doctor gave a full medical report faster than the last minute of the game was
That was awful
🤣
I knooow
He previously recorded 15 different AD injury videos and has them ready to post every other game
He got the script early
He gets hit in the eyes more than any other nba player I’ve ever seen. Wear some freaking goggles man. Sincerely a lifelong lakers fan
Update: he’s had been poked in the eye and missed part of the game or at least a possession three times since this video! Pray for his eyes come playoff time🙏
FS. Kareem, Worthy. Goggles could unlock a next level AD.
Funny part is he used to wear goggles when he was in HS
Thicker brow could help. Hit up Lebron’s hair guy.
Yes, wear goggles or a mask.He will get the best diagnosis. And move forward. This is not that serious people. AD knows his position. Let's go Lakers Nation.
Yes dear goggles or mask. It's playoff time and 14 more games left. I'm not going to worry. Let's Go Lakers. Win or go home. Not on LBJ WATCH.
And people still calling him soft saying he should have played thru it lmao insane
Yes such a pu si
I’ve had a corneal abrasion…. That shit is painful. I wasn’t out for long, but I couldn’t open my eye without pain for a day or two.
Ironically, AD has been having one of the healthiest seasons he’s ever had yet. The last time he played over 60 games was all the way back in the 2019-20 season.
It's called PEDs
Yeah, but you know it’s coming though😂
Cause he's made out of fiber glass
this may be the most games he's played but he's played through various injuries (hip, achilles, among others) basically since day 1 of the season
This guy is a legend fr underrated channel and very reliable
What the hell have you been watching !!?? RELIABLE really !!!
This channel just so underrated. The sport injury analysis definitely in top tier. And the quick response just amazing.
i’m glad it hasn’t happened - but i cannot understand why espn has not scooped him up.
He missed an opportunity not yelling “Adrian!” Into the camera.

How amazing that you already have a video analysis real-time
Are you kidding me on live TV they didn't say anything official till the 4th qtr
And then MY GOD that ending was telling ONLY FOR LABRON create an OPPORTUNITY 😮
This is the opportunity for the Sutterer-Glaucomflecken collaboration we've all been waiting for!
He needs this collab bad, great job with treatment and prognosis but absolutely terrible treatment outline haha. 😅
Yes, yes and yes!!!
I scratched my cornea before, and yeah the contacts being out was recommended. However, i didn't have comfort in my eyes until i put my contacts back in 2 days later. They acted like shields from my eyelids blinking or external factors. But eyes heal up really quick compared to other areas of the body.
And no foul called...
LOL, what foul would you have called?
It was
@@osabros8496 it wasn't - I watched the game and just re-watched a clip.
@@oneputt4152 fouls don't have names. A blow to the head while he drove to the basket is a foul.
Refs see what they choose to see
Doc! I’m seein the gray hairs, time really has flew! Lookin good and I’m happy to see how far your channel has grown to become!
I'm actually concerned, seemed like he aged dramatically in the past 6 months. Maybe I'm just overthinking it, but he also looks exhausted.
Thanks for that thorough explanation 👍🏾
Great explanation
Video came up so fast, bet he isn't even wearing pants for this video.
🤔😅
😂😂😂
Who wears pants now a days?
@@nathank4708 I have fashioned all of mine into parachutes
It was up in the blink of an eye
This channel is amazing.
Doc is real life kowalski the way he is giving an analysis so quickly
Excellent video 👍 I had LASIK 10 years ago, the one that involved rubbing the cornea off and shooting the laser afterwards, instead of cutting the usual flap. 1 week later due to the hot humid weather, I felt a sharp stabbing pain in one of my eyes and my eyes watered excessively with my eyelids shut to the point that I could not even open it. I had to have someone drive me to my lasik doctor who applied some numbing anesthetic eye drops that provide me instant relief from the sharp pain..At that time, I remember my doctor saying there was a tear in the top of my eyes which he had to cut off with a precise scissor. Apparently what happened was my eyes didn’t heal completely from the lasik surgery and the weather caused the top layer to break and tear. After watching your explanation, all of that makes sense now that explains the symptoms I had….but not to worry, my eyes completely healed…. To tell you the truth, I really felt like I was going to lose my eye sight when that happened… but the eyes are incredible in that it can heal completely from a tear in the cornea 👍
Good job, Doc.
Nah this was way to fast it wasn’t Trayce Jackson Davis it was Doc that hit AD
😂😂
What are the pros and cons of amputation in this case?
Thanks doc I was worried about him 👍
Good video!
AD gets hit in the face every single game. I thought maybe the unibrow would protect him but I guess not
Dam
Thought you did something there huh
😂
@@xkingxlouiex he did lol
😂😂😂
Thank you God bless you
🎉
Can you make a video about Coby White?
We need an update ASAP
Do you have any input on the potential implications of corneal dystrophy or is it still too early to tell?
John Stockton had a bad one early 1st quarter in Game #5 of the 1992 Western Conf Finals against Portland with the series tied at 2-2. The Portland player's finger went pretty deep into Stockton's eye and, you could hear him scream-out in pain.
Stockton missed the rest of Gm. #5 but, came back and played in Gm. #6 two days later, played well and, you definitely could see the results of the abrasion in his eye!
I had this injury happen to me before it takes like 6 months to fully recover with the eye drops but it still hurts when waking up in the morning sometimes.
Thank you for your quick video post and for a thorough explanation of what happened to A.D. Will he have to wear goggles until his abrasion heals?
I’ve had trauma to the eye 👁️ before dr said if the hit was that much closer to my pupil I would’ve went blind in that eye
Do a video on Poa LSU concussion
Didn’t even kno this kind of injury was possible. AD discovering new ways to get hurt
Facts
Dude he played most of the season unhurt. He hasn't been seriously injured in like forever. 😂
AD in Kareem an Horace goggle mode
he's played all year leave him alone
Funny enough, dude has been having one of healthiest seasons in a long time and he’s been toughing it out all season long despite getting fouled a lot. He’s played over 63 games this year, which is something he hasn’t done since 2019
Damn, you are quick
The most receptive to injury player in nba history. Like everything on this man is fragile its amazing the longevity of his career.
I love I can come here and see what the player suffered and how bad it is & other information
Yup I know how Davis feels I’ve experienced the same situation it’s painful how the doctor explained is exactly how it feels like your eyes tears up a lot, it took me 3 days to heal on the 2 day and 3 day my eye was sensitive to light I had to wear shades but it healed on its own
I’ve had a corneal ulcer, it’s very painful
That’s the main possible complication of these abrasions. But pretty uncommon to happen
So I've actually scratched my cornea twice and both times they did the eye drops with the dye.
It sucksssss, ANY light hurts your eye and you never wanna open it. I had to wear an eye patch for a few days both times and it eventually healed but man, it sucks.
Is this the same thing that happened to Jokic a few weeks ago? (the road game at NY if I'm not mistaken)
I recall AD was playing 2K live as himself and got hurt 😂
u stupid 4 that😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
His brow should have protected him.
I had / have a corneal abrasion, but it was from dry eyes and sleep particles scratching it in the morning when I open my eyes. Had to wear an eye patch at work (office) and everyone made fun of me.
I seen this last night. Thinking to myself right now crazy!
Doc, I need some antidepressant medication after watching that game. I'm a huge Laker fan. 💔 (joking ofc...)
😂😂😂
Davis has been getting no calls all month, Sabonis elbowed him yesterday in the same eye
The last month is when they started letting people play without blowing the whistle every 2 seconds. this is what basketball should be
That wasn't a foul AD put his face so close to Sabonis shoulder he had no place to turn
@RIPJimmyA7X bro it don't mean go hit people in the eye ....blatant fouls like should be called.
Are you going to cry???😢😢😢😢😢😢😂😂😂😂😂
The Mamba would have played with one eye. AD soft as Charmin!!! There is kid playing college ball with one arm. Come on AD grow some!!!
He has to wear clear goggles for eye protection.🤔
Not Street Clothes AD!
Ouch!!
Ouch. Had a corneal abrasion in 4th grade. Still cant open my eye during peak light hours, pretty brutal.
I dealt with this injury back in high school. I was trying to scratch my eyebrow and didn’t realize my pencil was in that hand 😅 my eye was swollen, non stop tears 😭 doc prescribed an ointment and bandaid 🩹 to shut the eye. Took about 3-5 days to heal
Statue in coming for Davis but not at the Staples center. It will be at the California Medical Center. They have seen way more of him than the Lakers on the court.
Can you go over Saddiq Bey's injury?
If that was bron, lawsuits wouldve been filed.
you mean the guy who can never get calls?
@@WopJrhe got so many calls that game
@@WopJrbecause he flops constantly.
@@leonardo3399 look up the definition of the word constantly.
Please check out the Florida and Auburn injury
Years of Muay Thai Kickboxing gave me this eye swell all the time in the past. Elbow 2 the eye is almost expected every fight I got into. Heals in a couple of days with no issues. Wish my shin bone healed as fast. Anywho...
If the grade of the scratch is only on the first layer of cornea its 1 to 3 days. If in the unlikely event it goes deeper in bowmans membrane it will be longer.
ouch , I am not a Lakers fan but glad he will be ok
Contact lens will add comfort and help the epithelial cells heal. Antibiotic drops are are absolutely warranted any time the epithelium is broken and never use numbing drops repeatedly for treatment. Call dr glaucomflaken and ask him if this is a pants patient then interview AJ hawk and ask him why he had a pressure patch for this condition last fall 🤔
You got my attention with "chopped off."
Can you predict injuries even before the game starts?
“We’ve cut trough the eye here”
Old a$$me: technologic..technologic🎶
So, since Davis is as fragile as glass and takes seven times as long to heal as a normal human, he'll be back in one to three weeks.
Joke died faster than your grandparents he played more minutes than your fav player this season goofy🤡🤡
@@DFederalBureauofInvestigation all those minutes mean nothing when he's shooting below .500 for the month of March. His best days are gone.
@@namessuckehpretty sure hes shooting exactly 50% from the field so your point is invalid. But if we go by your logic since he is shooting 50% his minutes do matter
Corneal abrasion is extremely uncomfortable. The ointment helps heal it in 1-2 days.
Of course, the Refs didn't review this as a foul but went back and took Bron 3 pointer after the Warriors shot.
Hopefully, AD will not be out for weeks.
Dr Brian, do you think AD has Graves’ disease?
Lakers Have Injuries To: AD, Lebron, Vanderbilt, Reddish, Wood, and Vincent, I Doubt if They Will Make the Playoffs! 💜✌💛
Lol I never was gonna comment but lol damn you be on it on soul lol
How have you not been contacted by ESPN yet? These analyses would be so clutch at halftime/postgame. Been watching for years. You’ve proven you could do it on a super tight timeframe too with quality editing.
Get me a “looking at our biodigital anatomy tool here” shirt
Why'd you cut his eye in half? Hasnt he been through enough already?
AD will be back next game per Dr. Brian...send this to woj
I had a corneal edema due to stupid me forgetting to remove my contacts before bed. Worst pain ever.
Bron needs to put this man in a glass case until the play in
I think you missed something though. For any other player 1-3 days. For AD could be 1-3 weeks.
It's all about the eye's upper inner skin stretch problem. Will be good in one day
To be fair he had all the time since the injury happened in the first half to the end of the game to prep potential diagnoses and ready and submit the video as soon as he had the info about ther fact that it was an abrasion but i get the point😂 and yeah all those stoppages were ridiculous
We needed davis so bad at the end of the game... not because we needed him defensively but maybe he could've got a ladder and tapped the shot clock like a remote.
Underrated comment 😂😂😂😂
Not only this guy made of glass but also plastic as well , can easily poke through 😂
All I know is that he has to take eyedrops and eye ointment for a few weeks. I had one last year
I had this 3 years ago, shit was unbearably annoying for like the first 24 hours. After that it was fine.
LET'S GO! LAKEEEEEEERS!!! WIN!!!
🏆 🏆 🏆 🏆 🏆 🏆 🏆 🏆 🏆 🏆 🏆 🏆!!!
They lost like always🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
It's Anthony Davis, so we have to think that if anything happens; it could be 3 days up to 6-8 weeks.
The NBA should mandate eye protection goggles for players. It's only a matter of time till someone gets their eye poked out.
Doc call him but his proper name
...its Glasstony Davis
He better come out with the Kareem Abdul Jabbar goggles next game
Looks like Trayce Jackson-Davis's, Medial Epicondyle popped Anthony Davis on his eye.
It's AD so it will be a week instead of 2 days...
Fr😂
What’s crazy is the warriors always fouling him every single game they played especially draymond.
Need to rock those goggles.
Supposedly he’s got the Stoudemire eye injury
"Unless he has a complication"????? We're talking STREET CLOTHES, here. Probably out for the season.
🤡
Hopefully he’s not out for long 😢
Ice it and go! Man up!
Wow! We had to be created. There is no way the eye is by chance!
You can get your cornea scratched but not get a foul called…
