I can't believe he admitted his terrible, murderous fantasies to the military psychiatrist, and they just let him go without keeping some kind of tabs on him! Also, to join the police force, you have to go through very thorough psychiatric testing. I'm interested to know if he did do the testing...
I just said the same thing in another comment. But if you file a complaint they'd tell you what a great officer he is. Imagine the damage he would have done with a badge.

This is why this channel is top tier for me. I seen this case in EWU channel, and they only focused on the killer and his interview. They even used not so great looking pictures of Lea and focused on how she was a drug addict. She is a victim, and was murdered. This is why Unseen is top notch, they focus on the victims and their family. How beautiful family and friendships are. They showed way more footage and stuff i hadn't seen before. They showed more about her mother and brother too. Rest in Piece Lea She and no one else deserves this.
@@Trustthapo yea, I stopped watching them recently too. Either way their "never before seen footage" is mostly from law and crime network channel Couldn't stand the whole glorifying the killers and the way they spoke about mental illnesses. @@Trustthapo actually, people who suffer from schizophrenia are more likely to become victims of a crime than commit one themselves - but I have never heard EWU stating that fact!
The Plea Agreement is invalid. It will awaken his memory real quick. This family deserves closure. The brother is top notch, great job!
I completely agree. If he told the cops a story, then agreed to help by disclosing the location of her body, to then simply repeating the same information offering nothing new, how is that NOT OBVIOUSLY failing to meet the plea agreement! Clearly it is plain and OBVIOUSLY implied by his agreement that he will disclose "Unknown" information in exchange of the sentence reduction, he gave nothing up that wasn't known prior to the agreement, what judge, what jury. What person would not see he failed to meet his obligation??? Its felt very much to me that they didn't want to waste time and money on a trial, so they chose to take the easy out!!!

There’s a case where people who even though they have confessed to murder will not give away the locations of the bodies even if they’re on death row. The potential reason is a sort of power dynamic. And they always choose to be "nice" to women that either have drug issues, or are s3x workers, really poor etc. because they figure the majority of society will look down upon those people anyhow, as if they will not be missed, and if it really comes down to it they figure "well who is everyone going to believe a drug addict or me?" They do that sh*t on purpose, you don't see them trying their BS on people like Governor's daughters and such.

He served in the military and wanted to be a police officer... Now, just let that sink in... so many of these psychos want to get into law enforcement so they can have a shield to protect them when they carry out there (in some cases), life-long lust, and crimes. Chilling hearing those words come out his mouth in those recordings... knowing full well that he was kicked out of the military for admitting the horrible things he wanted to do, and yet he still felt he was suitable enough and "wanted to be a police officer. "
Plenty of psychopath cops and judges!
I had a brother who loved me that much. Unfortunately, after surviving Vietnam, he died 7 years after he got home on his Harley motorcycle. My life has never been the same since. I miss my hero.
😢
i’m sure he’s proud of who you’ve become and how far you’ve gotten ❤
It breaks my heart to hear the mother and brother of Lea crying and wailing while talking to the police. I’ll never understand how there are just such heartless… you can’t even call them people… demons, walking around everyday
You don't know how right you even are. You're absolutely correct. Seek the Lord Jesus Christ and get everlasting life.
Rest in Piece Lea
She and no one else deserves this.
couldn't of said it better myself
Exactly why I unsubscribed from EWU. I was so tired of every story they put out victim blaming and demonizing mental illnesses like schizophrenia.
@@Trustthapo yea, I stopped watching them recently too. Either way their "never before seen footage" is mostly from law and crime network channel
Couldn't stand the whole glorifying the killers and the way they spoke about mental illnesses. Imo it just gives a way for people to obsess over killers rather than think of the actual victims.
@@Trustthapo actually, people who suffer from schizophrenia are more likely to become victims of a crime than commit one themselves - but I have never heard EWU stating that fact!
wow, and to think i quit watching EWU because i just couldn't stand the grating text-to-speech narration they used...
The Plea Agreement is invalid. If he didn't tell where her body was and they know he's lying because they searched the dump for 45 days and she wasn't there, so the Plea can be dismissed and they can bring him back for a 1st degree murder charge with the death penalty on the table.
Yes and it bothered me when that lazy weakling lawyer said "You can't go back and say he's lying! You just can't do that!"
My brother was killed in January of this year. I am 24 on 11/22 and he was only 29 years old… he lived a troubled life but was tossed aside like trash. No evidence no investigation… no care upon arrival. Cops just recently released surveillance that shows the lights in his place of employment were turned off right after he hit the ground. He was out of view but the lights were turned off by a third party. At first it was ruled heart attack.. it took 5 months for them to change it to homicide… they have no leads. Allowed all that time and evidence pass… have fought my family tirelessly and will not allow us to see the tapes… It is an entire cover up. I hope one day my brother receives justice. I will not stop fighting… until the day I take my last breath and meet back up with him. Robert I will fight for you forever. I will find them.
I am so sorry. Was there an autopsy? Was he a minority?

Lea had every reason to look up to and admire Maxx, clearly he was/is an outstanding brother and protector. The restraint held to get that confession is truly commendable.
Crazy how almost all of these stories have to get to a point where family & friends are the ones that take matters into their own hands and investigate the situations themselves instead of the police doing their job
Sometimes the police have no evidence they have to be careful is not as simple as it seems
I think we’ve been tricked into Believing the police were public servants. They serve the rich, they serve big business but I Never see them serving the common man
I know! This shows how most police departments are messed up! It reminds me of a cold case and like 2 decades later o think they finally decided to try to I finally solve the case! 😡😡🤬🤬
Yes. It’s because THEY CARE!
“Almost all” ? Somewhat exaggerated. I note purely through RUclips comments how Americans love to endlessly whine about their police. Maybe more of these unhappy folk should sign up to BE police, let’s see how that goes.
Maxx is an incredibly strong wonderful dedicated selfless brother. That took so much strength most wouldn't be able too pull off! So much respect, good for you best brother!

What upsets me the most was how this girl was depressed in this new phase of her life, university (which i relate as someone who just started it too), and had feared from her ex boyfriend, who was WAY older and controlling, and likely abusive, then is with a "friend" that she may trust, and he ends up killing her..horrible. Poor Lea, may she rest in peace.
Well, school is the least of your depression when you are hooked on Heroin. It certainly will turn anyone's life into an absolute mess. Anyhow, I agree. Nobody deserves to have their life taken like that.
@@Mischa21xo The reason she turned to heroin may have been a way to cope. Starting uni can be extremely stressful and scary experience.
"I would give up my life to find her." Said her brother. So beautifully said. I share this kind of love. We need more brothers like her brother.❤
Everyone needs a brother like Maxx. What an absolute hero ❤
Big props to the brother I can tell he wanted to break down he couldn’t hold his anger in
It’s insane how far killers will go to cover their crimes
Agree
Well if you committed the worst crime known to law. You think they’re gonna give up their freedom just like that? I mean you lie for the littlest things imagine murder. It’s simple dude anyone would try to cover murder
It's literally not insane at all. You're talking about someone who killed another person. Lying to cover their ass is probably the least insane thing they'll do. Dummy.
Fr but if u know you will go in prison for ever I think everyone will try to cover their crime up if there going to jail for so long/forever (I’m not standing up for them obviously I’m just saying everyone will do that)
It’s not insane. It’s a very sane thing to do. If I did something that I don’t want to spend my life in prison for, I would do anything to cover it up. Literally anything.
Being able to maintain that level of composure, Max would make an amazing detective & interregator
This needs to be on "Dumbest Criminals". Who gets a nose bleed at someone else's house on the sheets and says "oh I'm so sorry, let me take those with me" 🤦🏽 Wtf 😂
I thought that was the most absurd part of his story.
How can the plea deal stand when he doesn't tell them where her body is??? How did that not undo the deal????????
He thought no one would miss her, he didn’t know how wildly incorrect he was ❤
Said who?
@@Kat.Evangeline14it’s a blanket statement that you clearly misunderstood. It means he thought he’d get away with it, that’s evident from his failed attempt at a coverup. Which then means he believed no one would think she was dead if they can’t find her body and more specifically be murdered by him “the friend who’s the most loyal to his closest friends”.
Everybody in the world should have a brother like Max.
Maxx is the type we need as a detective. But after what he went thru with his sister, that type of thing might break him. How blessed you were Maxx to have had such a wonderful relationship with your sister. And how blessed your mom and Lea are to have you.
Wow. What a horrible story. Listening to this was so hard. I have so much respect for Maxx. What an incredible man. I'm hoping that Lea is found and laid to rest peacefully
I believe there is a line between being mentally ill and just being straight up evil.
It’s insane 🥺
This!!
I hate this idea that violent murderers are mentally ill. Mentally ill people are far far far more likely to be victims themselves. They are also more likely to be victims than people with no mental health issues.
Yep! Its very hard to to tell in a lot of cases which is which but usually the evil ones will be very calm and calculated mentally ill people usually get flustered and start breaking down after a while. My Dad was a Psychiatric nurse at a mental hospital so he taught me a few things its quite scary when you understand the truth

The most bizzare detail of this case for me is that he threw her body in his own dumpster near the crime scene and shes NEVER BEEN FOUND...

Why they didn't look there?

@@notbill08 why not reveal the body whereabouts when already confessed to murder?

The police did well to bring the man from hotel in right away rather than tell the family an 18+ year old can do what she wants and not call them back as they usually do at first
I mean, she may be 18 but, more importantly, she's dead...
Your comment makes zero sense?? What does that have ANYTHING to do with a missing person case?? It's a missing person case they're investigating, he was a suspect, they had to question him because of that, has nothing to do with them having had sex itself. The mom wasn't concerned about her daughter being with an older man at this point but her daughter disappeared and just wanted her back. I don't get how your comment makes any sense honestly.

There’s a case where people who even though they have confessed to murder will not give away the locations of the bodies even if they’re on death row. The potential reason is a sort of power dynamic. As long as they don’t find the body, in their twisted mind, they still have the high grounds where people will do so much just to get even some details of what happened. It’s twisted but to some, it’s a game
