That’s my biggest issue with this… they constantly praise him for playing at the level he plays for his age, and turn around and excuse him for his age. Is it impressive to play at that level still? Ham was an ok coach but did not ever do any in-game coaching, adjustments, or time management. He had no offensive or defensive scheme. He never took accountability, always speaking on the team's health, never acknowledging his opportunities. No one knows what went on in the locker room

Unless your name is Phil Jackson, coaching for the Lakers is a 2 year career option. From Rudy T, Mike Brown, Mike D'Antoni, Byron Scott, and up until today. The Lakers management routinely fires coaches after 2-3 years max. They got lucky Phil dropped in their lap.
