In the second half of the film a young boy takes on the role of the renowned military figure Lord Roberts, much to the pleasure of the spectators. The parade, organized to raise funds for nearby establishments, features this young "Lord 'Bobs'" atop a horse, adorned in impressive attire reminiscent of the 19th century hero. As the cameras capture his performance, the crowd eagerly joins in, urged on by the film makers to showcase their excitement for the benefit of the film.
