      Charles tells like it is. In an another interview, Charles wanted to take harder classes at Auburn University. They told him “No, you might flunk. Then, you can’t play basketball anymore.” Charles says he’s fortunate to play in the NBA, but 90% of college basketball players won’t make it in the NBA. What type of education did they get in college? Charles says that without a college degree, life will be an uphill battle. That is so true.

    • @scimbrelo
      @scimbrelo 10 дней назад

      @@nicklubrino2606a lot of jobs have paid vacation, so if you wanted to make that argument, youd have to look at the average paid vacation amount for a job with similar requirements (bachelors degree+ certification at minimum, 50% have masters degree, etc) and then calculate the differential in both the vacation and annual salary.
      Median teacher salary in usa yearly is, rounded up- $63k. So if youre going to look into the concept in totality, rather than isolate one aspect, it's not really that big a deal.

The NBA went through a LOT to get to this point. 30 years in, Magic and Bird came along and raised the popularity in the USA. Michael took their baton and made it global. This is what kills me about some of the women of the WNBA and Caitlin Clark.
    When Larry Bird went into the NBA, the only thing the people playing wanted to know was: "can he play at our level?" Yes, it was about color, because most of them hadn't met a white guy who could play at that level. (Makes me hope that Angel Reese, who is competitive and not antagonistic, will make that leap with Ms. Clark.)
    Everyone always talks about "Magic and Larry." Sure, they were great and had two differing game styles. However, my favorite is still Larry Bird against Dominique Wilkins. That fourth quarter shoot-out was the best basketball game ever.

      He's 55 and from a small town in Georgia.
      I'm roughly his age, and grew up in a small town in Alabama, and though there weren't laws forbidding blacks from doing certain things, there was cultural norms that kinda prevented it.
      I'm white, and I remember going into town with my parents in the 1970's and there was certain diners and grocery stories that blacks didn't go to. They weren't forbidden by law, but it was just known that they couldn't go in there. If they did, they wouldn't be served.

    LeBron James is the BIGGEST NBA Western Conference Failure in NBA History - LeBron James: 2019 -> FAILED to make the NBA Playoffs, 2020 -> Asterisk BUBBLE Consolation Prize, 2021 -> LOST in the 1st Round, 2022 FAILED to make even the NBA PLAY-IN Tournament👀😅, 2023 SWEPT 4-0 in the Western Conference Finals, and 2024 Gentlemen’s SWEEP 4-1 in the 1st Round. Now we see why LeBron James went to 8 straight NBA Finals. Michael Jordan locked the GOAT Position at #1. Now ranking Kareem, Magic, Kobe, and Bird ahead of LeBron James sounds very logical. And yes, the basketball world is starting to rank Tim Duncan over LeBron James as well.🔥🔥🔥🍾🎈

    Even long-time LeBron James-feet worshipper, Kendrick Perkins is begging for 40-year-old LeBron James to give up his NBA Player-spotlight and finally retire already. But LeBron James refuses to retire because LeBron James is still chasing Michael Jordan for Jordan’s undisputed GOAT ranking. Michael Jordan has had the basketball GOAT position locked for at least 36 years, from 1988 to 2024 and counting. Michael Jordan has been the GOAT from at least AGE 25 to now AGE 61 AND COUNTING. How pathetic are you to be 40-years-old and still chasing Michael Jordan for the GOAT distinction??? Smh. Pathetic!!!!!!!
