her composition for a casual game was actually crazy, Trebuchet to attack from range and destroy castle and walls. elephants for front line to kill, with archers to kill the pikemen that counter elephants
Fun collab. Kiara's idea of building castles near the walls of the bases is a good one but she was being way too cocky about being able to build more given how heavy the cost is (650 stone) and how fast they were being destroyed. Kronii's entire downfall was building that Wonder instead of a military because she had the best economy in the early game with the secondary issue of not noticing how her lumber camp had depleted the wood by the wall and left an opening which Kiara capitalized on. If there were no openings then Kiara would've had to launch an attack on the walls and both Kronii and Moona would've had more time to fight back. Fauna, well, pretty early on once she had access to elephants just decided she'd make a lot of elephants. She reached Imperial age first so she was getting trebuchets ready quickly, too, and she kept a good eye on her economy. Unfortunately a bit of salt from Kiara, Reine, and Kronii; Kiara being annoyed at Kronii and Moona for not resigning I can kind of understand after the second time they destroyed her town center _and_ had pretty much destroyed all of Moona's things then, too (if not for them hanging on, though, we never would've gotten multiple walls for Fauna's elephants to break through, though). Reine was claiming that chat "snitched" when Fauna attacked her before she was ready (but Fauna was already planning to attack after noticing that first castle Reine had placed between their walls and at that point in time she'd just destroyed most of Kiara AND Reine's army). I do want to see what a no-chat version will be like but I also hope they do a map that's more mixed in nature next time so players can use their navies, too, or seeing how they'd do on an open map. Since Moona was playing as Vikings one of her unique units couldn't really be used on this map.
Elephant are expensive and taking so much time to train, it was their fault to let Persia civ build so many elephant for end game but yeah, fauna riding the Flow of war too well.
They did sound a bit salty but I don’t think it was due to the elephants. They probably thought Fauna was using chat intel to attack. That’s why the “no chat” rematch will happen. Them losing to faunas elephants are purely their own fault considering she essentially soloed them.

Forgivable for new players who can't tell when they have already lost, of course.
Very fun to see a casual game of new players play AoE2. im 100% certain that orange and teal would win if green did not pick Persians. @@JustASuscriber not when a horde of elephants are fully upgraded with trample, they melt fast. Blob of upgraded catapults can one shot them. Hand cannoneers do great damage and you can kite them. "I don't like being aggressive" says the person who built a castle a few yards from another player's walls lol that s like building a city close enough to someone's capital that you can build an encampment in attack range of thekr capital in civ
i guess they're unfamiliar with the game. but you're right - you forward castle me, you get slapped😂
Where Im from we call that Helsingborg and Helsingør….
just to get it repeatedly destoryed
@penileymajorey7174take a breather buddy. I guarantee you, its not that serious
@penileymajorey7174 what the hell are you yapping about
Pro Tip: Elephants are slow and the persians don't get heresy tech. If you build monks, those war elephants will be returning to sender.
Yeah I specifically told Kronii several times that monks counter elephants and to create monks but she ignored me lol. She could have won if she just listened to my advice.
They didn't have the micro for monks. Kiara built a few, but she tasked them all to one elephant so she only converted one. Halb spam would have been best but they didn't build enough production buildings to be able to stop a mass of elephants
but if you have Archery support you can easy snipe monk and this be fail
Kiara tried the monk strat but didn't manage to use them because of micromanagement
@@arnargrande1889 bruh you don't have a direct hotline to Kronii, chat flies past so fast she likely never saw your message. And why do you watch other people play games if you just want them to do what you would do.
Imagine being a villager seeing hundreds of elephants walking *menacingly* towards your city with a plant leading it
"Ya, ya, ya!" It was Moona who whispered those toxic words that poisoned Kronii's brain! If she had said no...there wouldn't be any Rumbling.
Moona is like the Evil Advisor that actually working with the enemy
@@zikriflanery7030 One word is all it takes to destroy a whole civilization.
Such evil.
Tatakae...
Tatakae, Kiara...
Tatakae....
Tatakae, Kronii.....
Tbh I feel like they still wouldn't figure out how to counter the elephants until it's too late. I guess if it wasn't for the early Kiara on Kronii aggression they could've banded together and won against Fauna through sheer numbers
@@MrCh0o Nah, Kiara was bad at multitasking. She takes too long to raise an army and then when she attack she stop training.
Meanwhile Fauna's Castle, archery and TC never stop producing units.
If you watch Fauna vod by the time Kiara attack Kronii, Fauna already have an army of elephants and trebs. While Kiara only have a handful of Teuton knights. She can't rush Fauna alone Fauna Macro game was good
The teams on this were just perfect. Kronii and Moona are just inherently scary on paper and Kronii going for early wonder makes everyone panic. Kiara is very direct and reacts fast with Reine being supportive and down for anything. Then Fauna and Anya being the literal "little guys" who are very lost but with the power of friendship (and a massive elephant army) overcomes adversity and conquers.
fauna being all siege units and anya being all cavalry and archers is a powerful alliance
Anya doesn't get enough credit for her support because the elephant horde was too damn funny.
Kronii: let's start building wonder so we can win
Meanwhile fauna
Fauna: hehe elephants go!
Watching Fauna and Anya giggle their way to victory was very funny.
Fauna always cracks me up because she’s so good at everything but she completely underplays how good she is.
"Big Mom" Fauna with her army of nature, babies don't have a chance
Fauna’s a Yonko?
I just marvel at the tactical acumen by Fauna, of sending one fake-out trebuchet ahead of the main battlegroup
Everyone: *busy building their kingdoms*
Fauna: Needs more Elephants!
AI: Require more additional Elephants
her composition for a casual game was actually crazy, Trebuchet to attack from range and destroy castle and walls. elephants for front line to kill, with archers to kill the pikemen that counter elephants
Lmao bread and butter approach worked wonders for her. Why sweat when you can keep it simple? 😎 Wp elephants. Gosh i love Persian civ in aoe 2.
So... How quick until someone redraws the rumbling scene but it's an horde of Elephants with a giant Fauna behind them. 😂
Just because of the ending, this stream should be counted as a HOLOSALT episode
Anya wins by doing nothing , the best strategist 😂
To be fair, if Fauna was Leonidas with the Spartans, Anya was the Arcadian and Helot support.
@@AxleTradewher thespians ;-;
Fauna: "Your Uno bullshit powers can't save you this time, Warden of Time."
Kiara: Oh! Is Fauna helping us?
(One Fauna's trebuchet turn towards Kiara's castle and throw one rock)
Kiara: Oh...
Fauna really went "I am The Swarm... ...The Swarm *hungers."* For this match.
Since Moona was playing as Vikings one of her unique units couldn't really be used on this map.
on that day, mankind recieved a grim reminder
I bet they were kinda salty about fauna's elephants. They barely talked about it during the discussion at the end of the stream. 😂
They def sound salty, lol
Elephant are expensive and taking so much time to train, it was their fault to let Persia civ build so many elephant for end game but yeah, fauna riding the Flow of war too well.
They did sound a bit salty but I don’t think it was due to the elephants. They probably thought Fauna was using chat intel to attack. That’s why the “no chat” rematch will happen. Them losing to faunas elephants are purely their own fault considering she essentially soloed them.
what can i say. skill issue😅
Anya’s strategy of letting them fight eachother combined with Fauna’s army building of super high tier units was a very good strategy.
Other fans- We will fight our own holobros and sisters
Saplings- HUA HUA HUA HUA MOAR ELEPHANTS MOAR DAMAGE
Fauna be like "lel lets build more chunky bois". Probably the best counter of elephants its an army of priests to wololol the chunky ones.
Only if they are good enough to microcontrol the monks to wololo each elephant...
as an RTS fan there's nothing better than seeing people who know barely anything just throwing stuff around and seeing what happens, it's so silly and fun
Kronii: "Wait, Kiara is dead!? If that's the case, I can restore my castle!!"
Fauna: _The quakes of a million marching elephant feet_ "Konfaunaaa~"
5:08 Hearing kiara angrily teuton warms this teuton main's heart.
It's funny because Kiara and Reine could have won if instead of building castles they started spamming bombard towers. Still, fun game.
If they have no care for gold, then it works tbh. I am usually more of a castle guy
@penileymajorey7174it's not that serious
@penileymajorey7174
>rage quit
It was proper etiquette to resign. Her team had no realistic opportunity to make a comeback at this point, continuing the game would have been just delaying the inevitable and wasting everyone's time.
If anything, Kronii and Moona were in the wrong for not resigning first. Players who keep prolonging a lost match until the very last builder is hunted down are despised by the RTS community, it's a show of poor sportsmanship. Forgivable for new players who can't tell when they have already lost, of course.
Fauna has some trebuchet. The true answer is raiding Fauna base directly with heavy calvary and ram
"Should I start building a wonder?" Historians agree this was the inciting moment of the great Rumbling of 2023.
"they rolled out too much" is one of the all time fauna quotes
Very fun to see a casual game of new players play AoE2. im 100% certain that orange and teal would win if green did not pick Persians. Mass elephants with trample break somewhat the basic rock, paper, scissors counters of units and just melt melee units in general.
Other than monks that can be hard to use properly when new, a blob of upgraded catapults or hand cannoneers works wonders to counter elephants.
Casual games are the best. Especially some strat are bad and good at the same time.
Remember Blue Coffee?
Nah, mass halbs will still destroy elephants, you'll run out of gold but they'll never run out of food.
mass scorpians work well against elephants too. Just have to have units in front of them to slow the elephants down
@@JustASuscriber not when a horde of elephants are fully upgraded with trample, they melt fast.
Blob of upgraded catapults can one shot them. Hand cannoneers do great damage and you can kite them.
If you don't have gold in this kind of scenario to counter and not invested in right tech.
You are pretty much GG at that point.
@@adahepper2665 Nope, halbs still do well enough, you just need to not mass them into a gate and not have like 10 of them all clumped together. You also need more than 2 barracks's. If you really need to use your gold for anything, get some monks.
I like how Fauna is like just holding Nemu and watching the whole time

Little did we knew, that during her Zoo Planet stream Fauna was developping bio weapons.
Oh, its just nature....

*and many elephants*
Watching Fauna's stream I knew I was going to have fun watching the re-enactment of 'The Rumbling'.
Kronii: builds wonder.
Fauna: commence trampling.
Fauna: COMING FOR UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!
"Konfauna, subjects of Ymir. My name is Ceres Fauna."
Fauna got from just scouting to just conquer the world
I remember playing aoe2 in my potato PC when i still a kid, i built so many bombard tower so that everyone have hard time to attack me while i built my army
For me, this legendary stream seemingly came out of no where, and I'm glad I was able to watch it live!
Fauna: Hear me Seedlings, My name is Fauna Ceres. From here on you are all free, and I will start the rumbling. I will not stop until all humanity outside the walls are annihilated.
building that castle was a truly evil move. never considered using them offensively before

My dad's entire defense is him building turrets near enemy workers and castles near enemy barracks lol
@@water-poweredmachine8291 your father is a menace to society
@@syrusalder7795 I recently learned his playstyle is actually a viable strategy even in pro play. Was astonished that he invented it way back in the days of AoE 1
Aggressive castle and tower dumping is actually quite a viable strategy in higher tier matches. Can be very annoying though when one suddenly appears just in the edge of your base when you're just coming out of the Feudal Age...
You only build a wonder if you have a strong army to defend it during construction and after. It’s a death sentence otherwise since everyone will attack.
And even then... Only as a final resort...
0:52 - Fauna shows her true self (nature is savage and survival oriented) and Anya gave her better advice than Moona did to Kronii.
BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD, SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE, AND ELEPHANTS FOR ECCENTRICITY
Fauna had no chill. She obtained a zerg and showed no mercy. Straight for the jugular. One went down and she was on to the next.
This wasn't a war. It was a massacre.
