@@iRollerboot This will be my first pair of aggressive inline skates, I used to just skate in a regular pair of fitness skates (I never really got anywhere with tricks).
That looks perfectly adequate. Don’t forget our sport was built on TRSs and OG Majestics, and similarly crap/cheap skates… there is no such thing as a “newbie” skate, just newbie bladers.

Wow, better than I thought they'd be. Really excited to see you rip. Cool that you put in a few teaser clips. Others have said it, this is a really cool idea that'll give newcomers and returning skates an affordable opinion to try out. Great job 👍👍👍
@@jimconnolly4106 Jim I’ve been looking and I can’t seem to actually find m12 basics (net of taxes and fees) that are the same price. Can’t you point me in that direction?
Great idea for a video. My guess is quality of materials will be the reasoning for the price discrepancy. As long as the shells hold up, everything appears upgradable. My guess is even those souls would work with other raised heel soul frames and a drill. That white liner inside the black shells looks good too. I always liked that Bauer style lacing area.
Btw as you mentioned rocking the wheels in or out, I thought for a second that you could rocker the outer wheels kind of when you skate slalom xd With so much wizard skating being so popular lately it could be a fun video idea to rocker aggressive skates for some fun spins.
Lots of people on a few Facebook groups were in just picked those up. You're right, they don't look bad, maybe even throw in some antirockers and some new footbeds and be good to go. I got my Sways from Skatepro as well, shipping was great too. (no sticker for me though)
@@okthisisthelasttimeipromise oh yeahhh... they were pretty much perfect when brand new but once they got a little rounded off it wasn’t as ideal but still really good. I wish I would’ve had a pair of K2 transfers in my size. Those probably had the biggest soul plate ever released. The only thing that rivals it are large shell xsjados. I only ever got to skate your K2s and they were way too big for me
Seem like a better version of the USD Realm, a similarly priced skate also for newbies. They were the first pair of skates I tried when I made my return to the sport, they barely lasted a year. The cuff is stitched to the shell instead of having the standard cuff bolts that like every other skate. That stitching gave out fairly quickly. I snapped the laces 2nd session. The wheels were dry-rotted out of the box. Looks like these fix all those issues, good to have a decent entry level skate.
@@JustAnotherBlader Fair enough, "Entry Level" was a better term. Basically meant the skate is targeted to people just starting. You could buy a pair for a kid who might change interests in a month. Or a pair for yourself and realize you don't have time, or it's too scary. Either case you're not out a fortune.
Looks like the frame is inspired by former USD/Kizer team frames which were mounted on Thrones ca 2004. The frame also uses parts of it. Especially the rockers and the nuts and bolts.
The skates that i use, are similar to these, the mold is that open mold that rollerblade used in their ufs Swindlers, but with worse soulplates But they are actually decent skates, I've been skating for almost 3 years and they held up pretty well I did some modifications bc the soulplate was like a smaller salomon soulplate (changed them to Xsjado 2.0 after like 8 months but the soulplates still work) and the frame was also like the salomon but without removable spacers and super tall, like a powerblading frame, changed them to Kizer slimlines after a year and a half xd Liners were pretty much the same than this Anarchy, but after like 2 years they worn out and started to hurt my ankle, so i switch them to fatboys (actually they felt sloppier at first, but when it molded after some use they have gotten better) I'm satisfied with this totally modified skate, it works perfect for me And i think that if you cant afford a better skate (or find, here in mexico is hard to find decent skates that aren't overpriced), these cheap options are pretty good to start, and you can always upgrade them with time
They don't look to bad for the money, probably better off spending just a little bit more on some USD Sways though, if only for the Fluid V frames and slightly better stock liner.
It’s true. I agree 100%. Paying just another $40-60 is 100% worth it. My thoughts behind the video are that some people (or parents) are invariably going to choose the cheapest option regardless.
The frames on those skates are like the generic-low-end frames with the 4 way rockering thingies...I have some skates with that style of frame and they rolled so slowly, changed the frames but kept the resk of the hardware the same and it was a night and day difference in rolling
My ex-wife took all my skates in the divorce settlement. These will be my "go to" skate. Damned pre-nups. But seriously, this video/review was needed. I think, as a whole, the sport is inundated with upgrades and options(not at all a bad thing), and it makes our sport not near as easily accessible in terms of price than say a skateboard.
