My 2 cents on your gorgeous emerald coat: it’s okay to have nice things. It’s okay to have something that leans more towards special than practical. It’s not a crazy purchase. ❤️
Keep the coat. You stroked it like a pet and you genuinely looked content 😂 But dont just keep it for special occasions...Life is too short and that coat deserves to be seen aaaaaaaall winter!

When you explain it really sounds like the coat is perfect, just pricey. But return the shoes, it sounds like you think they're cool, but they don't quite suit you.

Hey Lucy! Love watching your videos for both your personality and aesthetic (we have quite a similar style, I think). Regarding the coat: it's glorious, but I think you need to take into consideration how many of your clothes are patterned vs. solid color, because that leopard print will be quite hard to wear over some patterns. If most of the items you'd want to wear under that coat are solid or of a small/understated pattern, then I think it's still a good investment. Otherwise, it could be an issue. The color's amazing, though.

Hey, you should try Lucy and Yak! They're an amazing ethical clothing brand based in the UK and their trousers would be great for your body type because they're bigger in the hip area but still small at the waist so no need to size up. They're also very reasonably priced for ethical clothing and since it's based in the UK you avoid all the carbon dioxide that comes with ordering from somewhere like Everlane.

I'd recommend anyone to have a look at Lucy and Yak - amazing, eco friendly and beautiful clothes. Sent in biodegradable bags and some clothes are made of recycled plastic!!

And with the coat you can always sell it if it doesn’t work out in a couple of years, but I think you should keep it if you can’t find an alternative

Saw a girl wearing an emerald leopard coat a few months ago and thought it was absolutely gorgeous! Lovely purchase, and even though animal print has been a bit of a trend over the last maybe year and a half, I think that coat is going to last you a really long time!

LOVE the coat but if you do want an alternative I saw a gorgeous green fur coat in JOY for just over £100 - no leopard print but so so soft - had a google and it's called the LOUCHE WAINWRIGHT FAUX FUR COAT GREEN. Great video Lucy

Rokit is very expensive for the lack of quality and unique items. I really recommend going to Brick Lane indoor vintage market, there are loads of vendors and everything is hand sourced and fantastic quality.

Hey Lucy! Are you aware that Arket is a part of H&M just like & other stories? So by supporting those two brands, you also support H&M and its production. Please research this since its becoming more and more of a problem. Dont want to judge just wanted to let you know because it shocked me when I heard about this!
& other stories is owned by H&M too and she shops there a lot so i dont think she minds about Arket being owned by H&M either. also H&M is not the only bad fast fashion brand out there, Zara for example is one of the worst fast fashion brands, and she shops there too, so i dont think it matters to her :) no hate just pointing out!

Keep the coat. It's worth the money. Keep the trainers, you love them and can style them with your wardrobe.

I know everyone else has already said this, but I think you should keep the coat and get rid of the sneakers. The sneakers are like almost right, but not quite, you know? But the coat is gorgeous and not so overtly trendy that you couldn’t wear it basically forever. And you just seemed so in love with it.
I think you should keep the coat since it feels like a classic, plus whistles is like always chic/classy etc and not like fast fashion so likely is that you'll get a lot of wear out of it if it fits properly. I think you should return the trainers since you have a pair similarly. If you love the laces, you can just buy those style of laces elsewhere and put them on your other shoes... I feel like the chunky trainer thing will be out of fashion next year and we'll have moved onto the next thing....

The coat is something you can wear year on year, but those trainers are a fad item... keep the coat!
Personally, I'd say return the trainers. I feel like you could better use some chalk coloured shoes (and I'm also getting a bit bored by everyone wearing those chunky filas). I have a pair of 80's retro chalk Reeboks and they're so cool and go with everything. They look great with any colour and outfit and above all they're not as modern and in your face as bright white trainers. Maybe that's not at all what you're looking for, but it's just a tip 😅

I advise you to go to another tailor. This one did not do a good job, they’re supposed to do that without creating that seam in the waistband in the front. Or at least mine does. When in have things taken in, you literally can’t see the difference, he even puts the labels back in place.
