I got the video this morning while I see it has been up for 3 days already... ytube... It's good to see you're having a ball Gene, THAT is just as important as the job. Can't wait to see it finished. Hugs from Belgium - Daniella.
Hello Daniella! Good to hear from you. I have been having the time of my life. I also had a wonderful surprise that I will tell you about soon. Thanks again for watching.
@DIYGene I'm the same way! Years ago, I built an addition on a mobile home and built a roof over the whole thing. It was 28'x62' when it was done. I had a little help, here and there, but I was stubborn and did most of it myself. Did the wiring and baseboard heat too. I guess we like to be independent. 👍😁
Hi Gene, im a recent subscriber to your channel and absolutely love your DIY videos. I especially like your Steampunk projects since ill be moving into a new house soon. I aim to convert one of the rooms into a home office/studio/man cave. The style im going for is, what interior designers would refer to as "Dark Academia" but i want to put a Steampunk twist on that and would love to see your take on that. Im looking to see how i can reproduce victorian style steel girders and trusses without it actually being steel. Im thinking possibly 3/4" (18mm) ply and then just painting it to look like old iron or steel? Any way i really hope to see more steampunk projects from your channel. P.S any update on whether or not the cbd oil has helped?
@@Jetta4TDIRThat’s great. I’m going to have to look up Dark Academia. I did a video a few years back and in it I built a studio set. But in that set I made some steal girders out of wood. I added a 20 x 40 addition and I did it exactly as you did and it's been there 35 years. Dang fine build Gene!
