Definitely a daf for me
I do like the new MAN (taken over by Scania I believe), very nice. However I now have my own Iveco S-way, not locked in Eco mode, she's a flyer. She has blind side cams and rear view cam, bed is to die for, bristling with USB and stuff, sound system is well cool, steering is very light, large fridge with freezer that will freeze stuff, the seats are mega comfy with air com and heat, the body styling is very cool, I love her.
Down sides, she's thirsty on AdBlu and and Adblu guage isn't accurate (1/4 tank showing is actually on 2L), no weight transfer like Scanias, DAB signal can cut out at times, tacho defaults to break rather than other work.
Really enjoyed this. Personally prefer the look of the DAF. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with you about the person camera and its annoying beep every time you get close to a kerb or even a parked car when in narrow streets. Having driven MAN day cabs (on artics) for the last 15 odd years, I think they seem to be getting more and more sluggish as each newer model comes out, the price you pay for "eco mode" I suppose . Also our current 24 and 74 plate ones have adblue on same side as the derv tank. Maybe day cab speck is different to your sleeper cab.
Alot of people have said they are slow of the mark, which I haven't overly noticed with 25 tonnes of machines on the trailer, but when it's empty it seems alright, I til you get to a small hill.
I drive rigid vehicles mostly renaults and mercedes and they also can have the ad blue and the fuel tank on opposite sides.
Yeah my Mercedes had it like that. Never noticed it on the Renaults to be honest.
No sun visor, no lights on top........... you stay away from my MAN

Could be worse..at least you didn't get that damn Renault, im not a driver but i like the underdogs, the hino,s and ivecos, because they're different and you don't see that many around
Didn't like older MAN large steering wheel and middle mounted Park brake. There again I don't like the flappy park brake switch that all brands seem to moving to.
I personally find the MAN brake pedal sits to high after being in a DAF ,For me i prefer DAF....I would love to hear someone say they dont like the DAF bunk...That would get a lot of comments lol

Nice vid mate like the different between the 2 trucks if I’m being honest the DAF XF takes the win for me because of its comfort and it’s very nice looking truck especially the new ones I know a lot of people like scania but scania is the most overrated truck while the Renault premium is the most underrated truck I not huge fan of the new MANs because it looks car like inside and the grills look plastic I like all trucks but daf is my personal favourite

At the moment it is shared with a night driver until the next one arrives.
I don't mind sharing the truck coz he keeps it clean I tidy.
I prefer le daf xf 530
