Rambly may very well be afraid that if Lloyd was so replaceable, what's to stop HIM being replaced?
He may resent the fact that Lloyd still has his self confidence while Rambly worries instead.
Rambly may be incredibly insecure; we have no idea just how self aware this adorable, AI raccoon could truely be (or have become in the years that he was left alone).

Okay, the genetic engineering, surgery, etc. of some sort that the animals underwent tieing into the whole cryo Disney story is definitely an angle I hadn't thought of and would be such a fun idea, if it was what all this was leading to!

Extending your life with animal parts reminds me of an episode of Tales from the Crypt called "Ear Today… Gone Tomorrow".

I'm going with the interpretation that the mascots were created in a Jurassic Park scenario, being genetically engineered in a lab. I haven't noticed any evidence of any human DNA or origins.

I do wonder how human they would be because they just seem like animals out of their natural state

My nod to human DNA integration comes from the anthropomorphic features of the animal mascots: the mascots’ humanlike height and size and Mollie Macaw’s hands. From the old death screen, it seems like she has an opposable thumb, and while some marsupials have opposable thumbs, humans and other members of the primate family do as well. Lloyd’s ability to walk on his hind legs is also interesting, as a lion’s spine isn’t quite as flexible or designed to do so unlike a human’s. However, I do like the genetically engineered idea, and could see these humanlike features I noted being comprised from other animal DNA as well!

Hi! Thank you for featuring my comment! I'm new to your channel, but I really love the chill atmosphere you provide!
I didn't realize before your last video that Goose stated Rambley is a parallel to Mickey and not just super inspired! I had already thought Lloyd came first, but that really felt like the missing puzzle piece!
I also find the retro plush thing very interesting. Rambley isn't just mad for himself in that moment. "Where's Mollie's!? Where's Finley's!?" I sometimes think this goes way beyond typical jealousy.
Also, leaning into your thoughts on long living animals, macaws in captivity live for a long time too. 65 years if well taken care of.

So glad you like it here and thanks for commenting! I agree! Rambley goes beyond just being jealous for sure, and your idea on Oswald really pushed me to flush out the ideas of Rambley's resentment more! 💜

@@MoFace I'm so excited, you made my day! Thank you~
I'm glad to hear it. Now I'm wondering how involved Lloyd's mascot was in the reason for the evacuation. Though I think we can assume not too much due to the critter cuff.

@MoFace theses creatures act like animals than people hunting mascots but all have unnatural eyes maybe not really in-universe but to make the game scarier

The theory that Rambley feels left behind because Isaac Indigo is dead is one I haven't heard before, and it feels like it could work a lot more than either of the "who replaced who" theories for the mascots
I'm curious how Salem fits into this, since she is stated to deliberately want to ruin Rambley's day, not Mollie and Finley or even Lloyd, just Rambley
What if both Lloyd being the original character and Rambley being the original are wrong? Since Lloyd has special merch, Rambley has "special" merch if you can even call gold spray paint special, but we never even see Salem plushies as a collectable in chapter 1, on top of that, there is literally no mention of her outside of the optional arcade console. (Yes I know she has a spot in Rambley's Railroad, but because of the glitches, Rambley skips over the segment entirely)
She hates Rambley because she was replaced by him as the star(sort of how Bonnie is effectively the main star of the fnaf games despite Freddy being the titular character since you always encounter Bonnie first), even though she was not the main focus of the Rambley and Pals cartoons that caused america to fall in love with the characters, she was clearly the antagonist of them, which is an equally if not more important role for the show.
Sure Rambley and co hate Lloyd because of how annoying he is, but we have never heard Mollie or Finley, or even Rambley's opinions on Salem Skunk(not mentioning Lloyd because we know he thinks Salem is beneath him, like everyone else)
