I'm amazed at the quality of production, even in the process of leaving NL and foul weather. Your shooting style is very thoughtful and pleasing to the eye. I bet you were happy to be escaping the cold and wet for warmer climes😅
Hey Jacob … wicked video my friend … good to see you was making some good decisions and good progress … still can’t believe your bad luck further down the path .. but I’m so glad you made a commitment to carry on once your repairs are completed … Bon voyage and safe sailing ⛵️ 🫶🏻
Ok, I watched your refit and preparation, as usual great footage and cannot wait for the next episode, I wish you all the best on your journey, Jakob! Laters!
Thanks!! What a video❤ Loved every minute of it. Beautiful, nice storytelling, exciting. You are coming up as one of my favorite sailing channels🫡 Just can’t wait fore more🤗Take care and good speed!
This is so full of memories for me. I also travelled from Amsterdam along the coast, putting in at a number of ports, but that was back in 1964 when I was 16. That trip was with two friends, without chart plotter and without autohelm of course. But the one thing I do remember was the strength of the current against the boat if we missed getting into port before the tide turned. It was brutal. I’d love to be your stowaway during your own fabulous journey and wish you wisdom and luck to remain safe.
Just saw the tracker update on your blog! Glad you made it to Camaret without loosing the boat. Hope you manage to make repairs and continue the voyage. I sailed through the Chenal du Four at night a couple times last year. There for the grace of god......
great company keep it up. I'll keep following you, just something about the heater / stove. You need to place the pump slightly more diagonally, like a slach ////. on your keyboard, so you have to take into account if you keep the exhaust very short that you may have problems when the boat is in the harbor with a strong wind on your exhaust.🙂👀👻👏 lookout For your vender outside your boat against the houst
Well done 👍🏻 Nice video 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I've been doing a refit for over 6 years (on and off) unfortunately 2020 delayed my plans badly. Now I am not alone, as I initially planned. Hopefully before this year Is over, we will finally leave 🌎🏴☠️🦜⛵⚓🙏🏻❤️
Ich kann das verstehen, wenn man das alleine nonstop macht aber ich persönlich würde es nicht alleine mit Stopps machen, weil man niemanden hat, mit dem man das so wirklich teilen kann

Do you have any plans to add a windvane to help with piloting the boat when you need to rest on passages?
I like your start and will follow. You need a better mike . The wind is disrupting the sound.
Nur weiter so

when did you leave lelystad?
You will really feel like the journey has begun when you leave Europe behind

Very nice video.great decision making. Do look after yourself though. No need to really push yourself all of the time?
Good luck!
