thoughts on the Ripmo vs the Jeffsy in terms of water bottle holder (dumb. I know) and sizing, I'm a novice for sure but I'm 5'9" and not sure if sizing up or being at the end of range for a size M is best? thoughts since you've ridden both? I am looking between the two. I like the YT but as dumb as it is, spending that much money and not being able to fit a simple water bottle would irritate me. Thanks for your vids and feedback!
The Jeffsy can hold a water bottle but only a special one that you have to purchase from YT. The ripmo fits a normal side-loading bottle cage and can hold a normal sized bottle, although it is a little tight. In terms of sizing I'm no expert but I think it really depends what you're looking for. If you want something that's more poppy and playful go for the smaller size M, if you want something that's going to be more stable when pointed downhill then size up. But there are a lot of other factors that go into sizing a bike that I don't really know a lot about so that's probably a good question to ask at a shop!
@@CharlieWentOutside That's pretty nice looking, never ridden a high pivot like that but would like to try it. I have a Ripley v4 I got a few months back that's got the ibis carbon hoops. I blew up all my old pb's on the climbs too without even trying hard. I'm thinking of getting a Ripmo AF also for bike park days. Was considering a Jeffsy too but your video was helpful in deciding which suited my needs most. Thanks for that.
Spoilers, sorta? ... Ripmo AF is for sale in the 207MTB Classifieds group on FB. If you're not in that group but are interested, you can leave a reply here or email bike at dieselsecurity.email (yes that's a real email address, .email is a thing)
Ive been taking my 27.5 Jeffsy base off of massive drops, the bike is amaze-balls!
good review and I'm sure both bikes are great bikes, cheers!!
Thx, for the common sense simple review. I’m between these 2 bikes, Id prefer Ripmo, but being how you can’t get one I think it’s going to be the YT.

Easy. Transition Spur or Ripley
Both great
DW Link is most efficient
