Doctor, you are reconciliating (I hope this word exists in english) me with american physicians. After seeing others being too familiar, having assistants saying offensive comments on patients condition or trying to sell magic potions, your respect and delicatesse towards your patients is just great to see and hear. Thank you.
She's VERY pretty!!! Hey Doc, maybe you should ask her if she'd be willing to share a photo from her younger days? N she has such a dainty, soft voice....like a Disney Princess!
I think a scar on a woman's face is a lovely kind of feature we don't see often. For me, it adds to their beauty a certain mystique and lack of vanity that is refreshing.
You always have the best rapport with your patients. Karen is beautifully elegant...which isn't easy to pull off when you're getting a cyst removed...on your face nonetheless. Thanks for sharing.
I was just wondering if it would have been better to make a smaller incision and rupture the cyst and dissect the sac out, so that you can minimise the scar length with it being on her face? It just seemed strange to me. She wanted the cyst gone because it was becoming an eyesore and an irritant only to replace it with another eyesore? I love cyst excisions but I like the ruptured ones lol, Great work Dr Vaughn you seemed to work very delicately and meticulously to get the cyst out whole it must be very satisfying! X Claire X
I was kind of thinking the same thing. I wonder if her being a mature woman, with thin skin and more frail bone structure had anything to do with it? perhaps pushing against her could've caused her severe bruising (which I know elderly have a hard time getting rid of big bruises. at least all the elderly women I know do). but it does seem like a fairly long scar, it surprises me that getting the cyst out whole would be more important than the patients permanent scar line. if it were me, I'd prefer a a crooked scar that's tiny, rather than a long straight one. that's just me tho. either way, it looks like it shouldn't come back. so all in all it was successful and a job well done
You are so sweet and funny , your technique was wonderfully done even though it was bloody 👍👍by the way your patients are all so cute , where do you find them??
you sure took off a lot of skin. the scar might be more noticeable than the cyst when it was there. good job getting it all out though. have you watch dr. lee's techniques?
Nice job , what a beautiful looking elderly lady , I wish I could have asked her how she treated her skin daily, also what kind protections or prevention she may have used , and doc , do you think having and maintaining your skin has SOMTHING to do with what a person may eat or drink ? Thank you , I realy like your manerissim also your channel .
Love your channel, and this lady is stunning! My only complaint would be the background music! I had to turn down the volume to the point where I could hardly hear you speak because it was driving me crazy! Perhaps on a short clip it would be OK but on lengthy clips it just drones on and on.. something with more notes might be a little less monotonous? Just a suggestion.......
This young lady is beautiful. She has a very meek mannerism. And Dr. Vaughan if you faint, call Dr. Terry Buhl, I bet he would bring you out of your syncope state real quick. 😀
+Jeri Lane The punch instrument is a perfect circle. It is impossible to get the edges of the wound approximated with a circle. An ellipse allows approximation of the edges for a satisfactory cosmetic outcome.

She's beautiful, and so sweet. I'm so glad you were able to help her.
I love the way you and your patients interact. There is such a joy of working with others evident in your voice and the way you care for people.
They are such great people.
What a nice patient! Thank you for letting us watch your procedure!
It's amazing how different doctors have different styles for the same procedure.
She is so beautiful!!! How very sweet she seems! Feel better soon!
She is gorgeous! And those sutures were perfect!
What a lovely lady. I find these video's so relaxing and informative.
Glad you like them!
Your patient is so pretty and sweet. All your patients seem to be nice people.

Wow... What a beautiful lady! Was she a model in her youth?
She probably was.
Donna M. Schmid I know, right? She's gorgeous!
Donna M. Schmid I KNOW RIGHT?!?!
She's VERY pretty!!! Hey Doc, maybe you should ask her if she'd be willing to share a photo from her younger days? N she has such a dainty, soft voice....like a Disney Princess!
Totally agree that is the first thing I thought! Tell her please how absolutely beautiful she is!!!
Karen is adorable, & a fantastic looking lady! You have the sweetest patients. Greetings from Ireland Doc.
That is so kind.
She's beautiful! Rocking that grey hair!
Lol I love her! He asks if the numbing hurts, she's like "not bad". I know from experience that the numbing feels like lava going in lol
What a sweetheart, well done Dr Vaughn x
Nice job! You really do have great patients.

Thanks, Jaycee.
I'd love to see an after picture when the incision is healed.
When you age naturally you are beautiful imo
I love your suture work. Many do them so right they pull and hurt. Yours were just right.
A fine job and a lovely patient!

+Claire Westmoreland there are drawbacks to either method. I could have made a smaller scar, but it probably would not have been as straight.

Beautiful lady & great video Doc, watching from Scotland :)
Greetings Scotland.
She is naturally beautiful!
I would love to see a follow up on her. How big is the scar?
you sure took off a lot of skin. the scar might be more noticeable than the cyst when it was there. good job getting it all out though. have you watch dr. lee's techniques?
What a beautiful woman, both inside and out!
everyone is an expert now! Thanks for the video.
Great work Dr. Vaughan!
All I noticed in the opening of the video is how gorgeous Karen is. Just stunning.
Beautiful lady!! Beautiful stitchwork doc!!
I don't understand why you put train track stitches on her face?? Could you have put an uninterrupted stitch?
There is much better control of the final result of the scar with interrupted sutures.
Great work Dr. like watching from Michigan
Two of my nurses and two of my medical assistants visit Michigan often.
Oh how nice, which part, i'm in lower Michigan
What an elegant lady :)
AW Karen is gorgeous!
Not gonna lie, I'm wearing the same flannel as her rn
You did a wonderful job, Doc 😊 and Karen is such a beautiful and sweet lady ☺🌺 ps... I miss Auburn as I use to live there😊
I love your videos.!
Good job ! What was the pathology report - all ok ?
+Carolyn Mccall all okay
always great to hear news like that . Thank you
Great vid as always!
You are a hoot! Love how you tell the patient (and us!) what is happening.
Tell Dr. Gawain to make us some videos too!
I'll tell him.

It has more to do with sun exposure than diet.
She is pretty~♡
She is a very pretty lady and so sweet.
Hey doc what is your speciality? In another episode you said you'd refer the patient to a Dermatologist, is that not what you are? Love your work btw.
Why didn't u refer her to dermatology?
There is no reason to refer out for procedures we do in our own office. My patients prefer to work with a doctor they already know and trust.
That's a good way of saying you wanted the job. lol

Such a sweet, beautiful lady.

Such a lovely lady .

+sarah milton I think I'm going to faint at that suggestion.
Hi Dr. Mark dose your nephew still work with you at the clinic I have not seen any videos with him in a little while?
He is camera shy. You should call him and tell him to do a video.
What a beautiful lady.
Cool nice
Miss Karen is a beautiful woman.
Nice lady!!!
Sweet woman 🙂
I prefer Dr. Kim Lee. I don't care for his stitches. What a mess on her face.
Who is Dr Kim Lee?
She is a beautiful woman.
great video as always doc. But what did you call me in the beginning of the video? a methhead? LOL
MedHeads is an affectionate term for our community of medically-interested viewers.
Hmm looks more like a lipoma than a sebaceous cyst.
Why didn't you use a punch for this?
+Jeri Lane The punch instrument is a perfect circle. It is impossible to get the edges of the wound approximated with a circle. An ellipse allows approximation of the edges for a satisfactory cosmetic outcome.
