I just bought the Playlife Reactor aggressive skates today as a first aggressive skate. I was going to get the USD sway 60's but these were $120 less (Canadian) or about $86USD so I went with the Playlife for $203CAD ($150 USD). Glad I did because the Playlife quality looks amazing and most parts are replacable like you said. My foot is 10.5-11 US size 127.5cm long foot and the 43/44 EU size was perfect to a tiny bit snug but with 1.5cm still until my toe reached the end. The 45/46 next size up was too big. Just incase anyone is curious about sizing. Great review bro! And thanks!👊😃
@@blacky1617 Cool!🤙 Ya I skate them regularly and I still love them. But if you can find the USD Sway 57 get those because the liner is a little better and its pretty well the exact same skate. Not massively better but it has slightly better material. That being said the Reactor is great for the money and I can wear it with no discomfort for hours. I also have a wide foot.
Hey thanks for the video ! I've been doing aggressive skating for 15 years when I was younger, (it was 15 years ago, I'm 40 now). I want to do some again, but maybe a bit more chill. I have been ordering the m12 on Amazon for 170 euros and those are on their way. I'm now doubting about them being the right choice, as I don't only want to grind, but I'd like to also do ramp and cruising. Do you think I should send them back and get another pair, or shall I just buy 4 wheels to replace the anti rockers ? Thank you
I'd like a discussion on the durability of the entry level supplied wheels. In my experience they chunk and fall apart and basically need immediate replacement which really effects the price to start.
Ngl i been deciding between the sways and lomax, cuz the lomax looks more sweet and more hi tech and more percision like worth bregging that a tacoma stickshift was the first car u ever droven but my mind was made up when i found out that the lomax are made of plastic in come in one piece while the sways r made of steel and in my mind of what i find cool is a skate with steel material and they can still switched out still they look very sweet then most of the skates
I agree with most of the selection, but I personally would trade the TNEC for some Razor Shift. Basically the same price with years or tried and tested quality.
I just bought some m12's online from the roces store. Their chart said to buy size 11 , my regular shoe size is 12 though so I bought 12 because I heard people say they run small. I am still a beginner and learning how to turn and stop efficeintly but I found that I love attempting ramps so I guess I am running before I can crawl lol. Hopefully in a couple days when they arrive , I will have fun.
Cheers for watching. Great choice, skates-wise and size-wise. I was similar to that. I was skating the half pipe before I could skate backwards. I hope you have a good session when they arrive 🙏🙏
@@RoboRichie87 it wasnt for me, aftrr break in the same size as my shoe ended up fitting like a glove. A month of daily use and they don't give me any pain or soreness. Could just be my feet but id say go with what you think is right. I know in regular boot sizes (nonskate) I wear size 12 so i figured it would be similar. Turns out it was.
GREAT INFO THANK YOU LOOKING FOR A SKATE FOR MY DAUGHTER SHE WANTS TO GIVE AGGRESSIVES A GO. WE'RE IN NZ. THE TNEC 58'S WERE RECOMMENDED TO ME BUT JUST WONDERING IF THEY MAY BE TOO BAGGY FOR HER. SHES 11 WITH A SLENDER 23.5CM LONG FOOT. WHAT WOULD YOUR RECOMMENDATION BE FOR THIS SMALLER NON-ADULT FOOT? STILL THE TNEC? OR??? SHES NOT TOO GNARLY I IMAGINE SHE WOULD BE MORE INTO RAMPS, STYLING AROUND THE PARK AND SOME SPEED BEFORE RAILS AND SUCH.
I skated for about 10yrs straight, then I stopped and now it's been about 20yrs (am 40yro) without skating. I'm looking to get back into skating, was debating getting the FR UFR AP boots so I can get bigger wheels frames to cruise & small ones if I wanna try to grind again (starting easy with frontside, soul, etc.), but am not sure yet. I have a skate park near my house so would like to try and do small ramps & gaps. What would you recommend? If not, I was looking at the Razor Genesys or possibly RB Blank SK? TIA! PS - I also have bigger feet so my choices seems to be limited (296mm x 105mm), thanks!
@@jacquesdupontd haha nice, I ordered the FR URF AP Intuition boots Friday night, so just waiting on them now. Also got the OYSI classic frame and also got the FLT3 frame since (was only $30) where I can use the 60mm middle wheels from my OYSI frame to have an anti-rocker set-up! Def got a helmet and all pads since I'm not a spring chicken anymore! Good luck with the Roces, my first pair were Roces FCO Rome back in the days!
I’ve only skated on 1988 rollerblade lightenings that I bought used in 1994 & they finally disintegrated. I had 64mm 82A wheels for the last 20 years on them. Which skates of today would feel most like those relics? Thx!! 🤍
No Standard Omni? AEON are my recommendation for a starter skate. They are roomy and fool proof. Decent ebough wheels, liner is OK and the rest ia irrelevant.
The Omnis are out of the price bracket I was going for. Plus they take a little to much work to get skatable right now for me to recomend to a beginner. Aeons are great. I completely agree
So I’m looking at getting in to skating my foot has a high instep and like a single E wide foot I want something that I can do a lot of different things like street and some park what you recommend? I’m also a big fan of crazy colors so something I can customize
The Roces 5th Element, Razors Genesis, Faction Tactical v1, Seba CJ/CJ2/CJ Prime, and Gawds Team skate are all great for wide feet. The Razors SL, USD Sway, and Rollerblade Blank skates are fairly forgiving as well widthwise for some people.
Cheers for watching! Joseph has some good advice. I would get in touch with a skateshop for the best info, even if it's just via email, but Roces 5th is what I would recomend.
USD just released some adjustable size skates that would be great if they don't mind the look of them. They're called the Glitch powerslide.com/products/usd-glitch-adj Should be able to find it at any skate shop. I would recomend not getting skates that are much too big for them as this makes skating much harder but I would also recomend any of the skates mentioned in this video if their smallest size is close to what you need. Roces M12s, Them 909s, All Razor Skates & USD Aeons have some of the smallest sizing that aren't kids skates. All of them would be great. I hope this helps, if you need some better info, reach out to a skate shop, they will be better than me at finding the best skates for your needs. I can reccomend a skateshop if you don't have one in mind.

Some of the M12 Lo's are also very cheap or on sale often like the team Malva. The frame on the Lo's is better
