You literally skipped every step between download DS4 and play game.
Yeah. He skipped the driver installation and making sure in your [Devices and Printer] under [Controller Settings]>[Properties] that your controller isn't set to nothing as setting it to xbox360 is optimal.
There are afew smaller steps depending on if your using your controller wirelessly or not.
You should make a video since you know, im not being sarcastic

Summary of the video:
1- Download DS4Windows
2- Launch DS4Windows
3- Install the Xbox 360 driver from within the DS4Windows app, it should ask you the first time you launch the .exe file.
4-Edit your profile.
5-Finally, play your game.
DS4Windows is a Xbox 360 emulator, it emulates an Xbox 360 controller, i've been using it for a while now, and it works perfectly.

Awesome tutorial, but I am experiencing a major issue with this solution and that is that the keys are too quick. For instance it goes twice the direction with any L stick movement. This also happens with X, O, Triangle and Square. When I try to exit the game I can't even do it because the window pops up but then goes away again because of that double click thing. I tried to look around in DS4 settings but haven't found out how to fix this. Help would be appreciated! :)

I did exactly what you showed but when I start Fifa20 the controller goes wrong for example "Up bottom attached to triangle right to x ,etc"

When i plug with usb, it only charging the controller, doesnt connect

After starting the DS4 windows up you go to setting and select "install drivers". Follow the instructions there and it should work.
If it doesn't Run/Search [Devices and Printer] from your windows menu(button on the bottom left by default). It's normally found in [Control Panel].
Find your controller, right click it and select [Game Controller Settings]. Go into [Properties] and make sure the preferred controller is [Xbox360].
Try running app data
What kind of USB cable are you using? Some USB cables are Charge only, others are Charge and Data transfer through them.
I think u have the wrong usb cable, u get some that only charge and then others that can connect to ur phone, controller etc.

I think this happened ever since the new windows update, not sure, but it worked perfectly well for me just a few months ago.

It didn't work for me, but I found another link in the comments that leads to a download of SCPtoolkit. Followed the instructions, and now it works fine, both with usb connection and bluetooth connection.

I tried all the solutions but didn't work for me. My brother happened to buy a new controller, plugged it in, worked perfectly well compared to my old controller, didn't need to do anything else. I Have no idea how this happened to my old controller other than assuming it's damaged.
there are bunch of settings and tweaks that you can do with DS4 windows and this guys just shows you how to connect and download the software. wtf.
