As a United fan i really appreciate you making this
honestly :)
Same here lad and i am learning something at the same time!!!❤
Same
Same here! And I also hope he is right. It will be tough already against Villa to be without Licha, but if there is a chance he'd "only" be out for 2-4 weeks - and not months - its good. Waiting for the update form EtH
Ditto.
The club has just stated it’s an MCL injury, out for 6 weeks. You got it right again as always
the club said at least 8 weeks. so according to this guy it must be a complete tear
@bl4ck0p nah probably 4-6 weeks Healing then 2 weeks to get up to speed
@@bl4ck0pthey’re get top nutrients. His injury will likely take 3-5 weeks to heal and the rest will be to get his fitness back.
I swear he knows who’s getting injured a day in advance
Dr Sutterer’s going full Elliot Carver. I knew it!
I was thinking the same thing
Knew he would do this one the minute I saw it live
I wonder how many surgeries he's left early to make videos?
@@Tomtainius I wonder where the doc has been. vacation? Was hoping for his take on the Dre Greenlaw injury at the Super Bowl. Crazy how he got injured just walking on to the field. Never seen that in my life.
Love to see you cover football/soccer. Thanks Doc!
Every channel that shows sports should hire you for this type of analysis
This!
Better than a referee to always defend the referee
Lol doc how fast are you! Were you watching the game.
But on the other hand I am huge fan of lisandro Martinez I was so excited having him back after 4months of injury and now this😢. I really really hope he will come recover quickly this time 🙏🙏🤞
Agreed. I didn't manage to watch the match today - (first one I've missed live in 6 years or so) and when I heard about this I immediately thought to myself that I would have traded the result for this not to be as serious as it first sounded. This vid give me some hope.
I suffered watching this slow motion over and over 😢
Thanks for your insight doc!
Feeling a whole lot calmer about this injury with your reassuring tones. Much of our hope for the rest of the season hinges on this being minor tweak.
Thank you for posting this so quickly!
Absolute hero for posting this video. As a united fan I genuinely appreciate it
This channel is underrated, subscribed
As a United fan thank u for this. All the fan channels will play this up soooo much because of previous injuries. Good video
In the thumbnail u can see the player extending his knee, it's usually a good sign. The forces seem to be mainly in the tibia and peroneal LM and PA, with no tibia shift, I agree with the assessment MCL is probably the structure that is going to be mainly stressed. Probably up to a grade 2, but most likely 1.
“I agree with the assessment ”
🤣🤣🤣
You drive a van for a living.
@@M-nm6rq yes, its a mobile clinic. u should visit
This gave me some hope 🙏🏽 Thanks
Instant sub. Was watching when this happened and absolutely devastated for the butcher of Amsterdam. Such an incredible talent and foundational center half for United. Only true fans know how crucial of a piece he is to our starting 11. My first thought was, “we see a lot of strains like this in the NFL. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him back in a few weeks.” Seems that is about right, depending on his rehab. Looks like he’s going to be ok, just needs some extra rest. So it’s good to have Lindelof back in the squad. Take it easy Lisandro and get well soon!!! LISANRO’s ****ING MAGIC. HE WEARS A MAGIC HAT.
I literally couldn’t enjoy the win because I was so scared of us going back into our horrible form..
Ever since he came back we have looked amazing 🤩 hope he gets well soon and doesn’t get anymore injuries
Bro he was going to make no change to United they’re so trash 😂. He’s been injured more days than he’s been at the squad.
@@grod6998 jog on boy
@@grod6998 that might be the most prepubescent, low IQ thing I’ve read this year. 🍪 eat this
Luke Shaw as the left centre back over lindelof until martinez comes back
Appreciate the analysis doc, my heart sank when he got injured, important player for United
Thanks, you really calmed me down. He is so valuable for our team, difference like day and night. Keep on working 👏
Praying you're right. Thanks for giving us hope 🙏
Thanks for your analysis Doc !
Your channel is great for my mental health 🙏
Nice one doc! Pls keep making these videos 🙏
More football-injury related videos please!! Your channel has inspired me to explore the world of sports medicine. Thanks for all your hard work!!
This was a injury i instantly thought you should cover, hope your right and he comes back this season
Really thorough and excellent analysis. Thank you!
Turns out the doc was pretty spot on 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Mid-grade MCL. 1-2 months. Could have been much worse!
Big United fan, saw this and wanted to watch. Excellent and professional content (as well as pretty reassuring!) thanks (United should sign you up, our medical staff are in need of a refresh!)
Thank you for this. Kind of helps.
Martinez is such a world class defender, but he's been out injured with a broken foot for like 6 months and he literally JUST came back from injury.
He's played 2 games since returning and now he's injured again. 😔
Thanks for doing this doc! Love that you cover all sports
This is the first video I’ve seen of yours and as a united fan I’m so glad you made this 👏🏾🙌🏽
Thanks very much for making this video ❤
thanks for covering this
Everytime I watch, it look worst but at the same time you explining this relief a alot of stress....keep up the good work💆👏
Nice explanation doc, thanks!
Great stuff man, keep it up
So quick and so concise! Thanks Doc!😎
Dr. Sutterer always breaking it down. As a Man United fan, thank you for reviewing this.
Great breakdown, thanks!
Thanks for this video. Great insight, you’ve earned a sub
Another United fan here. Thanks for putting this breakdown together, it was super insightful.
Hes prob gained a shit ton of new subscribers. The doc knows how important this one player is.
Super interesting, thanks Doc
Good stuff Doc. Quick recovery Licha!
Good stuff thanks Brian.
Amazing vedio doc, thanks for the great work!!!
Content I never knew I needed until today 😅
Awesome... You should do more on these injuries as a thing
That was very reassuring and an antidote to all the hype....thanks!
Great content - thanks!
Thank you Doc! As a United fan I really appreciate your insight and analysis. Lisandro Martinez is one of the most important players in this team, he’s the only left footed CB we have which is important for balance, it looked really bad in the replay but hopefully it’s not too bad and he’s back in a couple of weeks, fingers crossed 🤞
The most important united video on the internet today!!
We are rubbish without Martinez in terms of build up play, and Onana doesnt have any body to pass to who is this composed on the ball
Thank god you were right doc. And thank you for covering this injury. This kid is an absolute warrior, glad he avoided the worst
Cheers Brian, fingers crossed for the lad's recovery.
Looks like you were spot on
I love Licha's style of playing and I wish we can see him on the pitch soon ❤爱
Best player at Manu in my opinion when he is fit.
Love the video and analysis.. one thing I would like to see though is a full real time playthrough either at the start or end to see the effect in the real speed. Cheers doc!
Very good point of view!
Spot on doc confirmed mcl 8 weeks estimated out
Great work 💪
Amazing video, informative and very enjoyable. Thank you as a Man United fan
Great info, Doc! 👍👍
Covered my favorite player; subscribed.
Thank you so much for covering football, most American sports RUclipsrs ignore the sport
Unreal efficiency in making the video
I really hope the Dr is right. We're not the same team without him. Best utd player by far ❤
Thank you for covering Football ⚽🔥 Really enjoyed that one!
Great win for the lads! Hope Martinez gets well soon
Wild how it looks similar to a hip drop tackle from NFL
Thanks for covering this... Nice video. Looks like we'll lose him again for a couple of weeks though 😢
Goat of sports medical info
Thank you really enjoyed your comments.
Thank you doc!
Should be noted, while this caused the initial injury, he played on and took a second knock where he was jockeying over a ball with a West Ham player over top of him putting his weight down and Martinez's knee buckled which is the point where he was taken off.
It buckled because the ligament was torn.
Great work. this informations that u gave us just made me a bit calm about the news we United fans are waiting for. I hope its not that bad and the fact that he could walk off the pitch is also a plus its not that bad .
Hard to imagine it would be an ACL as he walked off the pitch, as you say.
Great channel
Confirmed - 8 weeks with an MCL injury, this guy knows his stuff!
About three minutes after this tackle, Martinez went down again - and in obvious pain. Utd two up - why wasn't he immediately substituted at the first tackle? He’s just come back after four months recuperation following foot surgery!!
He was clearly looking up at the manager in pain when he sent him back on. He was too brave from his own good. Should not have let him go back on the pitch.
Love the football coverage !!! More please 🙏
As a final year med student and a Man United fan, I remember thinking about a potential collateral ligament injury after seeing the valgus force when I saw the game live. Great video and was confirmed today by the club.
Hey Doc where have you been? Hope you're enjoying a well deserved vacation or something and nothing more serious. I was looking for your take on the Dre Greenlaw injury at the Super Bowl. Crazy how he got injured just walking on to the field. Never seen that in my life.
This makes me feel a little bit better. I hope your right doc
Awesome vid
As man utd fan thank you soo much this really helped us alot we was very worried 😟 losing our warrior
Doc we need that Dre Greenlaw. WTF maybe Achilles?
Yea
You've given me abit of hope, he is massive miss , hes been out pretty much all season 😢 and the last few games hes been back along with cas has massively improved our performances on pitch to the eye. Praying 🙏 for the butcher
Incredible analysis and hopefully it's correct as I thought it was an ACL tear for sure. We need Licha.
Coufal also stops himself from rolling atop Martinez. That was good awareness. Hopefully, Martinez won't be out for long.
Nicely done. As a United fan I sure hope you’re right.
thanks doc
I injured my MCL just like this a few years ago. It took weeks until I could kick a ball and 20 years later I still can feel the injury in the ligament.
Can be worse than a break apparently
Ya, this one is going to be bad
Amazing vid
Clicked so fast,thanks!
He was spot on
Yea, I've had a few knee injuries like this over the years, and most of them get better in a week or two.
The only one that took a few months to heal was when I twisted my knee while ice skating, I slipped, but somehow the skate managed to get stuck in the ice and my body twisted around it.
I heard, and felt, a pop, as it twisted, and it felt like my upper and lower leg disconnected from each other for a second.
I think my injury was worst than Martinez's one here, at least I hope so..
We need Terry Rozier III knee injury breakdown asap, best regards!
Thank you
Great vid. Worth mentioning he continued playing for a short while after before going off, so grade 3 seems unlikely.
Since when do you do football videos? As a United fan, appreciate this.
Not much tbh but with nfl done I’ll follow other sports more, especially if they have good feedback
You can also see Martinez pulling the West Ham player his shirt upwards, making it a less of an impact as well, no? Not that it would do that much, but hopefully he will be okay. In need for some rest days for sure, but he'll back!❤
woa i love that u are doing football injuries now!!!!
We United fans all love Licha so much, so this made me feel better, hopefully he only has a grade 1, thank you Doc!
The best news since the win...I was really worried about Licha..he made a straight impact and losing him AGAIN, would've been bad the for whole squad. Thanks Doc❤️🔥👹❤️🔥
