Jordan was literally averaging 25 ppg, 6 rpg and 5.5 apg playing about 37 mpg for a Washington Wizard squad that was in contention for the top three seeds in the Eastern conference before He got hurt. He played hurt for a few games and even tried to come back early from the injury before the season ended. . He regularly drained his knees througout the season and even played with cracked ribs.... There were no real expectation when Jordan returned from retirement for the Washington Wizards. It was more of a publicity stunt to get Fans in the stands to support the team. They wound performing WAY ABOVE EXPECTATIONS UP until he got hurt. (They actually had a shot at the playoffs) Record 26 - 21 before Jordan gotten injured......11 - 24 Record afterwards.... Jordan played ALL 82 games the next season.... averaging 37 mpg.!!! (at age 39 - 40). He was Team leader in STEALS, POINTS SCORED, and Second on the team in REBOUNDS, and ASSISTS..... and THIRD IN BLOCKS.... He literally DID ALL HE COULD. GO LOOK IT UP.

I didn’t say it was just on Lebron. 16 teams make the playoffs every year. Yet 16 teams aren’t realistic title contenders. The teams with at least two top 15 players usually are.

      That’s my biggest issue with this… they constantly praise him for playing at the level he plays for his age, and turn around and excuse him for his age. Is it impressive to play at that level still? Yes, but no matter what team you build around him, he will no longer be in championship contention bc of his style of play. He won’t defer to anyone else. At his age, that is a detriment. I saw AD under the basket calling for the ball all 4th quarters. Dude wasn’t getting the ball

    Ham was an ok coach but did not ever do any in-game coaching, adjustments, or time management. He had no offensive or defensive scheme. He never took accountability, always speaking on the team's health, never acknowledging his opportunities. No one knows what went on in the locker room

      Darvin Ham, Luke Walton, David Blatt, Frank Vogel, Paul Silas, Mike Brown, and Eric Spolestra . “ 1 “ is a top coach, and only one other has a championship (which is with Lebron) The others have been fired or haven’t been a head coach anywhere else (even not being attached to Lebron) and also no one is viewing them in the same level as other coaches like Phil Jackson, Greg Popovich or even Steve Kerr or Ty Lue… stop acting like Darvin Ham was a seasoned coach that understood how to develop this team

Spo is the only coach in that list to be considered in top elite coaches this past decade) So as I was pointing out the list of coaches have all been bottom of the barrel and Darvin Ham has not shown anything to say he is better so the statement of LBJ getting coaches fired and it says more of the player and clearly not the coach… is dumb.     Shannon knows the comparison between MJ and Bron at this stage of the careers was totally different and that's why he demanded "yes or no." One has been load-managing and playing and training and hand-picking teammates in a players-choice type of league, while the other came out of 3 years retirement as an executive wearing wing tips to play with no other all-star. Obviously, the expectations are far different.

      Perk is reading a script like all media professionals do. he might not even agree with what hes saying. The topic of having 10 head coaches affecting lebrons legacy is what they know will get engagement and having differing arguments, especially since you have shannon there, will further ratings. Shannon couldve responded alot better but in actuality, no. having 20 head coaches wont affect his legacy. he accomplished what he accomplished already and everything else is icing on the cake. some players sit at the end of the bench till theyre 42 and are a non factor in-terms of the team in every asset but lebron is actually productive and then some at that age.

    Unless your name is Phil Jackson, coaching for the Lakers is a 2 year career option. From Rudy T, Mike Brown, Mike D'Antoni, Byron Scott, and up until today. The Lakers management routinely fires coaches after 2-3 years max. They got lucky Phil dropped in their lap.

    He had Erik spoelstra his first year in Miami they were not doing very well to start the season.
    They were 9-8, and he went up to the front office to Pat Riley. He told him we needed to get him out.
    Pat Riley basically told him don't let the door hit you on the way out and kick rocks.
    That was the first organization that told him no perk is absolutely right. You didn't do it to LeBron James way they showed him that no player is above the organization or the team. I'm glad that Pat Riley stood behind Erik Spoelstra.
