Actually I'm going to buy 7 skeins of yarn. How many stitches do I do for the starting row because I really wanna make this blanket
I am not sure. But the yarn is super jumbo size so it takes a lot of skeins to make a blanket.
Does crocheting into the FLO make the blanket more dense with smaller holes?
Likely less dense if you are just crocheting into the front loop only (flo). Makes drape just a bit looser.
If you can't get to Walmart for the Q hook, just try the end of a broomstick! Wow.

Yes, definitely. Just crochet your chain to desired width.
