Mary it was my pleasure to meet you last weekend at the Harvest Festival! Although I was totally mortified on our drive home ( I think I may have almost gotten a little emotional when I met you) and feeling very sorry for you that I did that to you! Don’t have a clue what came over me! My husband knew then that he had scored big points for making sure we got there to meet you. We enjoyed the day so much though and you were such a highlight of it! Berlin is an absolute amazing and beautiful area of Ohio!

Your video was so cute; “conversation with John” where Mary talks with her hands for 20 minutes & John says 5 words 😂. Then you getting a running start to get up in the truck bed.

In August, my son and I went on a 164 mile yard sale. We were in a truck, but we ended up having to buy a trailer, so we could get a 100 year old door home. We had a lot of fun.
So funny! I'm from the Columbus Ohio area and I go twice a year to Amish country to thrift there. I'm always so happy to find sewing and unique vintage things. I guess the grass is always greener on the other side of the road. Thanks so much for taking us along.
I had to laugh just a little when cute little Mary in her lace trimmed dress was throwing chain link fence gates on the back of the truck.
As for the little house check the tax records with your government property tax office. You can find the property owner that way. Its public information . You can probably find it on line also. As for moving it, check with some of the companies that sell and move the large storage buildings. Also there are companies that actually have their own business of moving houses. Thats what my father did for a living. Pretty cool to see a house rolling down the street.

🌳About the house idea--how fabulous that you saw the dream cottage right there on your path! You could easily find a real estate agent to contact the property owner and get the ball rolling.
Maybe just building a cottage from reclaimed materials would work too? 'Orchard Cottage' has such a lovely ring to it!!! Good luck! 🏡

Could you move the little house to your orchards. It probably pretty be easy. Unless you have to go under high line wire then that is kind of expensive.

Mary, it was SO fun to meet you and MB at the Harvest Festival last weekend. And so fun to discuss your videos and our conversation about dealing with the darker couch. That is why we are stuck on replacing our couch! I have felt so inspired by our visit! I walk around my house looking at my hand me downs from my parents and seeing them with new decorating ideas. Love my pillow cover and table runner I got - they make me smile when I walk by them. Thank you for all you do and your wonderful soothing videos!

Mary,I encourage you to go back to the little orchard home and knock on there door & ask them! All they can do is say no.😊 Maybe they'd let you at least look at it. God has blessed us with an old farmhouse because we knocked on the door seeing if it's for sale. A few months later we were moved in. So go ahead and knock! ❤

Enjoyed the video immensely. I was born in Michigan, but spent many weeks, months in Columbus or southern Ohio. I remember growing up going to many garage sales down there. Spent a lot of time in Galloway and Upper Arlington. I still call myself a Buckeye. Many family memories there.
I feel that I have many things in common with you. I like your morals and lifestyle. We may not share the same religion, but your modest style is the same. I think most people of my generation who grew up in Ohio are humble honest people. Thanks for the interesting array of content. You have a way of keeping people looking forward to watching and learning from you. I might not comment all the time, but I do respond one way or another.
My husband and I do the same thing. My kids think we are crazy, but they are all grown up and we don’t need to be around all the time. It is good to have someone who you can go for an adventure with ❤️❤️❤️

Mary if you have never going to the Springfield Ohio antique show at the Clark county fairgrounds, you must GO! They have two Extravaganza (May and September). Most fun I have ever had shopping for vintage finds. There are also other antique malls..the Heart of Ohio Antique center is a complete day in itself.

When I saw that gate that you bought I felt like you would buy it! My mother in law had a dog lot for her dog,and when she moved in with us .The lot was torn down I just had to have the gate for my garden.I still have it and it has good memories of her for me! Ahhh Mary...thank you for taking us along on your garage sale trip...it was so much fun. Seeing you in one of your skirts or dresses and flip flops always makes me smile. I'm amazed at what you accomplish wearing flip flops...I'd smash one of my toes for sure...lol. The concrete birdbath was my favorite, too❤
That little cabin is Def movable if the structure is enact, if you want to contact the owners just look up the property in the county tax records which is public info and ask them.. Land and Home brokers do it all the time

I live just north of Columbus.it’s so nice to see you visiting. I have the same metal gate in my garden, I just hang a homemade Cottage Garden sign on it. Also have that same little bird feeder! I love the little cupboard you found. xxx

I have loved this little house for years it has sit there empty,stuck in time. I was surprised to see that it is still standing.
Wow, the prices you paid were amazing!!! That birdbath would have cost $100-$150 here in southern central PA! The cabinets were also beyond reason! You really got some great bargains!!!!
