I am currently learning the piano, and I still cant imagine how one would go about writing a song like this. It seems so difficult.
elton is a very musically talented man, he wrote most songs in less than a day. i wish i was able i’ve tried a couple times and unfortunately it’s not my area of talent haha
and it has to do a lot about cords once you get a your melody it's quite easy but getting a nice melody is really difficult
Listen " Tonight" from Elton John, and see the lesson in "Master of keys". Stunning, incredible..
Not saying it's easy but if you know theory and have practice and know your music ideoms it seem less impossible.
2:12 is my favorite part of this. I've rewound that part so many times. Just flows so well.

Man, Elton, and Ray Manzarek of the doors, and Jerry Lee Lewis are on a different level of rock n roll. And their piano playing gets em there. There is something about being good on the piano that takes it to an entirely different level. Also Richard Wright of Pink Floyd. With the great piano player, the band becomes one of the best in history. Also, great performance here, thanks!
First time i hear this in Only piano whitout trying to play the lyrics. Too many make piano covers or tutorial but always plays the lyrics and misses so much of the real Runes. This is 10/10 from me.
Love the “chord merchant” effect on all Elton’s songs, using his voice to carry the tune. Nice presentation.

Suggestion: of you don't have or you have not created the sheets then just say so it say I did this piece by ear. When people listen to this the majority of us are piano players & we always ask the performer of there are sheets. Please answer or simply include in the description, that there are no sheets.
