    21:16 About the message, I peeked into the game script files and the game's developer did left the actual message as a comment: "removal of souls from... travel below the... not follow instructions... envelope..." (the ellipses is there, not added by me)

    a guy on the internet in Paper lily told everyone to jump off the bus before the destination. Could they have escaped from the facility, or are they a demon. The thread also got frozen after that. Could there have been someone controlling the web

    20:35 the main character’s name is Lacie, not Lily, the title refers to folding the paper Lily to leave the demon realm

      @@MoFace Thanks , if my guess is correct there is something off with the timeline tho because the book in the facility laboratory says the exact opposite , it kinda suggests an advancement in soul research but the last time the facility was running was hundreds of years ago according to Rune whereas this letter is from Kat's memories as a child.

    I'm not sure if Project Kat takes place in the 19's, because as we see in Lacie's room she has a console and a modern-looking computer... All the while wearing the same school outfit as Kat does. I'd say it's 2010~?
    Also, another thing, I'd think this occult stuff is much more prominent in PK/PL universe, as judging from the forums on Lacie's computer, I have a suspicion that those rituals are actually quite popular, but not quite enough to be considered by the public... All in all, I'm interested in how this story will unfold itself, and in which direction.

    • @MoFace
      @MoFace  4 месяца назад

      The developers confirmed Project Kat took place in the 90s (in the supporter pack info), so perhaps Paper Lily is set in the future (after Kat's incident) in the 2010s?
      But definitely agree with you there on the popularity of the rituals, especially with the new updates in Chapter 1 - I suspect Sai is the user that's been around the longest that we see in Lacie's forum too. I know it'll be awhile before Chapter 2 is released, but I look forward to learning more!

      Hm... I'm about to go on a tangent here, but I think it's a plausible theory.
      Every human person we seem to interact with, both in Project Kat and Paper Lily, has to do something with the occult. After watching the entirety of Miss Knive's backstory, I can't help but think that the town/city Lacie/Kat are living at is the same place where that village burned down.
      I mean, the way Ritual Letters are being sent... I think the disappearances are strictly localized within this particular town/city.
      Although, the mere existence of forums regarding those ritual letters in particular puts my theory into oblivion lol :💀

    • @MoFace
      @MoFace  4 месяца назад

      @@isaacseldon4458 No i really think you're on to something there! The forums could be localized as well, or the users whose rituals didn't work could be people who are not located in the town and elsewhere in the world. Definitely plausible if you ask me!

    I’m on the 14th page of my Google doc script about PK and I ended up finding this! I’m glad I was able to find somebody else who was passionate about PK lore! This video provided a lot of insight!
    Right now, I’m not deep in the Paper Lily game as I want to focus full force on Project Kat because I have one question:
    What were the questions Kat had? Despite knowing that she was most likely going to die, she persisted and was willing to risk her life.
    Throughout the game, it constantly changed, as the girl Kat talked to in the flashback stated that she would not find “HIM,” which made me think that she was just looking for her dad.
    Later in the game, the demon said something about “THEM.”
    I believe that there’s something she’s not telling Anne(her friend in the flashback), and while I theorized that she was trying to find her dad, I realized that it could be WAY deeper than that.
    What do you think the questions are?
    Also, I took notes from your videos and put down some takes in the reply section you could take a look at. It might be relevant, though I’m not sure.

      Takes:
      Little Kat could be the young Kat we’ve seen in the study rooms. Her father or somebody else could have created her based on their memory from last time they saw her.
      In the Wiki, the end text mentions that dismembered like sounds can be heard when the creature kills Kat, and it could be possible that her torso could have been taken completely off for future use. However, I have two reasons to disapprove this; you mentioned that Lilith aims for specific test subjects, which probably means that there could be something special about each of them. Kat was not a chosen subject.
      Two, since it sounded more like a snap sound(and because the demon indirectly threatened to her snap her) I feel as if it would be hard to take the torso clean off with the snapping method.
      But because it’s not clear how she died, the demon could have simply snapped her head off and saved the rest for later in order to retrieve a full clean torso.
      Here’s a leading no brainer take I found similar to the beginning:
      When the demon at the beginning tells Kat that she shouldn’t miss with things that don’t belong to her, she was referring to the envelope within the drawer.
      That’s about it for now.

      Excellent points! I'm also not very deep into Paper Lily yet! I've played it and want to start writing a script about it soon after I finish up my latest idea. As far as Kat's questions, if it was something she was willing to die for, maybe she wanted to become something "greater" to be a part of the supernatural world she was so skeptical of? She also could've been willing to die to help her father if she loved him so much. Hard to say really, but I do hope we learn more about her and her father's fate in Chapter 2 of Paper Lily!

      @@MoFace Paper Lily is a HUGE carry for Project Kat right now, so imagine the second chapter!
      Her father is definitely a huge factor as to why she’s doing this, but what I don’t understand is the demon in the beginning telling her that she’s not ready for the truth.
      It could relate to her father being Glenn and conducting experiments below(something she might not wanna know about) but I feel as if one of the questions can only be answered by a demon who has greater knowledge beyond the human realm.
      It could also be the fact that no human is really willing to die, so her finally meeting a demon that could be in the lower rank gave her the idea of “maybe I don’t want to do this anymore…”
      It isn’t clear, so all we can do is hope the creators add some more lore.
