There was a big chance that this print fails regardless of the buildplate. Looks like the parts in this orientation create a big suction cup in the long area because they are open to the bottom and closed on the buildplate. I had lots of failures in the beginning because of this issue, too. Until I figured it out. Always orient the parts in a way that avoids creating this or leave a breathing hole at the highest point if possible.
I’ve watched two of your videos on levelling the M3 max. Why don’t you use the Z=0 after you tighten up the bolts on the build plate. Just using the home button won’t set the Z limiter switch. Maybe I’m wrong but this is how Anycubic say you should level the build plate.
I am having the same issue with the build plate jumping once it reaches the bottom... I think the Z axis limit switch tab needs to be larger to accommodate the increase in thickness of the build platform due to flex plate. You hear this at 16:05....
Hey there, quick question. What print settings do you use for your standard grey resin? I just ran my first print on the Photon M3 Max, and it failed. I was at 1S normal exposure time for a 0.02 mm layer height. It looks like it just needs more exposure time, but I’m trying to keep print time as short as possible. I’m going to shoot for 1.5S normal exposure time for .02 mm layer height on my next test with standard grey, but I’d would be great to know what settings worked for you. Thanks in advance! I know 2.5S Normal exposure works well with 0.025 mm layer height on my elegoo Saturn, but I’m hoping to get better performance out of the M3 Max.
I can use a the sharp edge of a scraper to pop a print right of the build plate. Why are these necessary? Don't they just introduce another point of possible failure?
Thank you ❤

It's really all down to the bottom exposure. If you put this at an angle it will never be flat 👍🏻🔥
Another awesome video my friend 🎉
Thank you so much 😁🔥

Fair point but I set the level when it goes to home and level from there. 👍🏻🔥
Great vid mate.
Thank you 😊

Yes, I totally agree but it always did it straight from the box, it hasn't effected the prints yet 🔥😀
you tighten the bolts in the corners of the build plate, but you did not set it toz=0
You were so lucky that your bed didn't smash through your screen 😂 wham bam recommends a z limit switch adapter to raise it a small amount
Still printing with no broken screen 😁🔥
@@FL4MEWITHA4 oh I know you would be, it would of broke on the first home if it was going too
With this magnetic you have to make the Z all the time ? or it s in a good position for a moment ?
You just need to re-level the bed and that's it 👍🏻😴

I do have the settings in this video, but feel free to contact me via email or facebook and we can have a chat, Kind regards 😀🔥
Mine is doing the same thing but dont stop bouncing and making that noise, what can i do?
@@fernandoherrera-wx9mk can you find us and send us a video of what it's doing please 👍🏻🔥
Just try increasing bottom layers exposure time.

i just uv welded some neodmium magnets on top side of the aluminm build plate and put the magnetic flex plates on never give me issue
Awesome 👍🏻🔥
One day, my print stuck to the film and completely removed the magnetic plate. How can I paste it again? Anyone have any ideas?
Best to buy just the sticker and restick it 👍🏻 it's a nightmare 😞👍🏻🔥
Buying a flexplate and stil uses a scraper 😂😂😂😂
🤣
