Austin thought they could handle the homeless, didn't even try to handle anything, and then reinstated the camping ban that drove a few out but the majority surround the city and are set up around bus stops.

Well (while this is funny) the government isn’t really allowed to give us orders/tell us what to do. The most they can do is ask us to do something, the states typically have more power than the government (at least that’s how it was originally built)

The fact that Ben wrote, recorded, and produced the last minute of this video ( which was brilliant ) in like 48hrs is great.
I heard the guy who stole the speaker's podium thingy was ding ding ding A florida man who did not vote for anybody since 2002 He came just for the chaos in true florida man fashion.
WV also had a delegate that was part of the group that stormed the Capitol as well. He resigned his seat shortly after.

POV: Me contemplating a move to FL just so I can see more of Ben's hilarity - maybe even in person - without a mask! Me: deciding to support him on Patreon instead because I like where I live and I will keep wearing a mask even after I get the vaccine.
This! Thank you! We need to keep supporting the mask method or the lack of momentum could reset things again, and frankly we won't really know if it's all done for a while longer than we think either. I personally plan to not stop wearing until at least 3 weeks after an uncompromised CDC declares we've reached the necessary vaccine threshold. Some may slip through the cracks and we wouldn't know for possibly two weeks at least while they're asymptomatic.
@@draconariousthegamer1444 just ran across a study from i think scientificjournals.gov or something like that the other day was talking about the ability to get it after having caught it before and how they are unsure if after the first your unable to recatch the vid but there was a report from China of someone who reportedly has; anyways they say if you have had it once you should have antibodies to fight it off but they are unsure how long those last for and that's a concern because the vaccine works much the same way and are unsure if it's going to start fading with time and require boosters.
Okay rather than exploding like I want to I'm gonna try to keep this simple. I said nothing about what you just completely tangented off to. Some people from Kentucky were at the coup and got arrested. A co-worker if mine saw a neighbor get arrested and later saw it on the news that he'd been linked to it. We just didn't have as many people surprisingly, outside of Louisville and Lexington we are red as FUCK

Normally extremely love these sketches but oh boy bud did the DC part rub me the wrong way-we’re an extremely diverse wildly democratic city with 700,000 people who have no representation in Congress and zero agency to protect ourselves when we’re overrun by Nazis a fact which hits different this week! Something about having CA archly teasing DC about this really insanely suckedddddd after this week and with knowing what kind of insane shit is coming-normally I don’t mind DC being just a representation of the government/vague neutrality, but in this situation it’s vitally important people understand we are not just the seat of government. We have more people than Wyoming and Vermont and we couldn’t even call a representative when white nationalists were literally storming our streets because we don’t have any, and our own mayor advised everyone to “avoid DC” (hard to do when you live here!) during the upcoming days because of very real threats of violence by people who don’t just storm the capitol, they rent airbnbs in our neighborhoods and walk around armed looking for a fight in this majority Black city. All that and DC went something like 93% for Biden and the same for Hillary so we very much did not want any of this shit. Idk man something to consider, tonally!

Maryland did secede from the South and join the North as far as the governor's conventions are concerned. I believe they said something along the lines of they were finding their interests aligned more with the Northeast now.

I don't think it would fit the context of his characters. Yes they represent reality, but like.. DC doesn't specifically represent the presidents in this, and Georgia turning blue is now cannon to his story and the Secretary of State who told Trump no is a Republican.
