Lipedema Low Impact Cardio Exercise - 16 minutes for Lymphatic Health

  • Lipedema (or Lipoedema) is a chronic medical condition that causes increased fat tissue to build up and become swollen and inflamed. Lipedema affects 11% of women and can be painful and debilitating. Exercises for lipedema are best done with low impact and less strain on joints. In this video, I share a 16-minute cardio exercise workout for Lipedema and lymphatic health. It's a full-body routine for cardio and to get your heart rate up, but no jumping is involved.

      @@CancerRehabPT update! I've lost over 50 pounds doing this and the 15 min workout, arm workout, and other videos you have! Thank you again. Your demeaner is really encouraging and has helped me get started when I was so out of shape.     This was so good! Struggling to exercise with lipedema and this made me feel so good. Legs were challenging but your modifications helped me push through and appropriately challenge myself.

    Thank you very much for the lovely workout. I had a lumpectomy two months ago and just had my first chemotherapy session yesterday. Anything you recommend that I do please let me know.

      ​@@CancerRehabPTThank you very much 👍.please tell me can i walk in treadmill after doing this exercise because i am 30age and 1.62 m and 145kgs 😢 and a big anterior pelvic tilt lordosis i had 3 sezarien sergery and lipedema in the 3'rd level please i need your help with hope to god bless you 🙏

    Hello, I am 15 years old and I weigh 70 kg. And as far as I have noticed, we have started to have lipedema where one of the legs is a little different from the other leg. As well as the arms are a little like fat. In addition to the exercises that you gave us, what should we do? he mainly suggests me to eat. Should we consume a lot of water? You would really help me if you would answer me

    Thank you PT Kelly! This is a really good workout. I have only one observation: it's difficult to do the deep breathing/resist module only because I'm still panting from doing the jumping jacks (even the modified one - but I tend to do the full jumping jack) and it's near impossible to take a deep breath and resist the extended belly. It may be better to do a lower the heart rate minute THEN do the deep breath/resist module. Thanks overall - I was happy to discover your channel for the very helpful exercises. All the best! ~

    Thank you for these videos ....But please show us with a person who has lipedema.....You could do it with a group...very hard with a women who is obviously not suffering and is a size 0

    Mam..., is there any way to improve lymph drainage on head...? Any Speacial excercise or techniques??

    I have a shoulder injury I'm currently re-habing but I'm trying to find a gentle workout to help with lymphatic drainage. Will this workout still give me that benefit if I have to omit overhear arm work?

    I need to get rid of swelling I'm sick of waking up with a body I'm ashamed of. I'm disapointed I want my stomach flat. My doctors said it was okay to do exercises. I was also complaining about the swelling.
