So true lol. This was literally the most heartbreaking way for them to lose it. Go up 1-0 with like 10 min to go and they have been shutting down any good chances the past 2¾ games and to give up the tying goal shortly after was crazy. Then go to OT where I thought they were going to get a lucky bounce and take advantage. Really pumped my B's pulled it out the way they did and to rip out the hearts of leafs fans again makes it that much better. So much better than had they just beat them in a blowout

I'm so tired of a 40M core that is supposed to score, and can't get more than 2 goals in the past 13 playoff games (2:14). Is that really coaching's fault? The coaching is barely allowed to say anything challenging to these core without having to walk it back. Nylander after coming back played well too, created lots of offense.

It’s up to the coach to get the best out of his players, is that their best? They need a coach who uses the regular season to create accountability and get the players to buy in. It’s too late by the playoffs to have your power play that listless, a proven winner needs to be hired who understands what the head coach main job is, to make sure his team is ready and building momentum into playoffs. Leafs don’t take care of details because the coach has not made them accountable during the season. He needs to learn the personality of every player and learn how to motivate them. Anyways, surely changes have to come now for god sakes.

I'm so happy they actually won this, and I'm sure they can make a deep run. Just really think about this for a moment. If Canada has any hope of bringing the cup home this year, we would have to see either CONNER MCDAVID win his first stanley cup, or THE VANCOUVER CANUCKS win their FIRST EVER.

As a Boston fan this series was a straight up enigma… Leafs outmatched bruins in a ton of games. Swayman stood on his head, McAvoy was basically wearing blue and white for half the series, Pasta redeemed himself in the last moment. For the Leafs idk what needs to change exactly. Nylander when he returned did his job and then some, Matthews was definitely ailing with something, Bertuzzi was a nuisance in a good way just as he was with the bruins last year but took a lot of penalties early series. In short, wild series, easy to say was amazing when your team wins but I genuinely think this was a classic

Toronto has some great offensive players, but their lines are not cohesive together. First line is essentially a second line... second line w Tavares/Nylander/Knies is essentially a first line... then you throw Matthews w some 3rd/4th on your third, but ultimately just play matthews interchangeably between the top three depending how long he stays on ice for shifts... just fxcking up any rhythm or flow to their offense til late in games. Matthews needs to become less selfish, so he can be productive w other top players, and they need to find some higher skilled Power Forwards to play along w them cuz Matthews Tavares/Nylander/Marner... none of them are going to go into the corners w enthusiasm or intent at this stage of their careers

Nah, Toronto has the basis of a good team. People just gotta stop riding the Matthews train and thinking he's the best forward in the league. Dude's 69-goal season meant nothing in the playoffs. Same as Kucherov or Ovechkin. Yes, he is a good player, but it won't help the fact that the Leafs are still a soft team that barely gets physical when things need to be physical.
