They should all be proud of the work they did on this one. Twenty years later I think its held up incredibly well. It seems like public opinion on it has changed dramatically compared to when it came out in theaters to a mixed/negative review.
@@ronburgundy3172 they mocked their own work? Where did you hear about that? In this 'making of' video I see nothing but pride for the hard work they put into it.
@@thedancingcabbage I think that makes sense. We've also had 20 + years of superhero movies that have come out since this one. And in a word do you know what I think of them? "Meh". Meh plus at best. And its not that they don't look or sound good, or have B list actors - of course none of that is true. Its because they are all derivative! I can see them coming a mile away. This Ang Lee piece was different, like they say in this video its a Hollywood blockbuster with indie sensibilities. We don't get that in the MCU or DCU. This one stands the test of time.
@@TheAviari the score and pacing of this movie is incredible. The cadence, the feel of this Hulk adaptation is just one of one. A Hollywood superhero film with an incredibly enriched indie feel. Special.
I remember watching this behind the scenes as a young boy 3-4 years old.. back in the 00s, what a special moment in time with this one. Cadence and score is unmatched let alone in a superhero film. I was completely infatuated and mesmerized with this Hulk adaption growing up, eventually I grew up and the memories of watching this every single day started to fade, I always thought growing up it was because of Hulk and that Marvel magic I was so connected too this film and this behind the scenes feature, but as a man know in his almost mid 20s seeing this all over again, I was Kinda blown away how much substance and character this movie has. The score and pacing blew me away all over again, I didn’t feel blinded by nostalgia either, I was kinda surprised the movie was what it was bc I just remembered it as hulk bouncing around being hulk. Instead i was watching a very enriched Hollywood indie film with comic panels across the screen going in and out of scenes beautifully. This just might be a top 10 Marvel film in my eyes still to this day as of Late July 2024.
I don’t know why people say this flopped. It made almost twice the amount they had for the budget and was one of the highest grossing films of 2003. I just think that because it didn’t do the same numbers that tobey maguire’s spiderman did it was considered a failure. They did an amazing job of showing the hulk’s strength, he felt like a force of nature that couldn’t be stopped
Yeah this is the best hulk movie and I hate that they didn't cast Eric bana again as the hulk or the other cast and took the hulk in a different way instead of sticking to this storyline 🙄

To think they mocked their work once the movie came out but they did the best they had with tools available at the time
back in 2003 society wasn't depressed enough for this film... today we can all relate

BEST Hulk 2003-2008
Still love the shot of Hulk getting riddled with bullets.
I'll defend this Hulk any day. And I love it's score, just like I love for the Sam Raimi Spiderman Trilogy.

Melhor filme do incrível Hulk da história 😀❤️❤️
Absolutely loved this movie ❤
I like this version of Hulk 2003. Eric Bana is so hot.
The animators did a great work
0:05 Hulk: (Screams and roars)
This is My Third Childhood memories along side with spiderman
Music:Danny Elfman(2003)
1995

We need practical effects animatronics and better writing and script
I wanna know who did the voice for hulk.
Wow
Boring movie but sadly better than the weak ass cringe hulk marvel currently has
