It's fine, Sypha, that's the usual reaction to seeing Trevor's face for the first time xD
Next death battle.
Geralt of Rivia vs Trevor Belmont.
Both are master monster hunters/slayers.
Both have fought vampires multiple times.
Both have superb weapons skills.
Both are excellent fighters.
Both have a vast knowledge of curses and the monsters they hunt.
Both have dealt with vampire leaders.
Both have a vampire as a friend.
Both have a sorceress as a love interest.
Both are hated by most of the civilian population.
And both have been beaten up in bar fights.
Make it happen!
Yellow Money game Geralt vs Trevor would be a good fight. Book Geralt vs Trevor would end with Belmont blood coating the walls
Geralt would win only because he is a witcher
@@riastradh doesnt he get killed by some dude with a pitchfork? And a Belmont at his prime is supposed to be able to take on Dracula 1v1, so I dont think it would be that easy of a fight lol
Christian Sanchez a teen with a pitchfork. And that was after he was older, had his femur broken and was surrounded by a massive mob of people. A Witcher in his prime can move and fight faster than the eye can see, be a literal blur
bold of you to assume Trevor and Geralt would fight to the death instead of going out for drinks, drunkenly fighting off an entire bar's worth of angry people, and then sharing monster hunting tips with each other.
Would love to see more boss battles like this with Trever fighting iconic monsters in a lair and gaining a relic or something. They way the story built up to this moment is so good
i freaking love the art style of this, truly some amazing animation work done for this and a well told story as well
"God shit in my dinner once again" is the greatest way to say "I'm fucked" ever put to words.
“God shits on my dinner once again”. Classic.
Choreography of animations is always such a cool thing. I had to watch this video again to see that the sculpture begins to fall because Belmont jumped off of it.
1:30 "God shits on my dinner once again!" XD
The first time I heared it I thought he said "I shit out my dinner once again!" 😆😆😆
The way he kicks the knife had me screaming when I first watched it
Natural reaction to seeing Trevor for the first time.
I love how they basically say fuck the laying in my arms while gaze into your eyes after I saved you cliche and Sypha turns around and blows chunks. And they later on become arguably the best couple in the series. This is true romance.
This show has got the best voice acting I've ever heard
"Reflexes like cat.....and the subtlety of a thrown brick."
He jumps off Sypha to kick the blade into the Cyclop's eye. I never noticed the first monster kill was still technically a group effort.
2:25 - The moment Sypha will never let Trevor live down.
I think Castlevania has the perfect example of a character that’s basically trained all his life for a specific thing and because of his years out of practice, he’s not even completely sure he could have actually won.
1:59 Favorite line.
I love how the video ends with Sypha throwing up.
Nice.
The serie is packed with moments to say out loud "this is fucking cool!!"
1:55 *every gamer after they think they struck a killing blow on a hard as nail boss*
"God shits in my dinner once again."
I'm gonna have to use that one!
The fight choreograph and the sequencing was just so amazing for this series and I don't think anything's ever going to be able to top it if they ever try to make a live-action movie and if they do try to make a live-action movie or series and if it's not going to top these fight scenes I don't think it'll make it
Had he not saved her from falling she would have broke and crumble to pieces and then her flesh woulda been sprawled on the floor...
*BUT TREVORS A CLASSY GUY!!*
😋
Alucard: “Please. This isn’t a bar fight. Have some class.”
"Dad, what did mom when she first met you?"
Trevor & Sypha: Vomit
The first time I heared 1:30 I really thought he said, "I shit out my dinner once again!" 😆💜
"God shits in my dinner once again." I feel you Trevor, I really do.
Kinda wish the series delved more into how individual monsters and demons functioned and behaved according to the Belmont Beastiary.
1:54 It goes by super quick but it was hilarious at how much Trevor overestimated how lethal his sword toss was. "Cmon!!! Notice you're Dead!!" 🤣
"Come on. Come on you're dead!"
Me when a boss has that little slither of health left
Am I the only one who thinks the animation looks pretty fluid?
When people keep mentioning Sypha is stronger then Trevor...just remember Trevor is the one who FREED her from a defeat at the hand of the Cyclops.
Do people say that
season 4 you can tell she learned from him she’s gotten better
@@thotslayer9493 in terms of raw power yea she is likely better the Trevor. But Trevor has generations worth of knowledge and training beaten into him giving him the skills to compete with monsters that hit well above normal human level.
In raw power and ability to fight multiple enemies? Yes she is but Trevor is a more skilled single enemy combatant.
They made a cyclops so much more interesting by giving it lazers
Never knew the Netflix show was a retelling of Castlevania III. Neat.
The series is really good especially the last one
Mad Forest intensifies
After seeing just how powerful Sypha is in later episodes...that Cyclops got REALLY REALLY lucky to get the drop on her.
So after Trevor gets through wrastling around with his 1 eyed Cyclops, Sypha reawakens from her Bukake induced petrification, only to realize that she couldn’t swallow, what she already chewed.
Poor the stoned Knight with the broken off leg... when the curse is lifted... he be like... f$&@... my leg...
He was missing his head too
Lori Candido yep.
All the others were dead already anyway, Trevor explains afterwards that the cyclops was “feeding” off them so I’m guessing if that happens long enough you truly die and that was why only she turned back.
Nevermore 728 No, the others turned back into flesh as well, just not live flesh. Obvious reasons in the case of stumpy, here.
1:41 The entire Castlevania animated series would end immediately if the cyclop crushed his head in his palm instead of throwing him out.
Now that the show's over and we've seen how powerful Sypha is, how did she get petrified in the first place? The woman is a bloody walking apocalypse
Sypha is a glass canon. She can bring the pain, but any solid hit sends her tumbling. She's also not anywhere near as agile as Trevor is.
The Cyclops got the drop on her, and it's doubtful her elemental magic would have been able to stop the beam.
@@luminozero I say it's also an example of being gifted but hindered by inexperince. Sypha went looking for the 'sleeping hero' while she expected physical traps she didn't expect actual monsters.
That and it was most likely her first fight, whereas Trevor knew what he was dealing with, and planned just as quick.
Surviving the encounter (and seeing things detoriate even futher) has made her adapt and improve since, which shows her growth as a character.
Because she wasn't that good yet. When the demons attack the town, she didn't have as much proficiency as does at the end, she made a couple ice walls and spikes, and thats it, vs soloing several vampire generals
2:25 How after all this time I'm just noticing now that Trevor climbed on Sypha while she was petrified and that was what she was refering too, damn it
To be fair, it's not the first time that Trevor has gotten that reaction from a woman.
No one ever sculpts statues of terrified warriors.
Right.
That's the usual reaction when a woman ends up in my arms.
I love Trevor how he traverses from badass to idiot and back to a badass again
2:26
That's what she was complaining about?
He tapped her in the head once... Then
Jumped off her once...
So not "climbed climbed all over."
1:42 the cyclops could have crushed Trevors skull but he decided to throw him, every villian makes that mistake
Well the cyclops wanted him alive in stone so he could feed on his terror while he was trapped
“Reflexes like a cat....”
*Trevor has unlocked future wife.*
+ 10 Magic
+ 7 Charisma
+ 7 Intelligence
- 6 Nagging
Who ever heard of a cyclops with the power of the madusa‘s gaze.
1:59 when the enemy health bar is at minimum but so is yours
If there is one thing I know it’s that a cyclops’s only kryptonite is it’s 1 eyeball. 👁️
2:00
Let's face it - we all said that while playing Castlevania.
*And that kids, is how I met your mother.*
And THAT kids....is how I met your mother..
I miss this big ass coat in the later seasons
0:50 Kind of freaky seeing that poor sod return to flesh and immediately start spurting blood.
Hot-blooded & Half-German Do tell me, how exactly do you cut off your own head *and* your own leg in the split seconds before the cyclops’s gaze takes you for granite?
Hot-blooded & Half-German And this happens just as the cyclops’s eye beam strikes him and petrifies him. One assumes the process is slow enough for his arms to slump to the side?
