Just stumbled upon your channel. I've watched a dozen people react to this movie and yours is byfar the best. Your genuine laughter has left me smiling and feeling great. Thanks
Sadly ironic that at the 44:35 mark they very prominently show the Hancock tower in Chicago where a few years later Chris Farley would be found dead in his apartment from a drug overdose!!😢
Chris Farley is one of my childhood favorites. I miss him. Here's a few other movies he starred in: • Black Sheep • Beverly Hills Ninja • Almost Heroes • Dirty Work (As a side character in a Norm Macdonald lead film) The last two named were the last two movies he was in. He was also the one who was originally supposed to play Shrek in the animated Shrek movie. But he sadly passed away right before finishing all of his lines. So they gave Mike Myers the role, but supposedly he would only do it if they rewrote the script (if the information I read was correct). So they rewrote it to fit him, and they gave it a different animation style. There is only one scene in the movie that they didn't change, and it was the campfire scene with Shrek and Donkey. If you search RUclips, you can find the rough draft of the scene with Chris Farley and Eddie Murphy doing their lines.. I heard that there's a Chris Farley joke that was inserted in the Mike Myers Shrek movie, but I forgot what it was.
What makes this movie even better for me is the fact that David Spade and Chris Farley were best friends in real life. The "Fat guy in a little coat" originated when Spade and Farley shared an office at SNL. Rumor has it David was in a bad mood one day and Chris was trying to get a laugh out of him so he put on Davids coat and....
Jim Carrey began his career as a stand-up comedian with less-than-stellar impersonations in the '80s and achieved his major breakthrough on the show 'In Living Color' from 1990 to 1994. He auditioned for SNL for the 1980-81 season but was not selected. Following his immense popularity on 'In Living Color,' he starred in six movies between 1994 and 1996, all of which were box office hits, and subsequently commanded a fee of $20 million per film, starting with 'The Cable Guy.'
I miss Chris Farley... watched everyone of his skits in the 90's. Such a great decade for SNL. So many good actors came from it. If you haven't seen Grown ups 2, that would be an awesome one to react to. Really enjoyed your reaction.
Until I found your channel l didn't know I needed the two.of you, watching tommy boy,in my life.the way both of you graspthe.concept of the movies so fast, and your infectious laughter, made my day today
Chris Farley was like a Modern Day Jackie Gleason. Light on his feet for a big man. He also had the ability to make you laugh and also draw empathy if need be.
This film has two of my favorite throwaway sight gags. The moment Spade goes into the planes restroom and quick changes, then the combover reveal from the engine. I always laugh when I see it.
David Spade and Chris Farley were actually best friends in real life and worked for years together on SNL. I think they also did 1 or 2 more movies together. Best of all for all of us is you can really feel that chemistry and friendship on screen. RIP Chris Farley, what a legend. ❤️😎🙏
The "Fat guy in a little coat" bit is based on an event were both Chris Farley & David Spade were in the office trying to write some new material for Saturday Night Live. I don't know If it was out of boredom or If Farley did it just to get a laugh from Spade, but he took Spade's coat, did the dance & sang "Fat guy in a little coat" & he accidently ripped it in pieces 😂 I miss Chris Farley 😔 He did a lot of funny bits on SNL, but my favorite was his Matt Foley, Motivational Speaker skits. "And I live IN A VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER!" 😂🤣

Great reaction. I fell in love with your laughter for this movie and had to subscribe. Hope to watch more of your reactions. Chris Farley was an amazing kind funny guy. Miss him a lot ❤
Just came over here from your Cast Away reaction. This is another movie I loved growing up. Chris Farley was one of my favorites when I was a kid. It continues to be one of my favorite 90s comedies.
John Belushi was Chris's heroe from SNL's original cast but sadly John passed away at the age of 33 due to a drug overdose. BTW, Robin Williams was in the living room with a closed door to the bathroom where John died behind a closed door. He was in the police station for hours about it. Ironically Chris died from a drug overdose at that same age from the same thing
Seriously, I just found this today and i knew within 5 seconds this was going to be good. The lady's reaction (sorry, first time and still learning names, Jessica maybe?) to the very first Tommy running into the door sealed it for me. This was going to be my kind of reaction. Looking forward to checking out others as well.
Hi there, we're so happy you found us! You're going to love "Dumb and Dumber", "Happy Gilmore" and "Liar Liar." Thanks for watching! We appreciate it! (:
This was filmed primarily in Los Angeles and Toronto. I have a t-shirt that says hello my name is Jack MeHoff Chris gave these t-shirts to all his friends and family when Black Sheep (1996) movie was done. He was a nice guy lit up the room everywhere he went and a good friend.
Little Fun Facts: The person in the white suit sitting next to tommy right before his father called him on stage is Chris Farley's brother kevin also towards the end where tommy took over the company where he says " Rob you where there" is Chris' other brother John
Cool I didn’t know that about the wet streets and you see them in tons of movies The only cinematic mystery left is why you cry in EVERY film you watch I mean Tommy Boy
Hi there, thanks so much for watching and commenting. Regarding the mystery, here's the answer: The reason why I cry or tear up during movies is because I’m in touch with the human condition. I feel like a healthy and strong human being who is able to relate to the character’s journey and feelings. It’s almost like an “art” to be able to do that. Technically speaking, that’s what movies are made for, to entertain and to let us emotionally and intellectually experience a story so we can grow and evolve as a human being. I have studied acting and screenwriting and even some psychology and philosophy to become a more sympathetic person and a better artist. I hope this answers your question. ((:
I know my post won't be seen, but I just have to say I miss chris Farley, so much, he was so amazing. He could have done so much more. He was my hero and I cried when he died.
Hi Rex, ever since we started this channel (January 2024), I have SEEN and ANSWERED every single posting, so I won't make an exception on yours. 31:23 - I had the hood slam open on me when I was traveling from high school to welding school. I was in an old 4 cylinder Nissan truck, and the hood latch was broken and held down with a rubber cord. I was angry thinking about my dad being angry towards me earlier that morning when I dropped him off at work. So on a straight stretch of single lane highway, I saw that there wasn't any cops, so I stomped on the gas. I probably got up to about 90mph, and a dump truck approached in the opposite lane. At the last second, I remembered the hood being held by the rubber cord. So I let off the gas and started on the brake as the dump truck passed. The initial wind from the dump truck caused the hood to slightly open, but close. So I was briefly relieved that the cord held, until another larger gust of wind followed and slammed the hood against the windshield. I immediately hit the brakes. I thought I heard something and looked into the sideview mirrors and saw a cloud of smoke behind me from me locking my brakes. So I let off the brakes. I couldn't see anything as I continued to fly down the straight stretch, so I tried to keep it as straight as I could, and rolled down my window and stuck my head out. Then I pulled off on a nearby dirt road and closed the hood. The hood hinges were mangled and the windshield was cracked, and the tires had a flat surface from locking my brakes. But thankfully I was okay. Lol
Please react to the Saban’s Power Rangers 2017 Movie!!! It is a very goooood movie. You may look at the name and think it is childish and cheesy. But it is hilarious and shows the growth of friendship and trustworthy. I swear it is a must watch.❤
No kidding, I grew up sailing pretty young. (not rich, couldn't afford a speed boat) But.. my dad would yell from shore , " you're pinching" haha nothing meaning about dingys. He was saying I was heading too much up wind for efficient sailing.
Ok you want a laugh. Look up the snl skit matt Foley, living in a van doen by the river. They break character, he actually falls and destroys a prop coffee table by accident but stays in character..it's great
Omg! Im 22 minutes in and your laugh is absolutely contagious 😂 Jessica, your awesome. I was hoping you would like some 90's humor. Especially David Spade. His sarcasm is hilarious. Some people, for probably PC reasons, think the fat jokes can be offensive lol. But thats what alot of the humor was back then. Im guessing this came out before your time. I was like 14, 15yrs old when this came out. Just about everyone from that SNL era was/is successful, very famous. Which is rare. You had Chris Farley, David Spade, Adam Sandler, Norm MacDonald, Will Farrell. They ALL became very famous, very successful. Sadly Chris Farley, the life of the party, died a couple years later. My generation was crushed when he died in 1997..i think it was 97'. I didn't know he had a drug problem at the time. He had demons he battled. He was just a dude from Wisconsin, a devout Catholic(crazy huh?). I definitely hit the subscribe button. I absolutely love your laugh. I was eating while watching this and i almost spit my food out a couple times lol and im just 22 minutes in. Edit: thank you guys, Jessica, you're great. Your laugh really made my day. I had a crazy day lol. You said Chris Farley was "endearing." That was Farley, he was just being himself. You can watch clips of his old SNL days. The dude was just... being Chris lol. That's why he's so missed.
Aw, thanks for all that, it made our day! So happy to hear that you're getting so much joy out of this. We had to create 22 different versions of this movie until we passed the copyright bots (watch the "Afterthoughts" video). Thanks for watching! (:
@@BossMovieReactions Well, you guys are killing it. Your edits, your whole presentation is beautiful. Your girl is a real gem. Hold onto that woman. You can just tell she's intelligent, but not snobby. And she has a great sense of humor. If she can laugh at fat jokes, in today's society, keep her lol. I believe today's PC today is killing creativity.
@@BossMovieReactions It's sad because this ideology would never allow studios to make shows like The Sopranos, Goodfellas, The Godfather, Fight Club, Seven, Devil's Advocate. I could go on and on. I believe it's hurting this business. I used to spend well over thousands on movies. Now I don't and I have the money to spend. So now I'm stocking up on older movies like One Flew over the Cooko's Nest, another movie that under this ideology, would never be allowed to be made.
Love your channel, you guys don't talk to much and I can tell it's your first time watching, awesome, Butterfly Effect is an amazing film Keep it up, and also A Time to Kill is amazing, I love movies, keep it up!!!
" Tommy Want Wingy " 🤗 I remember when this was a meme all over the place . there's actually a couple of Tommy Want Wingy chicken joints the most famous one is in Austin Texas , great college town perfect spot for the late night munchies .🐔🐔 Edit : I actually won a Trivia night prize for answering the Question . " What was the name of the restaurant where Tommy orders the Chicken Wings ? . . . . answer : " The Cluck Bucket '
If you like this movie, you HAVE to do Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. I consider it the funniest movie of all time and it has tons of heart to boot. You will be moved to tears likely. Keep up the good work guys! Love your reactions:)
27:01 Most deer aren't hit by cars in the daytime. Its 95% at night. Deer are attracted to lights. I hit a deer in my Ford Ranger driving at night. If you do hit a deer, you just leave it there. It's called roadkill. Deer are ubiquitous where I live and a hazard because the number of deer hunters is dropping. Deer aren't that bright.
Thanks for that extra info! Also, when the "deer" walks onto the street 27:00, the legs actually belong to a goat (painted brown). I talk about it in my "Afterthoughts" video. Anyway, thx for watching! (:
You should do a reaction video on "Kung powl enter the fist" not many have reacted to it but I believe it to be a comedy genius and knowing you and your wife are in the film industry I think you will understand the type of comedy it portrays love ya both God bless
Rest in peace to Chris Farley. He was a great comic actor and SNL was nevrr the same after no more Van Down By the River skit. He was like this in his normal everyday life. Just Druga got the better of him
Another fun reaction. If you like the opposites concept then you would enjoy a classic comedy called The Odd Couple if you’ve never seen it. A couple of other good comedies are The Heartbreak Kid, Tropic Thunder and Team America. If you’re unfamiliar with them. The last two are not politically correct which I love.
Yeah, not politically correct can be funny! Thank you so much for watching and commenting! We appreciate it! I put your suggestions on our list. Thanks! (:
Thanks for the great videos and for not being phonies like some reactors for views. Yeah, it's a real shame he had chronic depression and was a bit gullible and easily persuaded, my have not over dosed if he had more self confidence and more control.
they pretty much forced chris and david to make a follow up Black Sheep. Which was a box office disappointment and not as good. Chris Farrelly was suppose to voice Shrek but passed before the movie was finished. he had recorded about 80% of the dialogue but the producers decided to recast with Mike Myers taking over the role
Bo Derek's husband was very jealous and he made her cut her hair short for this movie because he thought she looked too good. It sounds crazy but it's true.. he failed miserably because she is still gorgeous👍🏼
I happened to see a headline yesterday saying that they were considering a certain actor to play Chris Farley in a biopic about him. I didn't know one was going to be made. If one one is made, I hope they do it justice. 😬 Hard to have faith in that though. I remember seeing a viral video of a guy impersonating Chris Farley around a campfire, and he actually did his voice so well, and kinda looked like him a little bit.
That was great! Thank you, guys! You made my day again … actually at least the whole weekend. When anybody hears Jessica laughing, nothing else but good mood can follow. I very much expected your next reaction to be to a comedy … and you didn’t let me down. You never let anybody down. Whenever it may be, I’ll patiently wait for Just Visiting. For some strange reason, I can not watch the afterthoughts - it says something like “your computer can not play this video” … it has to be something about my computer (it is pretty old). I always try to give back, even if only a little - this time it is something healing for the soul: ruclips.net/video/ovj5dzMxzmc/видео.html Looking forward to your next reaction. 29:07 - Something that's always bothered me about many movies and video games, as an outdoorsman: I'm pretty sure that species of deer isn't a species that we have in America. Several movies and games often use the wrong species, or they give them the wrong name, or they give them a vocal call that's of a completely different animal like a cow, a moose, or an elk.. You'd think they would do a simple Google search before doing all the work. 29:29 - That's an actual species that's native to America. Notice the difference in the antlers.
Haha, yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if you're right. I know that the legs at 27:00 belonged to a GOAT... I talked about it in my "Afterthoughts" video ruclips.net/video/Fxq3eudcxGI/видео.htmlsi=VI2PDUteorTEo4gJ

I pride my green Callahan Auto Parts T-shirt
Haha, great, I hope it has a guarantee on it! ((:
Lol
Whoa, that's quite a scary story!! Happy ur ok!! (:
Please react to the Saban’s Power Rangers 2017 Movie!!! It is a very goooood movie. You may look at the name and think it is childish and cheesy. But it is hilarious and shows the growth of friendship and trustworthy. I swear it is a must watch.❤
I put that sucker on the list, thanks! And thanks for watching! (:
@@BossMovieReactionsyour very welcome🎉
OMGGGG this movie is sooo good!! must watch
This movie is always great.👍🏼🔥
Yes, so much fun! Thx for watching! (:
You should react to The Coneheads next. It has a lot of the same SNL actors from that era.
Thank you so much for watching and commenting! We appreciate it! I put your suggestions on our list. Thanks! (:
No kidding, I grew up sailing pretty young. (not rich, couldn't afford a speed boat) But.. my dad would yell from shore
, " you're pinching" haha nothing meaning about dingys. He was saying I was heading too much up wind for efficient sailing.
Haha, that's great! Nice memory-flash! (:
At the wedding that man sitting next to Chris Farley is his brother
Yeah, someone else pointed that out... Had no idea. Thanks. (:
Ok you want a laugh. Look up the snl skit matt Foley, living in a van doen by the river. They break character, he actually falls and destroys a prop coffee table by accident but stays in character..it's great
Haha, thanks. "I wish you would shut your big yapper!" ((:
Omg! Im 22 minutes in and your laugh is absolutely contagious 😂
Jessica, your awesome.
@@Detwhat Yes, we both don't buy into all that PC crap and yes, Jessica is a real gem. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. ((:
@@BossMovieReactions It's sad because this ideology would never allow studios to make shows like The Sopranos, Goodfellas, The Godfather, Fight Club, Seven, Devil's Advocate. I could go on and on. I believe it's hurting this business. I used to spend well over thousands on movies. Now I don't and I have the money to spend. So now I'm stocking up on older movies like One Flew over the Cooko's Nest, another movie that under this ideology, would never be allowed to be made.
@@Detwhat 😎👍
The hood flying up thing ...
Ive had that happen to me 3 times 🤦
Really? Wow, that would be such a scary thing. Happy you're ok! (:
This is my favorite movie, have you watched Black Sheep Yet? It's kind of the sequel. Great laugh!
Thanks for watching! "Black Sheep" is on our list! (:
Love your channel, you guys don't talk to much and I can tell it's your first time watching, awesome, Butterfly Effect is an amazing film
Keep it up, and also A Time to Kill is amazing, I love movies, keep it up!!!
Thank you so much for watching and commenting! We appreciate it! I put your suggestions on our list. Thanks! (:
" Tommy Want Wingy " 🤗 I remember when this was a meme all over the place . there's actually a couple of Tommy Want Wingy chicken
joints the most famous one is in Austin Texas , great college town perfect spot for the late night munchies .🐔🐔
Edit : I actually won a Trivia night prize for answering the Question . " What was the name of the restaurant where Tommy orders the
Chicken Wings ? . . . .
answer : " The Cluck Bucket '
Haha, that's great. I had no idea about the memes or the joints. That's awesome! Thanks for sharing and congrats on winning the Trivia prize!! (:
If you like this movie, you HAVE to do Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. I consider it the funniest movie of all time and it has tons of heart to boot. You will be moved to tears likely. Keep up the good work guys! Love your reactions:)
Thank you so much for watching and commenting! We appreciate it! Your suggestion is already on our list. Thanks! (:
I think of my father when Tommy passes. I was a lot younger. My father was my hero
Aw, so nice to hear that your dad was your hero! Thanks for watching! (:
LaFonda! Give my regards to Chip!😂😎
Thanks for watching, WiseGuy! 😎👍
Need to watch - Planes, Trains and Automobiles
Yep, that movie is on our list! Thanks! (:
Rest in peace Chris Farley
Yeah, sad... Too young. RIP --- Thanks for watching! We appreciate it! (:
Loved the reaction very funny, another great comedy movie from Chris Farley is Beverly Hills Ninja I think you would enjoy that.
Thank you so much for watching and commenting! We appreciate it! I put your suggestions on our list. Thanks! (:
Never heard of that one. Thx! And thanks for watching! We appreciate it! God bless as well! (:
Spade is the king of snark. He’s legendary in Joe Dirt.
And obviously Black Sheep to see these two together again.
Yeah, snark indeed! ((:
Black Sheep is really good with Chris and Joe Dirt with David Spade
Yep, that sucker is on our list! Thanks! (:
Rest in peace to Chris Farley. He was a great comic actor and SNL was nevrr the same after no more Van Down By the River skit. He was like this in his normal everyday life. Just Druga got the better of him
Yeah, it's a sad story. RIP! He surely was a funny dude and a great comedic talent! (:
Y'all should watch Black Sheep next has Chris Farley and David Spade in it also...it is hilarious
On the list, Spike. Thanks for watching! We appreciate it! (:
The dad played in movie called to catch a killer he played john wayn gacy
Ah, thanks for sharing! (:
Great reaction. Would love to see you guys watch black sheep
It's on the list. Thanks for watching! We appreciate it! (:
Another fun reaction. If you like the opposites concept then you would enjoy a classic comedy called The Odd Couple if you’ve never seen it. A couple of other good comedies are The Heartbreak Kid, Tropic Thunder and Team America. If you’re unfamiliar with them. The last two are not politically correct which I love.
Yeah, not politically correct can be funny! Thank you so much for watching and commenting! We appreciate it! I put your suggestions on our list. Thanks! (:
@@BossMovieReactions cool but please make sure you do the original Odd Coupke with Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau

Yeah, Chris seems awesome. RIP. And thanks for watching! (:
Thanks for the great videos and for not being phonies like some reactors for views.
Yeah, it's a real shame he had chronic depression and was a bit gullible and easily persuaded, my have not over dosed if he had more self confidence and more control.
@@ericules5558 Thanks for your kind words. Yeah, depression, as you probably know, is extremely difficult to overcome.

Black Sheep. Its Chris and David part 2. They are so good together

Can't place the accent, Richard, where are you from originally?
Hi Gene, in case you're asking me (Mike), I'm originally from Switzerland (The Swiss-German part) -- Thanks for watching! (:
You need to watch Black sheep next. It is Chris Farley and David Spade👍🏼
On the list. Thanks for watching! We appreciate it! (:
they pretty much forced chris and david to make a follow up Black Sheep. Which was a box office disappointment and not as good.
Chris Farrelly was suppose to voice Shrek but passed before the movie was finished. he had recorded about 80% of the dialogue but the producers decided to recast with Mike Myers taking over the role
Thanks for the info! And thanks for watching! We appreciate it! (:
I’d say this movie holds a candle in comparison to Dumb and Dumber. It’s a consistently funny movie which I love
Yeah, this IS a funny one indeed! Thanks for watching! (:
Bo Derek's husband was very jealous and he made her cut her hair short for this movie because he thought she looked too good. It sounds crazy but it's true.. he failed miserably because she is still gorgeous👍🏼
Yes, I read that somewhere as well. A bit bizarre, huh? Thanks for watching! We appreciate it! (:
I happened to see a headline yesterday saying that they were considering a certain actor to play Chris Farley in a biopic about him.
I didn't know one was going to be made. If one one is made, I hope they do it justice. 😬 Hard to have faith in that though.
I remember seeing a viral video of a guy impersonating Chris Farley around a campfire, and he actually did his voice so well, and kinda looked like him a little bit.
Ah, interesting. I don't know much about him. Thanks for watching! We appreciate it! (:
Yep & the one who is gonna play Chris is Paul Walter Hauser, who played the lead in Richard Jewel.
4 min intros suck to be honest ...... just saying ..... Excellent reaction tho!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, that's why I made the "Chapters", so you can SKIP it. Thanks for watching tho!!!! We appreciate it! (:
please do almost heroes.

Sorry guys, Jim Carrey was never on Saturday Night Live, except for maybe as a guest
Yeah, I just looked it up, he hosted Saturday Night Live 3 times, Thanks for letting us know. (:
Carrey was on a similar skit show called In Living Color. Growing up in South Texas our TV didn't get the channel In Living Color aired 😆🤷♂️
As stupid and goofy as this movie is, that transition shot from Tommy's dad dying to his funeral is 100% legit cinema.
Yes, 100% agree! Thanks for watching along! (:
RIP CHRIS
Yes, indeed. A great comedic talent! Thx for watching! (:
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks x 10 (:
That was great! Thank you, guys!
You made my day again … actually at least the whole weekend. When anybody hears Jessica laughing, nothing else but good mood can follow. I very much expected your next reaction to be to a comedy … and you didn’t let me down. You never let anybody down. Whenever it may be, I’ll patiently wait for Just Visiting. For some strange reason, I can not watch the afterthoughts - it says something like “your computer can not play this video” … it has to be something about my computer (it is pretty old).
I always try to give back, even if only a little - this time it is something healing for the soul:

React to Man of steel. Henry Cavill as Superman.
