Magic, MJ, Kareem and Bird=Basketball's Mount Rushmore. Nobody else is on that tier, though Jokic and Doncic may soon be forcing themselves into the conversation.

@@Weezyfan0306 Luka has done a lot, he's an incredible player, but he's no where near those guys, including Jokic. He needs to do a lot to catch Jokic alone. He's extremely talented and is in the finals as I type this, although not a good favorite to win. I have no doubt in an amazing career for Luka. If he had a better team he would be getting even more credit right now.

Not really true always, but Jordan had to pull out so many big plays just to give the Bulls a chance. One of Jordans best games against the Celtics where he had 42 and 8 steals resulted in a win so there's that

80's MJ vs Bird or Dominique were some of the most incredible and entertaining scoring duals in NBA history.
The word on Larry was always, "He can't run." "He can't jump." "He's too slow." So let's throw a bad back into that mix, as well. Yet with all those limitations, Bird always delivered the goods. 😃
No fights, no horse collar tackles, no close outs, just two stars that nobody could stop and everybody else doing the best they could.

@@PIP...33 Years of slander toward other players makes other NBA superstars and legends looked like they were 5 ppg and no stats while in reality, Bird Admiral Olajuwon Mailman Barkley etc all had better stats and years. Yes they average less ppg, but MJ cant even average double double once in life and they all are career with that feature. Last time i check better player is the one who can do more not just ppg and few deflections. Guards need to pass and steal just like centers need to block rebound. If MJ had 9 apg and 3 spg in career he would be great but his stats are on Bradley Beal level he does nothing more what Devin Booker couldnt do.

After watching this it makes Joker seem like a seven foot mix of Bird and McHale. Those over and under pivots in the low post, dancing in circles. Joker looks just like McHale when he does it.
Joker's post game is no where near McHale's. Kevin was the best post player all time, and no one is Larry Bird. You went too far. Joker is good, but lets slow down a bit.

I love both, love the Celtics, which is exactly how I know what I am saying when I make these comparisons. I've watched all three play, and there is no way you watch Joker and not see the similarity. At no point do I say he's better, only that they look alike doing it. Maybe you should slow down and read closely before replying.
@@IDontBuyIt50 I wasn't joking. Hakeem Olajuwon and Kevin Mchale are widely held as the two best "post" player's of all time. IMO, Kevin had a ton more moves the Hakeem. Joker is no where near either one of them when it comes to Post play. If you needed one player to score on the blocks no one would ever take Joker over Kevin McHale or Hakeem. Joker is a point guard that is labeled as a center. Go watch some video's and get back to me.

Exactly ! If you morphed Jokic with Luka you get Larry Bird. Though I will say after watching the Finals Luka needs to get in shape to play in June. None of the 3 are physical freaks - but Larry was always in great shape. Game 5 vs the Lakers in 84 shows you first hand how good of shape he was in. Bird didn't look like Kevin Willis or something but he was always in a the shape ! Maybe minus the beers :)
perfect example what Chamberlain talk on 8:03 MJ got cleared side with smaller 6'3 Dennis Johnson, McHale cant double team till he start to drive and its too late. This illegal zone defense allows MJ to score easy 7 times out of 10

Bird in his prime was a better passer and shooter, just a better team basketball player than Michael was. Over time Michael became a better basketball player, in part by watching Larry Bird. Michael was always the better athlete.
