Where can I find a manual, or tutorial, on how to create an instance of a spawner on the ground? I was unable to understand the keystrokes needed to do this. I tried to follow your tutorial but I couldn't draw the church, or the small town, etc.

ya use Gena, I have for years .... I use it for nearly everything that I can spawn.... I use it in Runtime as well. The gravity tool is nice to place objects randomly. Great for random rocks, junk piles and much more....
Hello . i have a quiestion in this video. i saw the instructor is able to change the direction of the Church. how the instructor is doing it. by changing the rotation from the keyboard by pressing which Button. i am new to Gaia and with every video i am learning more looking to hear from you
looking fantastic. Nice work.. Gena has it all now.. Everything you need to world build, level design and much more.. ! Can't wait to use myself the new version.
I would like to use your tools to make an existing village in 3D. I use Blender's GIS addon to get the elevation and texture. I get the houses data from a local obj dataset. Now I would like to use gaia and gema to create the roads, rivers and flora in Unity. I want it to work with an Oculus Quest. Does it make sense to use your tools in this workflow?
@@AdamGoodrich That is what I was going to say. Add some low poly trees for mobile games. It would be really appreciated if you make a tutorial for mobile games.

Are there any improvements coming to Gaia Pro, multiterrain/massive world support? Personal hope here: can we look forward to a jungle/rainforest biome with the new coming biomes?
Gaia Pro is under active development and has been since it launched nearly 2 years ago. It already supports massive worlds, and in the next few weeks we will be launching a cool world generation tool that randomizes and automates the process as well. We also have a new biome coming which is amazing... and much more.
@@AdamGoodrich Thanks for the response! Dont get me wrong I love Gaia Pro as is and primarily use it for massive worlds as it is already one of the few Unity assets that handle it well, I was just wondering if further improvements were in the works and it sounds like they sure are. I am eager to see the next update! Yall are awesome!
Hello! Thanks for this great video, I have a question, lets say you wanted to make a dirt path instead of a road, would you be able to do that with this tool? :) thanks!
@@AdamGoodrich, thank you for the quick reply. I know about Unity Terrain and so I'm asking if with your tools is it possible to use the mesh based solution.
Framerate is dependent on many things. The simple rule is that the more you throw at your scene the slower it will render. All games balance visual complexity against performance, and this has always been the case. Bottom line is that you need to own your process and your result.
I bought your tools a number of years ago, these bids are really making want to get back into it and make some levels just for fun
I was not feeling great when i made this... but yeap. It is so much fun enjoying these environments.

this video single-handedly sold me gena. now i just need something that can do this but with npc's, enemies, and wildlife!
just use GeNa to spawn them!

in the not too distant future it will also have real time end to end world generation at runtime. we have a lot more cooking!

Tools of Procedural World are amazing. In minutes, one can make realistic environment.
One thing I want to know, if we can use this scene for mobile.
Out tools can be used to make mobile environments. You just need to choose the right assets.

Yep. And we did a big update to the documentation last week. Its much better now.
I've had Gaia 2 for a good couple years now, finally upgrading to Gaia Pro and Gena Pro! If the damn asset store would take my money >_
Very cool. I saw when I installed Gaia Pro there was a mention of the XR Toolkit. Is there a tutorial on that for Oculus Quest 2?
No. We just plug in the XR controller. We dont do anything beyond that as it is standard Unity and beyond the scope of Gaia.

Wow amazing. Makes me want to buy Gaia Pro and Gena Pro :). Can I create same result using Gaia 2 and Gena 2 ?
Gaia 2 - with work - generally yes. GeNa 2 does not have spline, road, river or decorator support, however it is still extremely powerful.
Yo adam how is it possible to add a prefab to my content packs and use the spawner to spawn in custom prefabs?
Hello! Thanks for this great video, I have a question, lets say you wanted to make a dirt path instead of a road, would you be able to do that with this tool? :) thanks!
I just finished watching the video, you addressed it hehe :) thanks!
Can you make hard intersections on the roads? That's the only thing I'm struggling with. They don't look right.
It can already make complex intersections, and we will be evolving the roads system over time.
What is the difference between Gena and Gaia?
they are chalk and cheese. watch the videos.
Is it possible to rotate the generated world?
Unity terrain does not support this. If you did something mesh based then yes.
@@AdamGoodrich, thank you for the quick reply. I know about Unity Terrain and so I'm asking if with your tools is it possible to use the mesh based solution.
@@AdamGoodrich in other words, Unity consider the generated world as terrain or as mesh? This is the only doubt we have before buying these tools.
@@bodo4133 Gaia can create as terrain, and export as mesh, so you could do it that way. GeNa can spawn on terrain or mesh.
I really need this asset, but I don't know how efficient it will be, will it only have 10 or so FPS

Gena is just 2.5 mb? ?
What asset of the buildings used?
Fallen Grounds - its free on asset store. It's modular. In GeNa Pro we generate buildings from them.
is this compatible with atavism ?
If avatism supports unity terrain, then yes. Beyond that I dont know as i dont use it.
Is this a new update for Gaia and GeNa?
Yes. Gaia Pro, GeNa Pro, running hand in hand together. GeNa Pro is complete rewrite of GeNa.
Funny, using it now does not work anyway like shown.. Either it does not spawn anything, or it iterates way to many items.. unity 2020.
It absolutely does work as shown. I used it to make the video! If you are having issues then please lodge support ticket.
