I could not agree with you more in terms of OXI being the best sequencer out there. Thank you for the inspiration from someone who knows no music theory. OXI allows me to have fun. Cheers.
Can´t remember when I had so much fun with a piece of hardware since my first Virus. Got it when it came out, not expecting much develpoment later. Boy, was I wrong! With all the updates this thing got better and better. Wonderful machine.
Oxi makes the track easily evolving, and perfiurmer has its junoish sounds.. nice set up ! add an echo reverb and youre on the way for your inner self discovery adventure
Another superb video from you oora! Thank you for this demo!! Off to try it right now 🙂👍 - I’m proud oxi one owner for 2 weeks so still in the very beginning of this amazing tool allowing me (not pro, just total amateour) to enjoy music production.
Thanks for the video- but in the future could you put a closu up of the Oxi One's screen instead of the camera pointing at you? It would be great to be able to actually see what settings you are applying using the menu and it would make it easier to follow along. Just a suggestion.
This is amazing, far better than my NDLR with that tiny screen, it has a much better workflow, just that this is not available in my country, this is the only way I would buy one.
Thanks for this video Oora! I'm teared apart between buying Oxi One or just realesed Polyend Synth which You can use to latch not only two different internal synths but also external gear. Why I mentioned this ? Cuz Polyend Synth can do almost exactly the same thing You showed with Oxi. Still can't decide 😂 but at least I'm now sure Oxi can also do the trick. Cheers
I like this layout better than my Pyramid. I'm in the middle of soldering up a bunch of Adafruit Trellis boards into an 8x16 LED grid (and hating it), this might be a nice upgrade...
Hi @OoraMusic! One thing that I am really hoping someone could cover is the juxtaposition between Oxi One and Polyend Play. My perspective is that I am not working with Eurorack, so when I look at the recent Play 1.4 update and its fancy piano roll UI, it really makes me question whether someone couldn't use the Play as a sequencer in addition to its groovebox functionality. They have similar usage patterns and price points. I'm just trying to understand what I need One for in a non-Eurorack studio when I have a Play. Comparing two pieces of gear that have similar but different modalities is nuanced, but I feel like perhaps you're the hero we need, here?
The following points wjere I think the OXi one excels is: the internal modulation lanes, the modulation matrix with huge generative and creative possibilities and the different modes like chord, stochastic, matriceal. 4.0 will be huge too!
Hi Oora, I was listening you discography in iTunes and really like the sound the Mavis EP I'm looking for something analogo and semi-modular, and I think that Mavis or Strega could be a good options. Do you know o test Strega? Are they comparable? I would really appreciate your opinion. Thank you!
I notice you have the t-1 and the Oxi One, which one do you like better? Do you have certain things you do on the t/1 and other things do on the Oxi? Is there anything that torso can do that the Oxi cant? I just sold my T1 to get an Oxi it will be here tomorrow.
I was interested in this device but looking at the building the sequence part of this video, the guy needed to press a button nearly 50 times to come up with a super basic arpeggio. I like things simple so dunno this device suits me..
@@OoraMusic Hey sorry didnt mean to critisize you personally or anything, but more that I think the device might have to much options and menu diving for my needs. Happy you took the effort to make the video !

This helps a lot. Thank you. This is the 2nd video of yours that I've seen that's really helped.
Thanks so much Oora, great to see this was useful for the users 🙌🏻
My pleasure!

Just got my murdered out Oxi and your videos are so helpful. Thank you, hope you’ll make more!
Will do!

Grandioso Federico! Very inspiring!
Nice techniques Federico! This thing is simply amazing and an endless source of inspiration.
Thanks a lot!
that is a truly awesome sequencer. I can totally imagine hours of composing using this combo. Vermona, check. OXI One...dare I? At least its small lol
go for it :D

Have fun!
im liking the step sequencer already
its great!
Superb combination of gear today.
thanks!
Insane power in this technique WOW! Thanks for sharing!
My pleasure!

Noted!
It is still possible to see what Federico is doing. You can still zoom in the video. It worked for me.
Thanks for the Video! Well done and learned something today!
Glad to hear it!
Very useful indeed!!!

For me, it's the opposite. I prefer the NDLR, it's way more visual for me than a Grid sequencer.
This is so cool !! Thank you to explain it 🙌
Thanks for sharing! this sequencer is amazing.
It really is!
This technique is very useful, thanks! However, it seems I can’t record the arp chord pattern? Pressing record only plays back a single note.
Super awesome tip. Thanks man.

At 12:10 - 12:25 for example, can you record that improvisation into a new pattern?

Wish I know how to solder tho :)
I like oxi , i loved the analog delay machine
yeah that thing is awesome

How do you find the oxi one compares to the hapax (which I own and love). TBH I am a huge fan of anything grid-based :)
Nice vid! Have you used the Hapax? If yes how do they compare?
never tried!
Sarebbe bello poter vedere un video con Oxi One e Moog Mother32! Non ho visto un moog nel tuo arsenale. come mai? Grazie per i tuoi video!
Thanks a lot.
Most welcome!
Great video! I have a question, how do you get that chord preset buttons in the first row? If I go to chordmode, all the 8 rows are chords.
you need to update the firmware I think
That's it! Thx!

Hi Oora, Isn’t the Oxi One redundant if you own the Push 3?
OXI One is way more powerful as a sequencer to me!
Is it possible to harmonize to a poly sequence or just to a chord sequence? Thanks!
I think you can harmonize to any track
Can you change the chords using an external midi keyboard?
I don't like one button chords.
Thanks for the video!
@federico. Si posso pilotare al cambio più Synth simultaneamente?
whats your camera
Try the NDLR.
sooner or later!
I agree, the NDLR is a better choice for me. It's way more visual and compact.
Looks like a great sequencer but the price is a bit high
Are you still using the Synstrom deluge ?
Not at the moment, I lend it to a friend
how did you get black buttons?
is a limited edition
I absolutely love oora and this channel but the hand gestures make my skin crawl. Is it just me or does anyone else get the same feelings?
ahahah, tell me more! might be my Italian heritage
It’s you.
Hehe, "but don't tell anybody" =)

what can I say, im a basic human being.

I think I made the fastest Subscribe ever. Just took me 2 seconds lmao.
For 750 Euro Before tax it better be the best arpeggiator out there and make me coffee too…. for a midi controller!! Lol No!
Just saw your videos they re really well made !! Lol no!
I fail to see the point of this.
