Glad I could give you a smile with that Funko Pop, Pete. I know the market for them is gone, but that one truly is one of a kind.
I have a few hundred, I would say there is for sure an adjustment from the pre-covid levels but early collection(pre-covid) still has a good return.
This is going to be the most rare and valuable Funko Pop of them all!
That's freaking awesome
So cool!
It's very sad seeing people sell their relatives medals and memories, especially when they've fought through 2 world wars...
I was thinking the same thing. It must not be sentimental to them if they are selling it, so maybe they didn't have a good relationship with said relative?
@@koalatux5949or theyre broke and need money
I hope she GAVE those sentimental, personal, historical medals and such...😢
We all get forgotten dude
I am an Estate Liquidator and an Antique Dealer I struggled with this in the beginning but unfortunately family members just don’t want to keep these things anymore or rarely so the option is that they get thrown away. I feel better knowing that they will go to someone who will keep and appreciate them. Even if you sell to another dealer that’s where it ends up. So yes, it’s sad that the family doesn’t want these things but it’s better knowing that someone does.
I really respect the " I am not a Marine, I shouldn't wear it"... much respect!
Pity he didn't respect the guy selling it with a good price, wonder why he didn't reveal what it sold for 🤔
Same here!
Thats not an Autobahnpoilzei Jacket, every police unit had these when it got colder outside till the mid 2000 i guess. And thats an Bavarian police badge. (Im from Germany)
And very common too. Not rare at all on the used/surplus market. Pete did a nice favor for this man.
15:49 as a seller, you never want to say something like “I’d be happy with half of what I paid”, it’s an invitation for the buyer to lower.
as someone who has dealt with people their entire life, people selling things lie about what they paid for it. they will inflate the purchase price so the "half of what i paid" is just where they wanted to start anyway. buyers set the price, not the seller.
@@jeffer1101 Very good point that escapes many here in the comments section.
Exactly that person probably paid half of $400 for everything so when he said I'd like to get half he was obviously wanting double of what he paid
@@jeffer1101 yes, in a pawnshop setting the buyer has the upper hand certainly. My point was this kid was in way over his head. The guy with the leather was a much more experienced negotiator.
@@mixedmartialanarchist6469 I agree. I was just saying in general, regardless of what is for sale, the buyer sets the price of what a product or service is worth it for them to pay. Whether it be used DJ equipment, cars or real estate. The seller can ask whatever they want, but the buyer holds the cash to determine the final price.
That autobahn jacket is gonna sell for HUGE money
How much you thinking? My uncle has one the exact same but better condition
Pete letting the viewers know about his old school raving knowledge, love it!
timestamp plz?
Peter should solve crime on the sides.......
17:25 is that the real life Garth?
Sir. Thank you so much for respecting the US Marine corps items. JR/UK ex army.
Pete showed respect for the Marine Corps by not putting on the cap, which I truly appreciate. I'm not a Marine, just an old Army guy who thinks that any service deserves respect. Any WWI and WWII Marine Vet is a hero in my book and demands respect. Great job Pete!!
I would have gave this guy the $50 bucks just to see that stuff. Unreal the value people put on priceless stuff
I was thinking the exact same thing!
I have a feeling nobody just gave all that stuff to that guy. Who is going to give something like that away?
Your Funko PoP is nice! That was a very nice and unique gift.
I love this channel man, a good comfort set of videos to watch during down time. Thanks for all you do guys.
Guys like this biker always bring most interesting stuff
Bulova Accutron’s sell for $80-$100+ even not working for parts. Running will bring $150-$300 for the gold filled dress Watch style.
First? battery watch before Seiko I think not sure belova Hi vibration quotes ?
@@DainSmart-vm7pc First battery watch was made by Hamilton in 1957. Elvis was known to wear a Ventura by Hamilton electric watch from that era. I had one at one time that I found at an Estate sale. I paid a couple dollars for it and ended up selling it for $700.

The German jacket guy is really great - so reasonable. Hope we get to see him again 😎
True that, Stephen, he should audition for any movie like Inglorious Bastards….he already has the accent and presence….imo
the marine jacket is canvas, you'll sell that thing quick. some devil dog will come grab it up fast
Devil dog? excuse me? am just trying to go about my business and not fart on anyones head.... My Uncle Ned Fought in WW1 and WW2 and my Uncle Ned carried my pappys watch in his ass for over 5 years.
That funko pop is awesome Pete but I must say I figured they would make you a character eventually and well it turned out amazing now for honey and ruby to get one made of them !!
I like that the old guy suggested Pete look at what has been sold on EBay like Pete never thought of doing that.
THAT FUNKO POP!!! i love it! 🤣
23:00 ohh look at Honey being cute!!! And Ruby! love Ruby!
The absolute best negotiating tactic that I've learned from you Pete is, the elongated sigh followed by "Idk if I can even get that out of it, I don't want to be in it for more than...."
Don't underestimate the "Look.. what do you want to get out of this?" followed by clutching the chest as if having a heart attack when the seller gives a price
I would've loved to have bought that military collection. I love stuff that I can research and find more information about how they were acquired.
Maybe it's me but I thought the kid asked for weed not wii... lol
Same here 🤣😂
RIP Otto! He will be missed
Suggested name OTTO after Vid!
Very nice enjoyable videos you and your crew are putting out Pete. Keep up the good work. Tks
Also, just want to thank you for the phone ringing in the background... I have the same kind of ringer on my landline and every time I watch your videos and your phone rings, I quick look for my telephone... Only to figure out it's in your video and not my house LOL!
Love you guys! I still have a original Gameboy SP with some games. Cheers from Fredericksburg, VA!
I love watching your videos so normal unlike other pawn show. I just got a new kitty and named her honey, I’m glad your kids get so much attention. Do you leave her at night when you go home?
I still have my pair of technics 1200s with crates of old school lps....those were the days!!!!!
As a reality Tv editor I am impressed how (low key) professional this production is. Love it!
Maybe that says more about reality TV than it does about this channel.
Pete is always kind, truthful--a lovely man
Hey Peter if you didn’t know the plastic knives you have are considered “letter openers” they sell well in England where knives are basically illegal
This was a great video! Learned so much.
Peter at @10:41 once again he asked & no money 😂😂 Love it like you said all of time..
Once Again Another Great Show!!! Keep Up The Great Work Fellas!!
No Otto? Say it isn’t so ❤🎉
Good
Smile the camera is on!
Great buy Pete see u soon
I ALAWAYS go your way sometimes. Hahahah. Classic salesmanship.
Hey Peter. I really enjoy your channel. I noticed the metal detector in the background. How much are you asking? Jordan
Hey pete every time I watch your videos, that big white fishing pole by the cue sticks catches my eye what are you asking for it
I know one thing about you’re job it’s never boring it’s always interesting
I enjoy watching this guy. Entertaining and informative
Me too. I also like Apples. Sweet and full of flavour.
Why thank you ;) (pete’ secret account btw)
Yr uploads so addictive! Pets n wheelin’ dealin’. lol I bgt a ‘Wii’ recently to play HOTD Overkill. £30 England.
I love your videos!! You should make a T-shirt: “I’m gonna be honest with you.”
Pete is doing enough for us already, he does a lot for his community….so to now basically demand he make you shirts now is crazy….
Man, that biker guy looks great for 72 years old!
We need a place here like yours.
For me on the west coast, it's video games, mtg games, high end tools(Snap-on, Matco), Mexican pottery is hot right now. It does depend on the area you're in, but you also need to be flexible on your pricing. When the economy is stale, I move things cheaper and faster.
What kind of watch do you have on?
I’m just thinking it might be a good one because of the position you’re in?
Also, tell Otto I said hello. I hit the like button for the algorithm. ❤
The Czechoslovakian is a wild and crazy guy.
@28:57, Those plastic knives used to be advertised in the early 90’s, as “letter openers” for CIA and Special OPs folks.
I really enjoy this channel, and Pete's accent, but I digress.🐱🥰soft pets for lovely Honey kitty.
I miss Ruby upfront, she's been pushed to the side
Is there a delay from when you receive postcards until you show them on your videos? I sent a postcard from Pullman, WA a couple weeks ago roughly and I still haven't seen mine on any videos yet.
I use to have 8 boxes of lps when djing and 4 boxes of cd lol
Love your content!!

That cat is hilarious just laying there relaxing on the counter
love the Zippo's
I hope my company sends me back to Rosemont so I can come visit!
Pete,
when I win the vacation at your cabin. Because I know I'm a winner. Is there any lakes or rivers in the area that I can fish at and definitely how much does a out-of-state fishing license cost?
WE GREATLY APPRECIATE YOUR VIDEOS AND YOUR INSIGHTS ON RESALE EXPERTISE!!
A quick google search would've told that kid those CDJ1000s only play CDs. A little deeper would've told him a Serato box would allow them to work with a laptop.
The one larger plastic knife looks to be a hand to hand combat training blade, possibly the other two are meant for the same.
What does the coat go for from the Czech ?
Knives at the end are generally used for training purposes or knifes that resemble them. Godbless
Haven't seen my post card let. Unless I missed it. It was a Vintage Vegas one
He probably threw it out
I seen it
I miss Ruby upfront
It is rough resourcing right now. I’m doing ok with sourcing from online auctions.
22 minutes in & I see knives. Some nice ones too! Show them lol
That's jacket is cool! What did he say it was again?
Hi from Germany 🇩🇪
The 40/8 was for 8 horses and 40 men in a box car..👍
I thought he was talking about 40 acres and a mule
@@Pluralofvinylisvinylsyour actually incorrect….it stands for 8 horses & 40 in a match box car. I picked one of their hats for $15 at a garage sale
$100 for them USMC jackets not bad there like $220 from Bradford exchange themselves
that blue hat 40-8 was 40 men and 8 mules. They rode the trains in France to the front lines Small trainers that ran on the roads
Don’t think so their hats are different because I used to have one
and what's that beatiful red eagle doing on the cabinet's side

The WW2 items are pretty cool.
Peter, that WWI medals/memorabilia would be good to sell to a prop shop in Chicago. That way they could use it in films/videos. If you had an older war veteran hero in a story, having props like that is priceless.
He sold it in this video.
Those are not Props belong with a Family Member!

Great video 👍
Pete, I have to say that YOU are the reason why I subscribed, like, and share your videos. Your honesty and integrity when dealing with your business is amazing. That other shop from another State that "made it big" was not a shop I would do business with. You're a bigger "Star" in the pawn world to me. You're less than a year older than me, but I can see by your business practice and your honesty that we were raised by old school people who instilled those values into us. One of these days I hope to make it to your neck of the woods to do some old school haggling and meet you. Godspeed. Good things come to good people like you. You're not a charity, but you provide an honorable service.
Pete I would love that police leather jacket for £100, would like to know the size
Love the Pop Doll of you❤ Always look forward to your videos❤
The plastic knives are referred to as shanks in prison. It’s amazing what an inmate can make a weapon out of that could very easily kill someone.
That’s not true. Shanks can be made of anything - I’ve seen them made out of metal and even paper. 🤷♂️
@kiwe3546 that's what the OP just said... its amazing what Shanks can be made out of, you've just said the same thing! 😂
the jacket is good money, you should have worked with him a bit more
If they must be sold, intend to pass them to a collection, museum, or somewhere they will be seen and appreciated.
It breaks my heart seeing people trying to sell their relatives medals and memories... they should never be sold to any shops or stores, I say donating them to a museum if there's no one to pass them down to!!! I think that's really cool that someone made a 1 of a kind Funko Pop of yourself... I have always thought about a Funko Pop or a Lego Figure to be made of myself!!!
Constantly Shop Thrift Shops in San Diego Retired Navy always makes me sad items not with a Family Member!
Most museums would put them in storage or get rid of them. It’s better if it goes to a collector who will cherish it.
@@kiwe3546 Sad but true
Thanks
What are those at 23:46?
Do you still have USMC jackets?
Clothing stores/Manufactures sometimes have different fitting Clothes, than the other store. you would have to match the same item from the Manufacture. maybe you can match it some how to make sure it is not a fake!/Look alike!
I also, do not use Ebay as it is a big risk in my opinion for both the seller and the buyer!
Wow maybe you should've asked more for that WWI/WWII stuff!
