ATC so polite to each other, one of the pilots asked what was the traffic on the runway, and ATC said it was a fox, there's a possibility you hit it,I'm only wondering why the plane took off,I thought if a plane hit something they had to get inspected. A great video Thankyou VASAviation.
It should always be correct and the focus has to be on the job but at least something like "Wind XYZ at x, no animals in sight, RWY Y, cleared for takeoff" would have been cool^^
@ That plane isn't lazy, the fox was lazy for not realizing a gigantic, and very noticeable airplane was heading it's way and deciding it's first action was, "Oh, an enormous aircraft that has the ability to crush me to death! This reminded me during one of my take off, as soon ina rotate at 55kt, a fox came out from no where and almost get ran over by me. I was glad that I rotate sooner or else it could end bad. I was flying in a Cessna 172s G1000, and as soon I cleared that fox, i let the tower know.
Just discovered your channel and videos. This one was absolutely fascinating. Are these recordings available to the public? How do you acquire them? Subscribed, will check out more of your posts.
Good thing that fox wasn't hit by any aircraft as it could have caused a major incident, the ATC controller was right to halt all departures on that runway. I could see this potentially happening at Heathrow as well because of the rise in urban foxes in the London area and is one more reminder that when it comes down to wild creatures vs airplanes is not a good thing.
Hell we hit a large animal on the runway in Lagos Nigeria. It scare the hell out of just about everyone. We managed to keep going. Pilot let us know what had happened 20 minutes into the flight. Ground personnel let the pilot know what he had hit.

Poor little guy probably got lost and was running away from all the humans and the scary big birds. The SIN pilots seemed to think it was a runway incursion by another plane, since they knew that a BA was on the crossing runway ready to depart, well, it could be, I don't know of course. But if that's the case, they probably threw the anchor and were fully focused to come to a quick stop, ignoring the ATC's explanation, thus they were asking for crossing traffic. Also, extremely friendly and perky ATC. Legend has it though that FIN8CA still waits for an answer xD Well handled by everyone. Only a little delay for the pax (that they probably can make up easily in flight), intact plane, living fox.
That fox got a number to call
He won't be foxing his way out of this
Possible pet deviation
The fox animation cracked me up!
Not much :D
This was only possible because this particular fox was equipped with ADS-B
Gustavo Maciel All the standard fox models since 2013 come with ADS-B, I don't really think it's especially lucky
same for me haha! noticed that poor buddy crawling slowly to the rwy. 😂
If the fox was drunk and liked to dance, his call-sign could be Whisky Tango Foxtrot ;).
Wtf

Alan Cordwell haha

hasnan.faris noorhanizal lol usually is caution wake of the super in front of you.. whats caution. the super is coming at you hahaha
If he'd continued the takeoff, the fox might've gotten turned into a web browser!
Only if it got sucked into the engine and caught Fire.
If it *didn’t* get sucked in somehow then the jet blast would give us a real Miles Prower for 2 seconds or something

GREAT VID!!! Love all your vids. Keep it up
I think it was unsafe clear to Takeoff the Speedbird 711.
Always thanks for the animation 😉 ✌
Yassine Why was it unsafe?
Micha Guskin The fox could have crossed the runway while the plane was on the runway and instead of a Birdstrike you would have a foxstrike
I thought the same...
You should close the airport for the next 5 days because the fox could come back and cross a runway again!
ItoV6 the airport uses foxes to keep birds population out of the area

No, the fox would have been squashed flat. They would need to have the runway scraped clean of debris.
