- These are both great toilets but the Cadet takes the win. Please suggest another test you'd like to see between two of my toilets.

Damn the cadets water level looked super high
You wouldn't want to clog one of those
yep
Wow, what a close match between two excellent toilets. The Cadet has more heavy-duty flushing potential while the Ingenium Wellworth has almost as good a performance on less than half the water.
I counted a final score of 2-2 on the performance tests, with the tiebreak going to the Ingenium Wellworth because of its vastly superior water efficiency (1.6 GPF vs. 3.5 GPF for the Cadet). Fantastic match!
The cadet would be better to install just as long as water isn’t scarce where you live, such as the American West.
I can't believe they both almost passed the test!
Yeah! Both are great toilets.
My grandma had an early 70s cadet in harvest gold. The flush noise reminds me of her house. PS: I wish American Standard would go back to the older logo because it's way cooler than that wimpy script they started doing in the early 90s.
Amazing toilets but the Cadet wins also awesome video as always
Thanks!
@@OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations you got a giant squeer toilet
I like both toilets but I prefer the cadet.
Yesterday I was at my lake beach and the mens bathroom has that Kohler wellworth ingenium your using. Yesterday when I flushed the toilet I held the handle down when the tank was empty and it double flushed!!!!!!!! And I was shocked and surprised at the same time!!!!!!! Can you make a video of your Kohler wellworth ingenium with an overfilled tank please????????????????
It's pretty uncommon for one of these to double flush. Usually when they're using more water than they're supposed to, they just flush longer but don't double flush. I did an overfilled tank test on an Ingenium that I recently tested so that will be posted eventually.
@@OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations Ok
LOVE the Cadet!
Nice! Can you do the 1980s plebe vs the 1980s wellworth WG?
Good suggestion
The Plebe would destroy the Waterguard
@@OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations #ObeyThePlebe
i love both of them
Dude I am terrified of toilets, have been sinse I was little but I like to watch these.
I hope they help you overcome your fear
I used to be terrified of toilets but videos like these helped me overcome that fear
Owen, I like the 74 cadet. It outperformed the WellWorth ingenium.
Notice how much smaller the Kohler tank is compared to American Standard.
Yep!
The cadet cost 700 dollars and it flushes and performs like a 700 dollar toilet ingenium is okay
I guarantee the Cadet cost way less than that but I certainly would expect it to perform well. It was made back when these companies cared about quality.
Your videos are the best😁
Thanks!
I heard the flapper closing 13:53
The original fill falve to my pro flush was slow and didn't fill to the correct height so i put in a black 400a from home Depot now it fills fast and to the correct height
The fill valves in those toilets are intentionally slow. It will not have time to refill the bowl if the tank fills at the normal speed. They restrict the water flow so that it can put enough water into the bowl for the next flash. I see this on Kohler too.
When an American standard cadet can’t take something, you already know that any other toilet can’t take it.
Yeah, except maybe a Class Five.
@@OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations oh yeah, forgot about that. I want to see a wellworth lite vs a class five, see one of the best compared to the worst..
@@OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorationsyou mean a kohler lowlife class -5
Do the 74 cadet vs that cadet that could take like 80 ft of toilet paper that was made back in the "standard" era. (I dont know which year that is)
It would destroy this
Wow, it’s already night time
Yep
Cadet is better
Personal opinion Don't fight over As and Kohler
13:51 Owen's phone, stop cutting the flush
I'm just kiddin'
Lol. Thankfully I have a timer on my phone now that tells me how much time I have left before the storage runs out.
Both are excellent toilets - obviously the Cadet has the edge on the performance due to the very high water level in the bowl and uses more water to flush. The Wellworth has the slightly more powerful flush.
I certainly agree there.
I would take the Cadet anytime
Put the wash cloth inside the grocery bag
That would stop it up
cool!
I like the Cadet more.
Same
cadet beats anything but i think both of them are great toilets!, ps: i think you should destroy those fill valves
Agreed, except I love those fill valves
The rounded bowl wellworths are not as good as the longer versions
I've seen the opposite
How come the ingenium has a different water line in the bowl?
Is it a different ingenium? A different one from when you tested an ingenium with a class five or the same one?
This is a Wellworth and the one I compared to a Class 5 was a Highline.
I'VE GOT TO BE PULLING ON MY OWN LEG
can you do the 2000s cadet agenst the 80s wellworth
Have fun swimming
Yeah, this house is a block away from the ocean so you bet!
2005 mansfield alto vs Kohler ingenium
3:42 is the problem with the small end traps
True
Do you have a standard cadet I was thinking if you did standard cadet vs American standard cadet
I do have a Standard Cadet!
What's that brown stuff?
Dirt
This video shows why I love all the older 3.5+ gpf toilets even more than Kohler Ingeniums, which are the best low flow!
Same
considering the wellworth uses 1/3 the water the cadet does, i think it is the winner
I'd still consider them about equal because the Cadet probably does better on normal use.
To be honest I dont understand why water levels on toilets are so high?
Probably so they stay clean
1974 AS cadet is my favorite cuz I want the 1974 AS cadet occ plumbing
Same, I like these.
Cadet flushes way better
Definitely
That particular AS Cadet looks like it has the AS Plebe trapway
They are a little different

Is A phsycho of Performance.
These Cadets are awesome
Is it night?
Yep
Get the bowling ball 😅
Lol
thought the cadet is better i would take the ingenium bc it uses less water to install, but they both great
I think the cadet would be better to install because the more water it uses, the more likely things will go down. As long as water isn’t scarce where you live, the toilet is great.
You should put the cadet in your bathroom
I already have one in my bathroom
I want both toilets
Come get them. You can have them for free if you want.
@@OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations ima be talking to virginian restroom tours and restorations for a toilet idk how many I'm allowed to have prob just one because small backyard
I don’t live in Texas anyway 😂
McDonald's fries chicken nuggets sweet n sour
Skibdi dop dop yes
Lol
Kohler ingenium is better 😁😐
I respect your opinion
I prefer the ingenium
Also WG vs 1st gen wellworth
For the rag and bag test I feel like the ingenium passed even though both clogged, the ingenium took it past the trap way which seems better. Idk just a thought
Cadet I wanted a cadet but I got the trash Briggs alnum.
Bummer
@@OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations yep I hope I get 1m dollars 💵 to buy a devoro
I don't have a cadet
You should try and get one!
Swirlrli fush on the cadet
Yeah, they do swirl a lot.
12:29 12:30 12:31
The Cadet wasn't doing so well
Be careful and stay
Sorry
