Pool Exercises For Beginners: Lymphedema Exercises

- Pool exercise and swimming are the best types of lymphedema exercises. The water puts pressure on the body, similar to how a compression stocking or garment would. Exercising in the pool then gives compression while you work your muscle to pump the fluid. This will help manage lymphedema and decrease swelling. In this video, I share a beginner pool exercise routine that can be used for general exercise, or for those with lymphedema.

Great question! A doctor can with medical tests. Especially those who specializes in lymphedema. There are very few, but they exist!
