@gaminggeek when using your slim floors. The tabs on it only allow the walls to slide onto the narrower top part of them. Leaving a small game between the wall and the floor I don't see this issue in any pictures. Is this a change with the updated HQ board from dragon's rest or is it a print setting (the change seem much to big to be over extrusion. So far I've printed all the edge pieces before I printed all the walls and doors. And it seems the problem nay be even worse with some fireplace and dor pieces that won't fit on the pegs due to their different half circle hold for the peg. Is the walls now completely incompatible with the slim floor and I should ditch it for the regular floor and double walls between some rooms?
Hmmm... I think this is a question you should ask in the Dragon's Rest Discord community. More knowledgeable folks might be able to answer better than I can. But in the least, you could redesign the pegs to be smaller as needed, although that would be a pain to replace every single peg in software.
Has anyone played HeroQuest much on the Dragon's Rest board? There's some pieces missing which you'll only notice when playing a few quests. The issue is with the corners, when you have doors in the corners where the L corner piece is, and one of the walls is 3/4 length. There needs to be a couple of corner + door and corner + secret door, as well as a straight 1 3/4 wall.
You should be able to find corner walls with doors in the walls folders. Drop me a message on the Discord discord.gg/a6swKdK if you want to clarify where the other areas are and I'll get something made to fit if it's missing, Ian :)

So after all the iterations that Dragons Rest has made, is this still the best in your opinion because of the versatility? I’m considering printing this for my kids for Xmas and I’m really torn between the non-magnetized game board from DR and the magnetized one from DR. That being said I have a couple of questions if you don’t mind: 1) What is the overall size of your version of the HQ board? 2) As far as the 5mm ball magnets, I see a bunch of ball magnet “toys” on Amazon… will those work if I go the magnetized route? Thanks Gaming Geek. Appreciate your content greatly!
For ultimate versatility, I do think the magnetized version is the best but I will tell you that it is extremely difficult to buy 5mm ball magnets now due to the US saying they are hazards for kids swallowing them. If you are making the board exclusively for HQ, I would go the cheaper route and print the pre-made version with no magnets and the walls slotting in the pegs. Only do the magnets if you plan on creating other dungeons.
I adore the colors on this board - I appreciate how much board games design schemes work to show you that they're fun. Thanks for the suggestions on other dungeon crawlers, I love the idea of heroquest but also wouldn't want to play it.
Awesome video as always, Question : How do you keep the map from scrolling when you try to move the hero's around the board in the app. Its driving us crazy and adding extra time to the game play , not in a good way. Thanks, Ron.
That 1st goblin rolled a shield so it blocked the attack? You then moved the dwarf, 1 action, opened the door 2nd action, then moved him away which would of been a 3rd action?

You have the magnetized option (which requires you to print clips that will hold the 5mm ball magnet, which I alternatively use two 4x2mm barrel magnets instead) or the same floor but no clip printed.
