The dumbest thing every championship LeBron team has done was trade the players that won them the championship. They'd still be winning had they kept Dwight, Caruso, KCP, etc.

@@1990758 True!! Or even win coach of the year and get fired.

Exactly
Exactly this, we'll see what happens next in relation to Ham!
Exactly. I watched every game they played this year in full... and he was terrible. It took him literally half the season before he knew his best starting 5. He wouldn't use timeouts to stop opponents going on runs. Half the time the Lakers weren't even running plays. He deserved it, and the comments here prove it. Nobody thinks he's a great coach...
💯
It's also clear as day that you don't win championship by continuing firing coaches. Lebron wanted Erik Spolestra fired too. Had the Heat done that Lebron would likely be with 2 less rings.
Is so obvious Stephen A didn’t watch the games at all. He literally didn’t know how to keep a rotation. Didn’t know when to use his challenges or timeouts. Waited until Denver was down 4 to call a time out up by 20. He literally didn’t know what to do

Not to mention game 5 we were up 10 in the 3rd. DEN makes a run. I’m screaming call a timeout as the lead dwindles 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 Tie -3…now he calls a timeout. Bruh I wanted to slap him through the screen. We’ve been dealing with that BS for 2 years. Media pays attention to the big time games but he did that vs everybody. Even the games vs the “nobodies”
Lakers should hire Bob Meyers, which would lure Klay at least on the FA market to join LA too
Shannon doing the magic johnson impersonation had me dying 🤣🤣💀
Timestamp??
It sounds to me like Stephen A gives the coach all the credit and the players all the blame. It is clear Ham is a friend to the majority of these tv personalities. I don’t remember hearing any of this when Vogel was let go
Weird his energy is different for vogal fr
Ham is a "brother" to SAS. Vogel is not.
Not gonna lie bro they did pitch a stink when Vogel was let go but not as much.
I'm not sure why Steven is still on TV, he has as much credibility as me or you or any other random person... Plenty of others who actually have credibility to talk about this matter.
Vogel's firing was upsetting as well
I think Darvin Ham is better suited as an assistant HC, I do think there were stretches where he seemed lost as a HC. Rotations, not calling a timeout and controlling the flow of the game, etc. Do I think he deserved to be fired? No, the Lakers roster is a mess, so what's another HC going to do? One more year, and then blow it up.
he’d be a good g league coach where he has no pressure
Rob & Jeanie blowing the meeting with Ty is why we're here. How do you refuse to allow him to choose hos coaching staff and low ball him on salary? Unbelievable! 😂
Darvin Ham has always been the assistant coach. Everybody knows who the real coach is......
This is his first full season and you have already drawn that conclusion?
The Lakers hanged the in-season tournament banner.
That means they are proud of it.
Who lead them there?
Who took over late last season after LeBron got the other coach fired and lead them to Western Conference Finals?
Sure he’s not perfect but for a rookie head coach getting fired from a dude who has a history of firing all his coaches (or at least trying), you’re irrational
Forget Lebron, no one on this Lakers team is stepping up to the plate for Ham. That says it all there.
SAS didnt mind vogel getting canned.
Right!
so SAS didn't see the video of Ham in the full timeout, not saying a word, writing all the players names, erases and leaves?
I’m tired of the media talking about this, he lost the locker room, his rotations were bad, he didn’t know how to manage timeouts, and he didn’t know how to adjust game to game, you’re playing Gabe and Spencer at the same time when they both can’t give you anything on offense, in the middle of the season he benches Dlo and Reaves to start Reddish and Vando who have no offensive output, I don’t wanna hear it, he wasn’t the guy!
The biggest problem with his rotations was having Lebron in them.
Facts! Who pushed for him to get hired anyway.
Look at the hand he was dealt
@@flow2speak88 Lebron bragged about the in season tournament and said injuries throughout the season hampered the Lakers while also passive aggressively taking shots at his teammates and the coaching. Seems folks are having a tough time sticking to a narrative.
If he and all the rest of the coaches were so Bad then why did they hire him? Who's responsible for that. Who's responsible for Westbrook? If you pick horrible then you have to blame yourself and say that you suck at selecting good people.

Now these media members are actually pissing me off. Darvin Ham was not a championship coach, they got those accomplishments in spite of him, they should not have been a 7&8 seed. Their personnel was lacking and we all agree that was a major part but you playing Schroeder, AR, Lonnie, DLO together against Denver, you win the IST then decide let me start Cam Reddish and Taurean Prince and go from top 4 in the west to 2-10 fighting for an 8 seed. @@BlkHueHef which is a byproduct of him being traded in the first place. While healthy before getting hurt we saw his capabilities on display, Lakers could have had that.
It has to be seamless from GM to coach to players. GM has to give the coach players that fit his system strengths, and the coach has to give players a system that fits their strengths and the players have to perform to their strengths. We always think about how well the players and coach mix....but we rarely think about how well the GM and coach mix. Westbrook did play under ham for a season tho
@iamjamesmeeks Shannon off the henny, he’s literally trying to create a narrative that personnel decisions entirely go through the best players on the team. It’s mentioned to them but the GM always has the final say, if they chose to make a bad decision that also falls on the Gm. Also the lonzo ball statement he made he tried to blame them getting lonzo ball as a Lebron/Ad decision when they weren’t even on the team at the time. Infact, the lakers traded lonzo for AD which in hindsight was a great decision, given lonzo has been unplayable for 3 years now.
