Farmers Branch is a good solid skatepark. Often our first businesses fail, but what matters is that we learn from our failures and succeed later with that gained knowledge.
A lot of Skate companies have artists that do the designs and they get royalties. Some of the reason why Skateboarding is so great is the Artistic aspect of the products, the unique designs and drawings. Even some of the small Logos were desinged by very experienced Artists. I went to some Design classes in college, it was crazy to learn about Graffic Design and how even simple Designs can become popular and appealing.

The more money you have the easier it'll be to have a successful skateboard company in 2022. This isn't the 90s or early 2000s anymore. Or become a well known pro and then start your own later like others have. If you don't have a lot of money why tf would any pro wanna skate on your team? No pro in his or her right mind would take peanuts from a startup skate company. You need a lot of money no matter what.

Your art is dope, man. Just because your style isn’t being utilized in the skate industry, doesn’t mean it can’t be. Nobody was putting hip hop style graffiti on skateboards until Andy Howell came along and did it. Nobody was putting sexy anime girls on skateboards until Jeremy Klein came along and did it.
As a skateboarder and a T-shirt wearer, I can tell you I will never wear a shirt that says "learn to love". That's too arrogant. Think of the person who reads it. Who is the target audience? Haters? They read that shirt and they barf. Lovers? They already love. Too wimpy and meaningless. John, Progress Daily makes way more sense, and portrays a positive image. Learn to X makes assumptions and draws from the bottom. Food for thought. Otherwise I love your videos.
Good luck on your new endeavor but… There is a thing as diversifying too much… Building a new thing or figuring out how to grow what you have is a tough question. If you have something that has plateaued maybe the energy spent on a something new can be used to grow that thing instead of creating something that splits your attention and creative energy. Maybe it's a matter of how you think of Progress Daily being a "Skate Brand" you don't have to market to the just the skate industry. Who cares about being "core" if that's the thought of taking Progress Daily to other more commercial market places. It can still be a brand that fosters all your creative ideas.

I like most of your designs, but i am not into anime at all. the main reason i don't order shirts like this is because i prefer stiched logos much more than prints that look all cracked after a half year or so. especially the small minimalistic prints in one color could be stiched as well for 10 dollars more.
