The Candace bit: excellent the juxtaposition of the surreal nature of the bit compared to the seriousness of the fundamental content, really, really, really good.
As a reoccurring bit, is something I believe a lot of people would be looking forward to in 2024.
Candace as a surreal, quasi AI, sentient being who acts like an oracle could be scripted really nice without being lame or cheesy.

How does the nightsky compare to the star lab? I have a nightsky and love it but the star lab kinda expensive and I wonder if it’s worth the price jump + eurorack case etc.
They are basically almost the same. I feel he eruroack make more sense and is more versatile, but only if you already have a system going.

Great video! Did you try the Walrus Slöer ambient reverb pedal? If not, itself very delicious reverb with pitch tune lofi sound! Totally recommended for ambient soundscapes

Looking for my first synth - small and compact with lots of features. I have a decent budget..Maybe $1000.00 - 1500.00...What would you recommend? I like the Teenage Engineering but its just too expensive....Thoughts?
Save your money and focus on making music. If you really want hardware then Microfreak or MiniFreak, or maybe Hydrasynth. But seriously focus on the music first, hardware won't give you better music, only you can do that
For a more traditional analog synth, I would look into the Sequential Take 5, or Rev2 for that budget. Although, they may not be as compacet. If you are looking for something compact, a little more interesting, with a fun sequencer, then check out the Elektron Analog Four. And if you are looking for a compact FM style synth with a fun sequencer then check out the Elektron Digitone.
I want to go back to making music after 15 years, I used to do BoC kinda of idm. I have a budget of 1500. I would like a poly, a mono, a drum machine and a sequencer for 4 machined (i will add an FM synth)
suggestions?
Either save up more, go slowly, or keep a close eye on local synth BST forums. There are a lot of bargains to be had if you're willing to explore.
