The difference is he doesn’t have as much responsibility so he’s able to do more. 3 bigs who play D and score, he has vet leadership in Conley, he has defense. So he can pick and choose his spots. He’s playing free right now and that should worry the Nuggets

Yes it’s only the first game but this is still a huge deal. Denver just lost home court advantage and it’s the first time they’ve trailed in a playoff series in two years. That pack of Wolves is out for blood and they’re ferocious. Ant Man’s absurd energy is fueling not only that team but the entire state of Minnesota where they are starved for a championship in any sport.
To be honest, Nuggets played awful even in the Lakers series even though they won. I was thinking if they play the same in this series, they'd lose, and and game 1, they lost, so I'm really not sure. Wolves can def take them down.

Maybe the most impressive thing about Mr. Edwards, is how gracious he is, in doling out "thanks" and credit -- to his teammates, to his coaches, to USA Basketball -- and on, and on, and on. Watch his interviews. He makes no bones about how badly he wants to "kill everything" that's in front of him. But at the same time, he's always giving credit & thanks for his success, to those who've helped and supported him. In the middle of this season, I watched him in a profile Ms. Andrews did on Ant. They played a game of Jenga -- and he was intelligent, charming, and charismatic (without being creepy, or hitting on her). At his young age, THAT's when I knew, that Anthony Edwards is a different and special kind of dude. Like everyone else, I just love watching the man play basketball.

The Wolves aren’t exactly an upstart young team. Conley and Gobert are vets and KAT has been in league for nearly a decade, though he does have to mature. They are pretty balanced, but yeah series isn’t over for sure.

It’s really crazy how they switch up after one game although I do have the Wolves taking this series in 6. Naz Reid going off in that 4th quarter is what killed the Nuggets. Give this some thought. Last year the Nuggets beat a 42-40 Wolves, 45-37 Suns, 43-39 Lakers and a 44-38 Heat. Three of the four were play-in teams. It was the weakest competition in a championship run. I have seen every finals since 1965.

No size advantage for DEN over MIN like they had vs LAL. DEN has a size advantage over most teams they play and can force teams to play no more than 1 big at a time. Can’t do that vs MIN with KAT and Gobert 7+ and Naz pushing that height. With at least 2 of those 3 on the court at all times and KAT and Naz being great shooters, it inevitably means Jokic and or Gordon/MPJ are pulled away from the hoop and therefore out of position to rebound. The game within the game. As long as MIN plays at their norm I don’t think theres anything DEN can do to win except hope to have an outstanding offensive performance from their players. But that is unlikely given MIN has the best D and DEN bench is not as strong as last years.
As a Denver fan, I agree with you. However, Jokic and Murray do have a champion DNA and they are very very resilient. They are the best when their backs are against the wall.
My only fear is Jamal and his health, he seems to struggle a lot.
