Saw Damn Yankees way back while they were touring for their first album....They put on an awesome show. Good to see them again even if it was just a one off get together.
I saw them when they opened up for Bad Company. That was a HUGE mistake on Bad Company's part. Damn Yankees were suppose to play for 45 minutes, and they played for 1.5 hours! It was great! Nothing better than a Damn Yankees, Ted Nugent, Styx, and Nightranger concert all rolled up into one. Oh yeah, and Bad Company was there too...lol.
Ted might be a little full of himself and a little too political for a lot of people, but he still can rock! Good to see the Yankees together once more
Doing the way they did...acoustic (sorta) almost made it dirtier and funkier. GREAT stuff. The guys really do seem to have fun whenever they're together, its not just an act. Hope this 2010 reunion might ignite something in the future -- a 3rd album, tour, ANYTHING!
@KevinFL Hey, he & Cartellone dropped in on Shaw/Blades who were pimping Taylor Guitars. They had an impromptu jam. They haven't played together in nearly 20 years. Enjoy it for what it was.
Leftists get waaayy too bend out of shape over Ted. Only think he's Right-wing on is guns and immigration. As far as social issues - he's not a homophobe and he's not a religious nut, he's not a pro-life advocate either. Conservatives like me have to endure the Left's politics to enjoy the music - so enjoy the music and lighten up.
TN needs to lay off the politics and racism, he wouldn't have half the problems he does. I have to ignore his right wing bullshit to enjoy his music, which is really great. He is so toxic due to his political extremism no one wants to play music with him any more.
+Caleb Bartlett Since about 1983 or so. Derek St. Holmes (Ted's lead vox) was one of the first artists to try out a PRS and he recruited Ted onto the bandwagon.
Gotta love Uncle Ted's music, even if you don't care for his politics. He can still rock!
I love these guys so much!!!!
"I'm sorry, you people are much to white for that [Stranglehold]"....god that was f'ing GREAT!!! *HAHAHAHA!!!*

Teddy can groove and has fun playing, you must admit, plus we know Shaw and Blades are great! What a cool jam.
Motor City Mad Man can Boogie with The Best 🎼💖

I saw "Sweaty Teddy" do this in 1974 @ Cal Jam .. much faster & louder back then. Damn Yankees need to start making music, again.

I've asked the Rock Gods for years to get them back for at least one last jam. Still waiting for my answer.

He has been a huge supporter of Gibsons for years.
