unless I have huge loads of money. Something like this makes it so much easier for all of us to feel secure about our purchase(s). HUGE deal for the practical user who isn't thinking of using this for anything malicious! (or downright idiotic, really, seeing as risking a ban to your own switch is like fumbling the ENTIRE bag for no reason) Good video, sub earned ty sir :)
You're not fooling me. I know exactly why you have 4 copies of the game. So you can have different seasons and hemispheres in the game so you can catch all the bugs and fish and have access to literally all the exclusive items in the game. Worth it.
Draw back for this is for when people would sell their original copy and forget they have it on the flashcart only to then end up getting their Switch banned because the both the original and backup would be played at the same time.
this has been a very awesome and informative video and I’m definitely gonna be buying one of these and taking a look but yeah for anybody who doesn’t care about playing online you can actually just disconnect the antenna instead of airplane mode
I have a cousin who this is perfect for. I can’t afford new games for him, but if I could dump my current library then he could play them forever on Airplane Mode (no interest in Online) I’d have a legitimate reason to buy used games from GameStop and I would ensure that there’s no risk to other consumers or him.
I might've missed this, so I wanted to bring it up in the comments. You mentioned earlier on in the video that the dumper they were selling was not a good one to use, or something along those lines. Could you elaborate more on what you meant by that? My original intention for buying the combo was to be able to dump my physical game files to run on Yuzu or another Switch Emulator without having to go through the process of modding my switch. Being able to run the games all on one cart was just a bonus to me. Although now I'm concerned that this won't work like I had thought.
I see the benefits to having this. I have a somewhat substantial collection of hard copy games. I also have tons of digital purchases as well. With the implied cart capacities limitations of the factory game cards and the expense of replacement.... it makes sense for someone like me that travels extensively for work to buy one of these so I don't have to risk my collection. If it gets stolen I loose 2 microSDs, a switch and the MIG card..... VS a factory game, and probably the case and who knows how many games in there too (up to 8 game cards +1 in system). You can already see the advantages here. For a modder tho.... once this card get hacked by the community there won't be the need to 'hot swap' the card to change games. Also, if this sidesteps server authorizations for your owned games.... thats of benefit as well. Because what sense is having a portable system and having to check and recheck authentication to play a game you legitimately own. Thats gonna make all the world of difference!!!
I have seen people would be interested on this. For the physical gamer, I prefer using the actual physical games. But for those who are not interested in playing online, just MOD you console... or buy digital games. Its still cheaper buying digital games in the long run (until NINTENDO decided to close down the eShop).
I don't play online, mostly single player games with the occasional party game with friends and family all together on one switch. I'd be interested in getting this just to keep a larger number of games on me when traveling without carrying my who collection as individual cartridges, but I can't bring myself to pay that price. I'll just stick to picking a few games I want to play when going out.
I think sometime at the end of feb to early march which is about here! I believe! I’m excited to get the game dumper. Also this is weird timing with the (current) Nintendo vs yuzu situation. Hopefully this case gets dismissed…
as someone who owns a lot of physical switch games... I've always been envious of the people who bought digital copies off the eshop, and never need to switch cartridges. would love if nintendo would allow me to just save my copy to the switch for that same functionality. sadly, this flashcart might be the only alternative but I can't justify it. with the weird way of swapping between games, seems super annoying when you have 50+ you want to cycle through. plus, I play exclusively docked and don't want to get up every time. neat idea, but it's not quite "there yet" for me personally.
The fact that theres a chance to get banned just for buying an used game is truly scary. Edit: Dang i didnt think this was gonna get that much likes xD
I don’t think you realize how difficult it is to actually get your hands on a launch day switch. Maybe in your area it is relatively easy, but that isn’t really the case in my area. Most Nintendo Switches that have been manufactured at this point are later models that aren’t easy to mod, so for people to have access to a flash cart instead of going through the moded Switch hassle is a much more desirable thing. Also, looking at this from a pirate’s perspective, spending a little over $100 to have all the Nintendo Switch games you’d ever want is a pretty good deal and has probably driven many people to buy the MIG flash cart. If you never play your flash cart games online, then it really isn’t a big deal at all.
Hi, if you have 5 games on the card for example, and you cycle through it 5 times so that all games are displayed, can one not just use the menu to jump to any position? What would happen if we select game on position 3 for example?
IMPORTANT LESSON TO KEEP IN MIND....stop buying USED Switch games, unless it's from a trusted (non-techie especially) person who bought it themselves NEW originally. BE SAFE.
I'll give it 6 months before Nintendo hit the developers of the technology with a law suit. Now that I know this exists, I might buy one next year. It will be a good companion for when my Steamdeck is on charge. Isn't playing backup games ALL you want to use it for? Or were you planning on loading up homebrew emulators?
I like collecting Nintendo products (consoles and games), and this makes me very sad because buying used games is part of the hobby. With this, thanks to malicious people, buying a used game is a gamble on whether or not Nintendo punishes you for buying an original second-hand game. This sucks, it´s the downfall of collecting physical games👎
I was interested till I took a step back and realized…. they could improve upon this. I’m not a fan of having to continuously keep inserting and popping the MIG Switch cartridge, the reasons are as you stated. And now I’m worried about buying a used Switch game off of ebay. Although all of my games except Mario Kart 8 but I got it before the MIG released, are brand spanking new so Im not ENTIRELY worried but for anyone else, yeah. The only pro is backing up all your games into one cartridge and play those games from said cartridge. It’s useful but the method, ehhhh.
Imo, its best to just use the switch as is and then wait for the eshop to shut down in like 5 years time so then homebrew can get really easy and powerfull, like with the 3ds
After watching this i dont want the card anymore, there is no point for me, i once had a Jailbreaked switch. But now i got so many legit games that i have no use for anything else👍🏼
I have about 100 cartridges to backup for myself. One day, just like the Wii/U it will no longer be available, but in this case (even with the current Yuzu lawsuit), I'm just here to help preserve video games. 85% of video games would never have been able to be played again if not for archiving & pirates. Now in 10 years when its the end of the Switch 2 lifespan and the cart readers are as rare as Amiga 500 parts, I will still have my collection to share with my son. I'm not trying to advocate piracy but his copy of Guardians 3 no longer reads in consoles, now that game is dead and I'm forced to buy another cartridge. Archiving for preservation should not be a crime. Yes I get it, people need to make their money, but true retro gamers of all ages already know the deal for this device and it's a beautiful piece of technology for keeping video games for the generations to come ahead of us.
I have a question: Let’s say I have 2 games that I bought from steam and I want to play them on my Nintendo Switch . Can I put the games on the sd card and then play them directly on the switch,or do I need to hack my switch?
There is not going to be a ban issue for legit carts. Nintendo will not risk backlash, especially in Europe where actual consumer protection laws exist. Nintendo will wait until they have a reliable way to detect the MigSwitch, probably with challenge responses like what Microsoft did with the 360 for XGD3 games to combat flashed disc drives or with additional verification of the inserted cartridge if possible. Nintendo has known about cloning cart’s unique data ever since the Sky3DS flashcart came out on the 3DS and used unique cart data. Nobody was banned for 2nd hand games despite some being used with the Sky3DS.
I know this might not be a popular take on this thing, but I hope you can see where I'm coming from. Either way, thank you for hearing me out. :')

@@pi3.1415 that said, just keep it offline.
@@pi3.1415 Nintendo can ban you from using off-line games. Who cares about getting banned from their servers if you don’t play online Nintendo is a shitty ass company anyways
@@pi3.1415no it won’t 😂 maybe digital only games but even then I’m still not banned I was only banned twice once on Xbox 360 and once on ps3 but that was because I was doing some RTM on bo2 and GTA v but never on my switch or vita and even if it did they not my real accounts
Awesome video as always jeff
great video editing and elaboration. you do good my friend keep thriving in this community of yours :)
Great video! Although I'm genuinely curious as to how and why you got four copies of AC 😂
NEW DAMNIT JEFF.. WE WILL BE THERE NO MATTER WHAT
I have a feeling that this is just a beginning.
Great video, Jeff. I like that you considered the ethical implications.
Good video tho, really just commented to tell ya why lol
Yeah but it'd only work if you patched your switch with kip/sig patches (I think it's called that), so you'd be enabling pirate mode in order to play backups/homebrew, but with said patches you could just install them and be at the same risk of ban.
Over all what they decided on is the only thing that makes sense, I think if the card had like a capacitive button on it that'd make it far more useful, as it is switching games like this is just bad IMO.
"I can't really explain it because I already forgot"

Liked. Takes a lot of time editing videos and cutting out all the weird incoherent bollocks, so kudos to you ❤
The Unitek Dock station is perfect for Mig Switch. No need to constantly run down your card slot.
I just don't know what tech Nintendo uses to really ban*
2) If Nintendo WERE to band your console along with the other party (2 instances of the same game), just take them to small claims court and bring your copy of all your games and ask for damages and loss of use.
I'm a new viewer, and so far, i like what you have on your channel.
This would be great for travelling. Not gonna take 25 SWITCH games with me but I can take 1 MIG Cart.
Because 25 switch games will take up so much room 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️.
@@Kiefy6886 exactly!
Are you travelling or playing game outside?
this cart may have inadvertently helped Nintendo sell brand new games.
Having a 1TB or 1.5TB SD card, plus a 1TB MIG Switch, sounds sweet.
i find one at last so i dont have too constantly switch my switch cards out i cant find any in stock ugh my luck
This is actually a fantastic video. Thank you
What ever happen to other channel covering the mig switch? Haven't had any update on their channel lately. Did Nintendo bought them out?
Absolutely love your videos and i'm happy I came across your channel.
Most people are not dumping their own games so why are you worried

Thanks for the demo and info, have a great day
I did buy one along with the dumper. Mainly for 2 reasons.
1. Dumping my roms so I can play on other devices or play mods (CURRENTLY KAPUT)
Hey brother, did you know that your Kaput came from my german Kaputt ?
thank you jeff for doing what most dont!!
in Canada each game is 70$... EACH GAME.
even if this was 100$ it would be worth it. considering that the Mig has only 2$ worth of electronics inside it could be sold for 20$ and still make a huge profit.
Thank you for being honest and upfront.
Its cheaper and easier with atmosphere IMO, but the new MIG v2 is pretty nice with the button to switch titles, and the other clone carts out there.
Great video! Thank you for the information. I was so confused about it now I know better.
In the end I would only buy it for piracy and that doesn't work because of the certification thang so going to skip for now
Buy used games at GameStop and return the suckers once you dump 😂
Tf you mean 😂 it doesn’t work
This might be a dumb question for yall but why not just buy the online version instead of game cartridge to avoid this whole situation? Is there a difference between the 2 versions?
*if youre only using this card to rip games you already own
As someone who has been on these seven seas for over 10 years, now, I can say for sure that my initial take on this MiG cart was that it was a glorified storage system just as you pointed out lol.
Voice is professional 👌 Thats really cool i like your content
All difficult things have their origin in that which is easy, and great things in that which is small.
I aspire to be able to get on camera and speak so fluent as you do.
I'm waiting to see what else comes out and if Nintendo starts banning. Super excited to get one.
I have a cousin who this is perfect for.
I can’t afford new games for him, but if I could dump my current library then he could play them forever on Airplane Mode (no interest in Online)
I’d have a legitimate reason to buy used games from GameStop and I would ensure that there’s no risk to other consumers or him.
Hey great video! I'm new here so you got yourself a sub good sir.
Keep up the great work.
man i love your vids, keep it up
I have seen people would be interested on this. For the physical gamer, I prefer using the actual physical games. But for those who are not interested in playing online, just MOD you console... or buy digital games. Its still cheaper buying digital games in the long run (until NINTENDO decided to close down the eShop).
Loving your videos man. Great coverage. 😊 Off topic: Is that 14 Pro or 15 Pro?
I don't play online, mostly single player games with the occasional party game with friends and family all together on one switch. I'd be interested in getting this just to keep a larger number of games on me when traveling without carrying my who collection as individual cartridges, but I can't bring myself to pay that price. I'll just stick to picking a few games I want to play when going out.
When's the release date? It's still pre-order on the site.
I think sometime at the end of feb to early march which is about here! I believe! I’m excited to get the game dumper. Also this is weird timing with the (current) Nintendo vs yuzu situation. Hopefully this case gets dismissed…
as someone who owns a lot of physical switch games... I've always been envious of the people who bought digital copies off the eshop, and never need to switch cartridges. would love if nintendo would allow me to just save my copy to the switch for that same functionality. sadly, this flashcart might be the only alternative but I can't justify it. with the weird way of swapping between games, seems super annoying when you have 50+ you want to cycle through. plus, I play exclusively docked and don't want to get up every time. neat idea, but it's not quite "there yet" for me personally.
wake up, dammit jeff just uploaded a new video

To be happy is to be able to become aware of oneself without fright.
The fact that only RUclipsrs are getting there order is crazy

Silly question please, can i play with it switch games downloaded from the internet?
loved your vid,I already paid for the mig and the dumper,I want to leave my games at home SAFE,LOL
Taking the cartridge in and out to cycle through games is exactly 1:1 with reality if you aren't boosting the games lol.
Hi, if you have 5 games on the card for example, and you cycle through it 5 times so that all games are displayed, can one not just use the menu to jump to any position?
What would happen if we select game on position 3 for example?
It would ask you to insert the game card, same as any other cartridge
Can you put a video on your discord on how to put emulators as in ps1 ,ps2 , gameboys on the card ??
WE CAN MAKE MINECRAFT STORY MODE 1 & 2 PACKS NOW WITH BOTH GAMES TOGETHER FINALLY!!!
The thought that i could get banned over something ive had no part in makes me feel a bit sick
IMPORTANT LESSON TO KEEP IN MIND....stop buying USED Switch games, unless it's from a trusted (non-techie especially) person who bought it themselves NEW originally. BE SAFE.
You can just pirate directly into the switch so why?
Uh dude simple so people don’t have to mod their switch
@@lazereyewolf9553 it's better to mod since you can costumise the switch more but you can get banned eitherway

If i ever get a switch i think its best if i get brand new games out if the box, unopened and never used giving what i just learned today
Or..just mod it/buy it modded.
How would a ripped physical copy get someone banned?
nice content both the video and sponsor
You could just find a backup someone put on the internet 😂
Ngl shit like this is why we can never have backwards compatibility again
That dock looks awesome but I’ve heard non original dock can brick your switch
I did wanna buy it until you pointed out that you had to remove the card every time you wanted to change games 🤬
