Bro no need to explain about using your tools, if anyone is commenting about that is obviously jealousy. You have nice things and you take care of them, good for you. I had a crew of nine for about a decade. I have some tools about 20 years old and they look barely used. Trust me, THEY WERE USED. Don’t lend out ANYTHING, EVER! 😂 I learned the hard way. I even have a sign on my now small shop. “Don’t ask because the answer is NO!”
Btw awesome idea on using standard items that anyone has at home to compare to. Well done!
Exterior Dimensions would of being cool since you had the tape out already. Just saying bc that’s the only big box without the rails. This year I finally got into the packout and it’s bad ass! My yellow and black tools now have a red dress 😂 💯 DeWalt guy here 🤙🏽
Thank you so much. I had a lot of comments in my other video of the packout wall about my tools appearing to be new and barely used. Just got another similar comment the other day. Some people downright accused me of having the tools for decoration. I use ALL of my tools. They have gotten greasy and dirty to the point of being caked on, but goof off and spray nine work wonders in getting the red plastic to show again. I agree with you, I don’t owe anyone an explanation and I have nothing to prove. I guess for some people my tools don’t look used enough for them. I take care of them and I’m not sorry for that.
Thank you for your feedback about the standard items being used for comparison. It makes me glad that you found that part useful. I didn’t think about exterior dimensions and I think that would be easy to look up on their website because I’m pretty sure those are published. But since I had the tape out, it would have taken a few moments to do.
I’m all about organization and if I was a tradesman I would definitely go crazy on the rolling and portable packout stuff! I love things that would streamline my workflow! I have friends that have gone all in DeWalt and I think they have great tools too, but you can see the direction I went - because….. the batteries! That’s how they get you! Once you’re invested you’re married to that particular system and switching or adding competitor products wouldn’t be impossible, just expensive. Have a great day bro. I’m with you - I think they’re jealous 😉🤣😝
The tissues will come in handy when you start looking at how much you have spent on Packout.
Isn’t that the truth! I am pretty happy with my set up, it did cost a pretty penny but as I say, buy once cry once
@@MinhNguyen-ot1zg I use this cabinet to store and roll out my rear handle circ saw. Fits perfect
Thanks for the video! It looks like a shelf fits in there, that would be awesome for oil filters.
If you are creative enough to find a shelf that will fit, that would be great! Please let me know if you do! Haven't thought about storing oil filters in there, but the ones I have stack nicely maybe without the need for a shelf. Thank you for the suggestion!
Well presented video, I gave it the 👍.
Thank you!
This is awesome, I like the idea of stacking for PACKOUT. Tomorrow I will be ordering a pair from Ohio Power Tools.
Thank you bro.
I'm so glad it helped. Let me know how you like it after you get it.
I ordered mine from Northern Tool and got a $50 gift card but they don't seem to be offering that promotion right now.
@@MinhNguyen-ot1zg that's a first PACKOUT never seems to go on sale, Do you think I should wait until Labor Day and look around to see if there's a sale?
@@rickyperkins232 That’s a good question, I suppose it won’t hurt to wait because Labor Day is right around the corner. With Northern tool you never know when their promotions will be and it wasn’t specifically the packout that was on sale. It was a promotion that if you spent over $250 you would get a $50 gift card. The more you spend, the bigger the gift card you get. Both my cabinets cost about $280 so I got the $50 gift card. When I bought my Milwaukee lawnmower it was $1000 and I wound up getting a $100 gift card. You might call them and ask them if they know if they’re going to run a promotion soon. Home Depot always seems to have some kind of promotions going on with Milwaukee with a “Buy this tool or battery, get this tool or battery free” around Labor Day, thanksgiving / Black Friday, etc. Last year around Black Friday they had the Milwaukee heated jackets on sale and that’s when I got mine - highly, highly recommended! 👍🏼

The white paint on my ratchets is long gone.
Getting your money’s worth is the way I see it!
If you think break clean Is good for cleaning the parts off you should try shopklean It's easier on your hands and I think it's better over all I am a Diesel mechanic It's a well worth product And if you like the shopklean then try the thunderbolt It's a foaming penetrating oil that really works
Wow thank you for the tip! I have never heard of those but I’ll be sure to check them out! Maybe they’re available on amazon!
I feel like in your garage you need more cabinets then anything it makes it look better!
Maybe, I don’t think you can have too many cabinets!
What was the name of that hydraulic lift you had?
It is the Quickjack BL-5000SLX. QuickJack is a subsidiary of BendPak. There's different models with different lengths and lifting capacities but it was the only model offered at Costco originally priced at $999. I kept on looking at them everytime I went there and when they had them on clearance for $799 I knew I had to buy it. I've had several cars slip off regular jacks and get damaged, so this has been a lifesaver. It takes longer to position the lift than it does to actually lift the car. It's rated at 5000 lbs but I am confident it will handle a little more than what it's rated at. I've lifted my Ford Explorer (4800 lbs) and a Chevy Tahoe (even heavier) before. It gives you about 18 inches of working space underneath, even more if you get the SUV adapter. I don't have the SUV adapter because it's quite a bit of room underneath it the way it is. It is very durable, well made, and overbuilt.
Is it water proof?
Thank you for your question. It is not waterproof in the sense that it can be submerged. There’s no weathersealing or O-rings around the door. Water would easily penetrate the gaps if immersed in water. I suppose it is water resistant against any kind of splashing such as light rainfall, about as water resistant as any box would be. I’m sure if left outside in the rain during a torrential down pour some water would make its way inside.
If only that could fit a microwave would be excellent.
Never thought about that! Although there are some very very small microwaves out there.
Who on the hell mounts a Packout in their kitchen!? Just sayin…. You must not be married or have a lady in the house.. wtf.. ohh and Lexus CT is a girl’s car.
Your comment made me laugh 😆 I am single and there is no lady in the house, so I can do whatever I want! I never knew that the Lexus CT is a girl’s car. Some cars, like the VW Beetle and Honda del Sol are definitely girl cars! The region I am from, they are not very common. I don’t think they’re overly common anywhere, as Lexus did not sell many of them here vs in Europe. For me, the car is a matter of practicality, being a hatchback, and verygood efficiency as it gets me an average of 40 plus miles per gallon. Since I’ve changed out the hybrid battery to a brand new OEM one I’ve attained 46-51 MPG! During my ownership of it, it has proven to be super reliable, requiring no more than routine maintenance like oil changes and spark plugs, air filters, etc. I believe it is still on its set of original factory brakes at almost 200k miles! I did have to change the hybrid battery of course, at 179k miles, and the front sway bar links, but that’s been it! I could have gotten better MPG with a Prius but in my opinion, the 3rd gen Lexus hybrid is a bit nicer on the inside and has a more pleasing aesthetic appearance on the outside. And going back to the Packout wall being in the kitchen - I did relocate the cabinet and shelves to the garage and brought the batteries and battery holders to mount on the kitchen wall for the winter. Don’t want to store the batteries in freezing conditions, you know.
@@MinhNguyen-ot1zg haha I was thinking the same wondering must be single doing that. Love all you stuff mate great garage plenty of tools.
