"She's like a ten." Not only was this true at the time, but this was also a reference to the 1979 movie Bo Derek starred in alongside Dudley Moore called "10"
Joe Dirt is legendary status. My nickname in the military was Dirty Joe Dirt because of that movie. There will be one time you pause it & walk away, guarantee…LOL
@@spiralboneshe's not wrong though. Think of all the movies Kevin James has been in and at least half of them would have gone to Chris Farley if he were alive.
Chris Farley's death is the first celebrity deaths that actually affected me and I grew up on this film and absolutely loved it then, and I still love it now. Although Black Sheep isn't as good, there are several scenes including the cabin scene and bunk bed scene (I won't say more than that), that are absolutely hilarious in that movie.
I consider this an unofficial SNL movie, even though it wasn't based on a sketch. Farley and Spade were still on the cast, flying between Toronto and NYC every week to film both. It was produced by Lorne Michaels, and written by the same writers as Wayne's World and Coneheads.
You cracking up the 1st time he yells, "listen up. This will only take a second," had me 😂 the security sliding their guns to him is hilarious. I love Black Sheep too. The cabin scene makes me laugh til I can't breathe.
one thing with farley spade etc with adam sandler is he never hesitates to connect their movies together, if you ever saw 50 1st dates, the doctor (also played by Dan Aykroyd) talks about how Callahan (company from this movie) funds their clinic
wait you aint seen joe dirt? ooooh man you in for a treat on that one hahaha chriss was one of a kind, james is like the cheap knock off we got lol, man i miss that ninja
Farley and spade were the original choices for shrek and donkey in the shrek movies but farley passed before that came to fruition in fact most of farleys dialog was already recorded for shrek but they scrapped it
Chris Farley was a gem. Gone way too soon. Him and David Spade were actually very good friends. David couldn’t even go to his funeral. He said he couldn’t be in a room where Chris was in a box. I wish I could’ve seen what Chris had to offer. A true talent. 😥
"Brothers don't shake hands. Brothers gotta hug." Fun Fact: The cow tipping scene was an idea that Rob Lowe pitched to the writers. Automobile Enthusiast Fact: The convertible is a 1967 Plymouth GTX with a 440 engine and Cragar SS wheels. Location Location Fact: The house used at the beginning of the movie and in the wedding scene is the McLaughlin home, which was owed by Col. Sam McLaughlin founder of GM Canada. Toupee Gag Fact: David Spade refused to let the set's stylist work on his hair. This accounts for his hair's tousled appearance in the film. Crew members would joke that his hair looked like a toupee, and that is what led to the gag where Richard's hair flies back which was a late addition to the film. David Spade's bald makeup took four hours to apply. After the film came out, people would walk up to David Spade and ask him if that's his real hair. Casting Notes Fact: Rob Lowe played the supporting role of Tommy's stepbrother and is uncredited. The reason for this is because he wanted to be a "happy surprise" after the script shifted focus (the film was originally centered around the relationship between Tommy and Paul). Rob was playing tennis with Lorne Michaels, and Lorne told him that he was about to start Tommy Boy (1995) and that he was considering him to play Chris Farley's brother. He ended up taking the part as a favor for Lorne, since he was previously in Wayne's World (1992).
Love watching your reactions, whenever I am not feelin great, can always come here and my mood is better! Ty for all the great comedic comments and work you do!
You really really need to watch "Almost Heroes" it's quite possibly Chris Farley's most underrated movie. Or just unknown, I never hear anyone talk about it but me and my dad repeat the lines word for word all the time.
Chris Farley was suppose to be in "Grown Ups" but when he died they put it on the back burner for like a decade then they got Kevin James to play his part. An Farley was the initial voice of Shrek (which he did some voice overs before he died but since he died it went to Mike Myers)
I'm SO GLAD you chose Tommy Boy!! No, it may not be the most realistic of movies, but it doesn't pretend to be; That's what makes it hilarious (the obviously fake moths, the deer, the clumsy editing outside the airplane restroom). This is also one of the few movies that I can watch over and over and not get sick of it. Also, I don't drink but if I did, I'd take a shot every time you say STFU. 😂 Stay funny and thanks for making my day yet again.
The shot of them looking down at his body transitioning to the funeral is money! Great stuff! Love this movie! Farley’s best movie! Hope you had a good time!
There's a twitch streamer who uses Chris Farley's sound clip for new followers. "New guy in the corner puking his guts out BLEUGGGH" which I always love
"I've seen a lot of things in my life but that was awesome!! Sorry about your car" "Tommy's a scorpio like biking and has never been laid" Some of my favorite comedic lines are in this movie. You should also check out "Black Sheep" which is another Chris Farley/David Spade movie.
I love this movie. My name is Richard, and friends and I would watch Tommy Boy every once in a while and without exception, after every time we watched it, I would hear "Shut up, Richard!" constantly for the next couple weeks.
Tommy’s father was in First Blood (Rambo) he was the sheriff that was harassing Rambo in the small town. This movie is a gem and still holds up to this day as a comedy classic. Farley and Spade were magic together, if you haven’t seen it, when you have the time check it out and watch SNL Matt Foley motivational speaker there is one with spade and Farley did all he could to get Spade to break on live TV. Farley was a GOAT. RIP to a legend, also there is a special called I Am Chris Farley and it is documentary about Chris’s life the good and bad times.
I'd love to see Jay check out Rob Lowe's movies, and then go react to him acting against type in Parks and Recreation. He's such a nice guy in real life, and it wasn't until Parks and Rec that he was able to actually be that for once.
SOO glad you watched this, J. Now you gotta watch Black Sheep (1996) for Farley & Spade's 2nd movie together. I personally have grown to love it maybe more than this one. I quote it with my buddy all the time, lol. Be easy Big Dawg..❤✌🏻
The cow tipping scene reminds me of the animated movie "Barn Yard" (main cow is actually voiced by Kevin James). It is a HILARIOUS movie...would make for a great reaction!
I love this is supposed to take place in Sandusky Ohio, its right near me and home of the greatest amusement park ever Cedar Point! ❤️ Chris Farley is so missed, him and Spade on SNL are so amazing too
It's real I've done it in Va. What they don't tell you is cows can get pissed off.. especially when you mistake a bull for a cow. Yes, liquor was involved 😅
Chris Farley was absolutely hilarious and definitely a Legend!!! What’s your favorite movie or role of his?

Chris Gave A lifetime Of memories For his short 33yrs 😪❤
Chris gave so much of his heart… I miss him, and I never even met him.

Never thought she was a 10. Always had those hideous skinny chicken legs.
The Dad is the Sheriff from RAMBO, FIRST BLOOD
My personal favorite that he was in is cocoon!
no kidding...
Gladiator the boxing movie was great too
It's Brian Dennehy.
The quintessential Willy Loman
Chris Farley and David Spade in the movie ( Black Sheep) is a funny movie as well.
The play basically the same characters but it is still good for some laughs.
Ro-ads.
Black Sheep is terrible. Tommy Boy was great, but Black Sheep was just dumb sight gags with hardly a plot.
@@Ryotsu2112it’s a must watch regardless of opinion.
Chris Farley: You will be living in a van down by the river.
Love David Spade. Please do Joe Dirt ❤

So many one liners and zingers in that movie 😆 i just don't wanna spoil any of them , its a classic!
His love interest in that movie had the hottest legs I’ve ever seen. I still remember her for that. True story.
Joe dirt is a must watch
Absolutely!
Kevin replaced Chris the way a Ford Escort replaces a Mustang.
Right? That kind of hurt when he said it. Kevin has a huge ego too.

Good to see someone already pointed this out. I cringed every time he mentioned Farley being "replaced."
Kevin never replaced Chris. Just sort of slimed in there
Black Sheep has GOT to come next. Farley and Spade back together and its just as nuts lolol.
And pretty good timing for current events...
The best comment of the whole video. "Oh they're some Lanisters!" 😂😂😂
That was great!
I already had my fists up to my chest and yelled out very loudly “STFU!!” when I saw the thumbnail!🤪🤣😎

I wish I hadn’t looked at the leaked pictures of his death. He brought so much joy to people and died alone after a prostitute left him to Od.
Black sheep with Chris and David is really funny as well
I've always loved this movie! Now you gotta watch Black Sheep with Farley and Spade
Watch the Chris Farley SNL "Chippendales" skit with Patrick Swayze. IMO the funniest skit in SNL's history.
