Saw a comment that pretty much summarized why she fears this in a past vtuber/idol drama thread, "People don't like getting NTRered in their parasocial relationships."
Really depends on your fanbase, I suspect KFP is Comedihen first, Idol second so she should be fine. Also western audience doesn't really care for "pure" image for their idols.
this idol culture stuff is more of a japan thing i think, but it's not that different in the west, it also happens to some twitch streamers (not vtubers)
some weirdos are really dumb and think they're their girlfriends now that he's given her some donations/superchats
The amount of donations despite lower number of views and subs makes me believe KFP is actually in a very strong parasocial relationship. However, given Kiara's outspoken personality and her European viewers, I suspect the KFP is more receptive to the idea of woman being independent.

That's a little odd to me.
The people who said no are really showing their true intentions as they obviously view these VTubers in a sexual way and not in a entertainment sort of way, it's really quite sad.
Sad she has to worry about Gachikois to this extent. KFP isn't like that though. We just wanna have fun, gender doesn't matter. She doesn't belong to us, nor is she our girlfriend or anything weird like that. I talk to women and have had girlfriends and all that; we're human. I hope she knows that we're not those weird, idol fans.
I think she's scared because some guys who interacted with holo girls before received a certain amount of hate and the girls themselves lost a lot of gachikoi and their memberships :/
I hope it doesn't happen when she collabs with a guy...
@@DANTEclipper I do understand the business side of it though. It's best not to do anything that'd incur a negative profit, but I hope they don't let the Gachikois run the show and that the girls can still have fun and the guys don't receive hate 🙏

Looks like Calli's opinion has reached Tenchou. Overseas bros are open to these kind of things. Let's leave the toxic Idol Culture somewhere else and collab with whoever who wants it and honestly, Holostars are so Seiso that Niji girls always 18+tease them and laugh at them on how they react. Roberu was so formal collabing with Bae and Ollie with Maximum care. Holostars deserve the support they deserve. And now with the upcoming Holostars EN, this will be official for the EN girls. Im not sure about the JP girls tho esp Noel since she already said she avoids the Holostars respectfully.
the "idol culture" is why i couldn't get into Hololive before there was an EN group.
Coco may have been the gateway/introduction but the JP bros can be damned crazy at times, it tends to severely limit what our dearest JP comedians can so at times and even the EN ladies are cautious because of the multi-cultural audience watching.
Then again i can't really watch most streamers or lets-plays for very long either (never for games I have backlogged and mostly for the more freeform games otherwise), so i'm an outlier for most of this.
Vtubers are my catcvhup-TV saturday night variety show, as long as the guest's not obnoxiously LOUD im mostly chill with it (there's a few known ppl I can't watch because their persona is simply "shout and be loud").

Yeah there was a weird thing, maybe still is in some cases, about this stigma with the girls interacting with the boys in Hololive. I find it weird, more than half their fanbases must be doods.
Why does it have to be sponsored. If Kiara had a guest on her stream, and it was a good time, who cares what gender the guest is? I guess she is worried/shy
Actually, the amount of people who don't like the idea of "their girls" collabing with men is pretty huge, so I think she said that about being sponsored as a sort of excuse, idk...
I made a poll about this when I posted the video and some people actually voted(don't want) and explained why they don't want her to collaborate with the guys...
